With the launch of our new strategy next year we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our small yet ambitious fundraising and communications team at Cherry Trees as an Events Officer. You will take the lead on the planning, delivery, and review of a calendar of local events, working closely with the Head of Corporates and Partnerships to generate income to reach ambitious fundraising targets across the event programme.

In this role, the individual will manage a caseload of clients requiring early intervention or preventative mental health support, delivering group activities and co-produced programmes that empower service users to achieve their goals. They will clearly communicate the service model to ensure full participation, support clients in engaging with professionals across the community, and help develop peer support networks and community-based initiatives. The role involves working flexibly as part of a team to meet service needs, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all users, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. Additionally, the individual will participate in supervisions, reviews, and core service tasks, ensuring referrals and assessments are completed effectively and on time.

About the role:

Respect is seeking one Helpline Advisor to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.

You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.

About you:

• An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
• An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse 
• An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships 
• Experience of providing information, advice, and support by telephone, email and webchat in a helpline environment 
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

About this key role

As our Caseworker, you will provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment which links arrest to accessing community support, bringing police custody and community together in collaboration to support and or divert women from further offending.  This will involve delivering an outreach service that includes advocating on behalf of women, providing a practical service that will include supporting access to drug and alcohol treatment services, health services, community services, learning support and addressing the importance of healthy relationships. 

We will also rely on you to provide consistent intensive support that positively enables women to engage effectively with other community-based professionals to build a wider diverse support network and to undertake assessments and produce action and risk management plans for clients. Developing effective relationships with all relevant agencies, building an understanding of key referral routes, actively promoting good partnerships, and sourcing and developing joint working opportunities at all levels of the project is also a key duty.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player.

Role

As a Senior Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of projects within the Advisory team. Reporting directly to the Head of Advisory, you will be responsible for:

• Project Leadership and Delivery. Leading and managing advisory projects from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
• Strategic and Operational Client Support. Providing client-facing support across business planning, financial sustainability, governance, stakeholder engagement, and impact measurement.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential

• Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in a consultancy, strategic, or senior programme role within the social and community enterprise sector, ideally in sport and physical activity.
• Strong track record of managing multiple projects and prioritising effectively under pressure.
• Deep understanding of how the community and social enterprise sector, ideally through sport, can contribute to wider social outcomes, including health, wellbeing, regeneration, inclusion, and community resilience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage credibly with a diverse range of people and organisations including marginalised communities and senior leaders from public, commercial and community organisations.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent empathy and active listening skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven business coaching and mentoring skills supporting individuals and community organisations.

Desirable

• Experience in financial modelling, business planning and investment readiness support with a clear understanding of the key drivers of profitability and sustainable growth.

• Working knowledge of community and social investment plus funding landscapes.
• Operational experience of community organisations and social enterprises, ideally in sport.

This is an exciting opportunity in the Westminster Outreach and Befriending Service for a Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver family support and volunteer peer service to families and children under the age of 5, new parents and their families, across the London Borough of Westminster.

This service provides a programme of support for pregnant women and parents/carers which includes face-to-face befriending in the home and community as well as support by phone and video. The aim of the programme is to increase the resilience and emotional wellbeing of parents who are experiencing isolation and require emotional/practical support.

- Offering a vital and compassionate advice service to support and guide those affected by dementia.
- Provide community based, face to face services for an increased level of support for more complex cases.

- Ability to manage your caseload of clients in a timely and effective manner.
- Possess the IT skills to be able to navigate and upload information onto a patient or client database.
- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other challenges this would be taken into consideration.

One-to-one delivery:

· Deliver a wide range of interventions, predominantly one to ones, embedding in a culturally informed and multi-agency approach to domestic abuse in the area.

· Ensure delivery is in accordance with tasks outlined in the RISE Domestic Abuse Perpetrator manual and process mapping.

· Adhere to relevant CIFA and other manuals and deliver programme sessions to ensure the integrity of delivery, which is overseen by the Advanced Practitioner and Team Leader.

-       Apply specialised materials to support your delivery to racialised and marginalised communities.

