The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a newly created fundraising products team that's responsible for both new and innovative product development and our sector leading virtual events programme. As the Fundraising Products Officer, you'll be instrumental in delivering and refining a diverse range of innovative fundraising products. Your key focus will be on meeting net income targets while ensuring an exceptional experience for our supporters. Reporting to the Fundraising Products Manager and with direct oversight of the Fundraising Products Assistant you'll be driving initiatives to attract, nurture, and retain supporters.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across the community and events teams, you'll contribute to developing new propositions to engage both existing and untapped audiences. Throughout, you'll be encouraged and supported to explore, experiment, and think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

Product and Project Management

• To help plan, deliver and develop portfolio of products, across both virtual events, community and event fundraising disciplines, to achieve KPIs and income targets.
• To project manage and lead on the successful delivery of fundraising products, ensuring clear schedules are in place and internal teams and other stakeholders are briefed and managed appropriately.
• To develop and deliver communication and content plans, maximising engagement from supporters and, in turn, remittance and average gift.

Supporter Care and Stewardship

• To help develop, and lead on the delivery of, effective and engaging cross-channel supporter journeys for participants including, but not limited to, email, social and direct mail, and develop resources, content and materials as required.
• To test and optimise supporter journeys to maximise remittance, average gift and retention, taking recommendations forward to provide the best possible supporter experience and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.

Marketing and Digital

• To work with the fundraising products manager, internal teams and the community & events marketing team to develop effective marketing activity.
• To help develop approaches and assets, such as content and resources, for products in your care to drive engagement from supporters, remittance and average gift, across a range of channels.
• To work with digital engagement and the community & events marketing team to monitor and report on performance, including the most effective channels, creative and audiences, to help ensure investment is maximised.

About the role

You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. What you’ll do

• Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.
• Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations
• Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.
• Monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience of managing Individual Giving or direct marketing activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets.
• Proven success in donor or customer acquisition and retention through direct marketing.
• Strong track record of managing external agencies and suppliers.
• Some experience of using CMS and email platforms, ideally Marketing Cloud

As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. You’ll also work with our Artist Liaison Manager to utilise our high-profile supporters and ambassadors to inspire and raise awareness of our cause with key audiences and develop creative and engaging ways to amplify our media campaigns on social media. About you  
To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.    

• Experience of generating engaging and impactful media and talent plans that secure stand out coverage across news, consumer, online and regional media.   

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write for a range of audiences and outlets including news, consumer, and trade.  

• Experience of working with high profile people (including influencers) and management teams.

The Role

As an Active Sports Officer, you will assist in the day-to-day operation and management of The Hub, the largest, most popular outdoor sports facility in central London.

The Role

Reporting to the PR Manager, the role will help deliver key media campaigns that call for change to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke.

• Design, prepare and implement the agreed activities and campaigns, which are likely to be varied in nature and might include dedicated fundraising events, grant applications to support families in disadvantaged socio-economic groups, and legacy generation.
• Recommend changes and updates to the activities and campaigns based on testing and evidenced data.

Promoting the Charitable Aims of the Charity

• With marketing support as needed, create effective messaging to be shared externally and with existing members to engender a sense of belonging to the high learning potential community, together with an understanding of its rights and its potential positive impact on society, with the aim of creating a desire to support the charity now and on an ongoing basis.
• Work with the Community Information Coordinator to utilise all appropriate opportunities to convey these messages.

Membership

• Design and coordinate an effective system to enhance the membership offer and improve membership renewal and retention.
• Work with the administration and community teams to ensure that the journey from interested party to becoming a member and from member to retained member is compelling and framed coherently and that systems are in place to effectively implement this.
• Work with the Community Information Coordinator on campaigns and strategies to reach new members, engage with existing members and retain existing members.
• Have a thorough understanding of the membership database, collate information and monitor, evaluate and report on all aspects of membership performance.
• Design and coordinate regular market research, including competitor analysis, to identify member/stakeholder needs, to support the rationale for the development of new member/community products and services, and to liaise with and advise other teams in the organisation as appropriate.
• Analyse and interpret marketing and social media performance.
• Identify opportunities for engagement of the membership and the wider community.

Arts Emergency is looking for an enthusiastic person to join its dynamic Fundraising & Marketing team.

A charity supports people living with dystonia; an often debilitating and painful disorder that is lifelong and is estimated to affect around 100,000 people in the UK, Dystonia UK is a lifeline for many. In addition to running vital support groups, this small but mighty organisation actively lobbies on behalf of patients and runs national awareness campaigns to help increase understanding of a condition that can be hugely debilitating.

The organisation is expanding and is looking for a talented Communications Officer to work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications in a role that will be busy, hands on, and key to communicating the amazing and important work this organisation undertakes to its audiences.

Key responsibilities within the Communications Officer role will include:

• Writing engaging copy for a variety of mediums including both printed and digital
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications in creating and designing digital and print collateral for campaigns and events
• Lead on the design and publication of high-quality digital and print information about Dystonia UK, its services, projects, and about dystonia, the condition, and medical services.
• Work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications to identify and communicate key news items and be responsible for the production and dissemination of the e-marketing
• Manage Dystonia UK's social media channels on a day-to-day basis ensuring all activity is in line with the charity's brand and communication strategy and work closely with the Directors to produce and develop the social media content schedule
• Engage directly with the organisations community by drafting private messages, replying to comments, and passing actions on to other members of staff where required.
• Creating and adapting content for each channel to maximise reach and engagement.
• Work with colleagues to provide event support by creating content to promote the event, liaising with speakers and partner organisations, and attending conferences and events where required
• Plan and organise activities to raise awareness of Dystonia UK, tying in with other notable calendar events such as Dystonia Awareness Month
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications to ensure that the organisation's branding is upheld in all aspects of external communication.

Dystonia UK is a small charity, and this is a busy role where someone with some communications experience will have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic Director to really develop their skills and expertise both operationally and strategically. You'll be in a position of responsibility and will be able to work autonomously whilst also working with closely with and being supported to learn.
