Multibank Scotland tackles poverty and waste by redistributing essential goods to people who need them. We work through a network of charities, community organisations and frontline services to provide families and individuals with items such as clothing, toiletries, bedding, baby products, household goods and other essentials.
We currently operate across Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh, and are expanding into Glasgow. This is an important period of growth for the organisation, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial, practical and relationship-focused person to help us build lasting partnerships and identify new opportunities for impact.
Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.
This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.
The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.
A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.
The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.
Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.
The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. The successful candidate will add senior capacity at an important stage of growth, helping to turn external interest and opportunity into delivery and lasting impact.

The Community Engagement & Support role is about providing greater sustainability and resilience for the Fahr’s Disease community and Fahr Beyond as a charity. The post holder will be building the capacity for Fahr Beyond to provide support for people living with Fahr’s and their families through creating a volunteer network that can provide an ongoing fortnightly support group. What will you do in the role?
Volunteer Mobilisation & Management
- Support the development of a volunteer strategy for Fahr Beyond
- Actively manage the establishment of a volunteer network utilising prior expressions of interest, and you will support the onboarding of volunteers
- The main point of contact for volunteers and help resolve matters they may have
Engagement & Communication
- Monitor and respond to incoming correspondence to Fahr Beyond, along with assigning any actions for response to the appropriate volunteer
- Support the trustees and volunteers with managing Fahr Beyond’s social media
- Work with Fahr Beyond volunteers to ensure that Fahr Beyond maintains regular communications with patients, medical professionals, and key partners
- ·Represent Fahr Beyond at sector events and/or meetings, particularly with organisations we are a member of
Project & Event Management
- Support (and if required coordinate) Fahr Beyond’s education and awareness events for Fahr’s Disease, and events connecting multiple stakeholders in the Fahr’s Disease space

About You

You will be an excellent communicator, able to build trust, inspire action and work effectively with a wide range of people and organisations. You will also be comfortable working independently, managing a varied workload and developing strong working relationships across different groups.

- A Community Development qualification and/or transferable Community Development skills and experience.
- An awareness of (or willingness to learn) Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) – an approach focused on building on the strengths, skills and connections already present in communities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive action.
- A track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Effective and efficient organisational and IT skills.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The successful candidate will need to be based within a 30-minute commute of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel regularly across the wider area (travel expenses covered). The successful candidate must possess a valid full UK driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes.
- There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to other UK locations for meetings and events depending on the charity’s needs such as our annual all colleagues in person event.
- The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Help build South East London's renewable energy future
South East London Community Energy (SELCE) is looking for a Community Renewable Energy Project Developer to help deliver one of London's most exciting community-owned renewable energy programmes.
Working alongside our experienced Renewable Energy Projects Manager and CEO, you will develop community-owned solar projects from initial feasibility through to installation. As your experience grows, you will progressively take ownership of your own projects, developing technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills. Unlike many commercial renewable energy roles, this position provides exposure to the complete project lifecycle, combining technical design, commercial analysis, stakeholder engagement, funding development, planning, procurement and project delivery.
You'll work with schools, charities, leisure centres, faith organisations and businesses, helping them reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while generating long-term income that funds action on fuel poverty.
We're looking for someone who already has a solid grounding in commercial solar and wants to expand their skills across the full project development lifecycle while making a tangible difference to local communities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development
- Identify and assess potential community solar host sites.
- Undertake desktop feasibility studies and site surveys.
- Procure structural surveys, grid connection studies and planning consultants.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign and Partner Marketing Support

- Help coordinate the development of toolkits and co-branded materials for partners.
- Support the adaptation of content and messaging for regional and partner-specific audiences.
Internal Collaboration
- Act as a day-to-day contact for internal teams on partner marketing activity.
- Support collaboration between the Food, Fundraising, Produce and External Affairs team to ensure joined-up delivery.

The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations, supporting firms throughout their participation in the Suicide Prevention Action Lab (SPAL) programme, and ensuring they remain motivated, accountable, and on track to deliver their commitments.
We’re bringing together six representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to improve support for customers experiencing suicidality. The Partnerships Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the SPAL, working closely with participating firms to assist them in developing, testing, and implementing practical changes to help prevent suicidality.
The Partnerships Officer will manage relationships with multiple firms simultaneously, each at a different stage in their journey to testing and embedding new and improved approaches to identifying and supporting customers experiencing or at risk of suicidality. Success in the role requires excellent organisation, persistence, and relationship management skills, alongside the ability to understand the challenges and competing demands faced by participating firms and to support them in maintaining momentum and delivering results.

About the role
As Crisis looks forward to the next decade, we have a clear vision of how homelessness can be prevented and ended in the UK. This will be achieved by securing the policy changes that will solve homelessness, by delivering services that end homelessness for people and places, and by building a community of people across Britain who are helping to end homelessness.
As Senior Partnerships and Practice Officer, you will support each of these areas. You will work alongside Crisis’ policy, communications, and campaigns teams in England, Scotland, and Wales, to further Crisis’ policy objectives and ambition through knowledge and practice examples.
You will support the development of Crisis’s own services across Skylight Centres informed by best practice identified internally and externally. This will include leading a Community of Practice within Crisis.
You will support communities across Britain that are helping to end homelessness, by building relationships with external organisations and supporting the development of tools and resources to enable them to end homelessness. For example, you will be directly involved in exciting projects like; developing a Built for Zero placed based approach in defined areas and supporting our charity partners such as Lloyds Banking Group on joint projects and to develop their approaches to preventing and ending homelessness too.
You’ll work alongside Crisis Homelessness Alliance signatories and other corporate partners supporting them to understand more about homelessness and how we can all play our part to prevent and end homelessness.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have great networking skills and be good at making relationships across a range of different sectors.
You’ll understand how local authorities and wider public bodies work and be able to build connections and rapport with individuals working there.
You’ll understand housing and homelessness systems and the current legal frameworks that underpin them across the UK. You’ll be able to identify barriers and themes and know how services can be designed to make sure that those who need help can get it and how to listen to the voices of those who use it.
You’ll be passionate about change and seeing homelessness prevented and ended, with a drive and energy to shape the role to do this.