Be responsible and accountable for working with Advanced Practitioner, Domestic Abuse safety advice and line manager to ensure risk is reviewed on a weekly basis.
•
Practitioners will comply with the appropriate audit standards when working with perpetrators in line with RESPECT or HMPPS’s requirements.
•
Use motivational interviewing techniques and strength-based approaches in building a range of therapeutic skills to engage with service users to address their abusive behaviour.
•
Encourage and facilitate learning with participants on 1.-2-1 or group setting, including proactively working to elicit behavioural change and acceptance of their behaviour towards their partner, or ex- partner.
•
Work closely with other professionals to ensure appropriate steps are taken to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person. Apply RISE’s escalation procedures.
•
Be personally accountable for the completion of assessments, mid-way reports, and End of Intervention reports, and ensure they are to a high standard.
•
Provide support and consultancy to other professionals to ensure appropriateness of referrals and improve understanding on domestic abuse.
•
Ensure effective planning for the delivery of each intervention with a co-practitioner (if groupwork) in advance of the session.
•
Participate in and pass the necessary training to be able to deliver all interventions.
•
Assist or lead on the delivery of training courses.
•
Create and maintain an effective partnership working with statutory, private, and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.
•
Work with families and extended family members to tackle abuse within the home.
•
Where appropriate, apply pre-session motivational or Deniers sessions prior to attendance on the main course or groupwork intervention.
Integrating the Safety Support Service:
•
Liaise and engage closely with the Domestic Abuse Safety Advisor to increase the safety of partners, ex-partners and children of the servicer user to manage the risk and develop treatment goals.
•
Prior to delivering of Domestic Abuse Interventions, liaise and share information with RISE Domestic Abuse Safety Officers to ensure an integrated and culturally sensitive approach is applied to risk management.
•
Attend monthly risk review meetings with Domestic Abuse Safety Advisor and Senior practitioners to ensure effective risk management procedures are always applied.
Recording and administrative tasks:
•
Ensure timely and accurate recording of all relevant data (attendance, feedback, mid-way and end of intervention reports) using systems provided and in line with performance standards.
•
Maintain an accurate audit trail of all relevant communication with partner organisations involved.
•
Complete specialist risk and vulnerability assessments, and reports as per templates provided.
•
Ensure completion of pre and post questionnaires in line with RISE’s Social Impact strategy.

The Roles

Children and Young People Case Worker (Children in Care)
You will coordinate and support a caseload of young people in care, matching them with trained volunteer mentors, supervising the relationship, or delivering direct 1:1 support where required. You will work to build self-esteem, resilience, and aspirations, engaging with partner agencies and ensuring positive outcomes. This includes monitoring progress, supporting volunteers, attending professional meetings, and organising group activities.

Children and Young People Case Worker
You will work directly with young people on a 1:1 basis or in group activities, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs. You will also support parents/carers where this benefits the young person, coordinate with other agencies, and empower young people to achieve their goals. Safeguarding, risk management, and accurate case recording will be central to your work.

About You

For both Case Worker roles, you will have:

• At least 1 year’s experience working directly with children/young people
• Experience in planning and delivering activities or interventions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new long-term high value giving strategy, driving significant income growth across corporates, philanthropy, trusts, foundations and statutory funders. About You

About the Role

• Develop and implement a three-year high-value fundraising strategy and roadmap, underpinned by research, insight, KPIs, and measurable milestones.
• Manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, risks are mitigated, and performance is tracked against KPIs.
• Lead relationship-building and networking efforts, cultivating a strong pipeline of prospects and donors including high net worth individuals, trusts, corporates, and major grantmakers.
• Inspire and engage organisational leaders, staff, and volunteers in the identification and stewardship of key funders, ensuring collaborative relationship management.
• Drive the development of tailored funding propositions, working cross-functionally to align funder interests with organisational programmes and long-term goals.
• Ensure operational excellence, through effective frameworks, processes, and compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice standards.
• Provide values-led leadership, fostering team development, continuous improvement, and alignment with St John’s compassionate leadership culture and strategic aims.
