Job description

Family Support and Community Manager

The workforce at Loughborough Community Centre is growing.

Our current services include: Preschool, Family Support and Holiday Play with Meals Provision.

We work with all members of the community. Parents, children and young people  (0 – 18 years) are our primary beneficiaries.

We have a rapidly developing, small and dynamic team, that deliver a range of innovative early intervention, targeted services and family support provision from our centre at Max Roach in Brixton London.

We seek a self motivated and confident individual that can apply a professional approach and has a solid grounding in Family Support and Community Work. LCC’s applies a collaborative approach to service delivery, we work closely with local partners, stakeholders and local groups in order to provide the services needed in our locality.

You will be skilled at; leading a team, engaging parents, creating links between a range of stakeholders and hands on service delivery, whilst also possessing the administrative and organisational skills to ensure all work is clearly tracked, monitored and evaluated as per our standardised online software and individual funders requirements.

You will understand the wide-ranging challenges facing children, young people, families. Being flexible in adjusting your practice and the practice of colleagues to meet these needs.

Your work within our workforce will contribute to ensuring LCCs meets its aim of providing the highest quality provision and continually strives to improve and expand its services that are vitally needed by the community.

Hours will include some out of hours, evenings and weekends.
