Worth Unlimited is a national children’s charity embedded in local communities, whose mission is to create spaces where young people are heard, are valued and can grow.  We mentor and counsel young people one to one and in groups in schools and in the community. We run workshops and drop in sessions and carry out open access work within our local areas. 

We are looking to recruit 4 trustees with any of the following skills: Finance/accounting, safeguarding, youthwork, leadership, people management, communications, marketing, fundraising, event planning. This role will involve approximately 5-6 hours per month. 

We are also looking for someone to take on the role of treasurer. This would involve maintaining an overview of the organisation's affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. 

We are keen to involve individuals with a lived experience of our work: those who have suffered adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), come from an economically disadvantaged family or had a child who suffered from adverse childhood experiences. Throughout our work, we are committed to reflecting the full diversity of the community we serve and to promoting equality of opportunity for everyone. We are working to ensure that our workforce reflects the communities it serves and we are interested in people with skills to make our board more diverse and inclusive.

Winchester & District Young Carers believes that young carers are children first and should be free to develop emotionally and take full advantage of opportunities for educational achievement and life success. 

Our Charity was one of the first in the country to be set up specifically to support the needs of young carers. The Charity has been successfully running for 25 years and has an established Trustee board and strong staff team in place. As the Charity's Treasurer, you will help the organisation to maintain an overview of its' affairs, ensure its financial viability, and ensure that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. You will oversee and present budgets to the Board, make financial statements available, and ensure that the charity has appropriate management accounts and financial reports. As a good communicator, you will also help other Board members to understand the statements, so that trustees can make decisions that ensure the financial resources of the organisation meet its present and future needs. 

Group B Strep Support (GBSS) is seeking new Trustees to join our Board and help guide the charity through its next phase of growth and impact.

Step One is a long-established and ambitious charity, with over 85 years’ experience supporting people across Devon with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity. Each year, we work with up to 800 individuals, helping them to live more independently and thrive in their communities.

To complement our current strengths, we are looking for someone with a clinical background, with an emphasis on mental health, which could include experience as a clinical psychologist, GP, mental health nurse, or OT, amongst others.

Emerge Worldwide exists to protect children, young people, and women from sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Through education, training, and advocacy, we equip communities, schools, and professionals with the knowledge and tools to prevent exploitation and safeguard the most vulnerable.

As an Education Team Volunteer, you will:

Would you like to improve the urban walking environment and our quality of life? Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to chair our board of voluntary trustees. 

We are a charity that can influence anyone’s daily life. Our mission is to achieve a better walking environment and inspire people to walk more. 

This is a pivotal time in our history: with a dynamic and experienced new Chief Executive, Catherine Woodhead; and a period of development, with a new strategy incoming that will take us towards our centenary in 2029. 

With our thousands of members and supporters we run campaigns for positive change and influence policies that improve our streets such as encouraging families to walk to school, 20mph speed limits and controlling pavement parking. 

We manage innovative national projects, engaging schools, communities and workplaces to encourage more people to walk short journeys. Our year-round walk to school challenge captures the imagination of children in over 2000 schools. 

We work with local authorities and businesses to improve streets and public spaces. Our reports, such as The Pedestrian Pound, make a substantial contribution to the active travel agenda. 

We are seeking someone with strong leadership and networking skills, with experience of good governance and helping organisations through growth. You will possess a substantial reputation which will add to the credibility of Living Streets. The role is a voluntary unpaid position, though reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The term of office is for six years.
