Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent IT skills across core MS/Google packages, ideally with experience of CRM use

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to take on an exciting role within the Humanitarian Team of the Programme & Policy Department/Programme Management Team.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of anticipatory action and disaster risk financing, including the development, monitoring and management of risk triggers, crisis modifiers and related fund management tools. A good grasp of programme and financial management combined with an ability to provide distance support to Country Offices and partners.

The Senior Programme Manager – Anticipatory Action (AA) will have significant input and provide technical leadership on the development of a new Early Action Fund, piloted with a select group of CARE country offices. She/he is responsible for the overall management for projects supported by the Fund as well as DRF projects with the Start Network (Start Ready) across the programme management lifecycle from the contracting stage to close out. The portfolio might include other humanitarian projects dependent on pipeline and workload. The SPM-AA leads the relationship with donors, working with country offices and technical teams to ensure programmes are delivered in line with CARE International strategies and procedures, and in compliance with donor requirements. Specific areas of responsibilities include programme quality, accountability, relationship management, impact reporting and knowledge management, compliance and risk management. About you

The team is looking for a talented individual to support the expansion of early and anticipatory action within CARE’s humanitarian portfolio.  You will have knowledge of trigger development, AA mechanisms and standards and a strong ability to build evidence and learning for new piloted approaches. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of increasing women’s voice and leadership in community-based approaches in anticipatory action. You will also have some experience in project cycle management and will provide integrated contract, financial and compliance expertise: from annual budget set up to reporting and close out. You will have strong experience with managing multiple stakeholders across a single project.

This is a 6 month maternity cover role to help deliver a major project to ensure that Muscular Dystrophy UK’s support is accessible to individuals and communities that we aren’t currently reaching or engaging with; to broaden the general reach of our support by working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and colleagues; and to recruit volunteers to support with this project.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager with drive, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills to join our small but dynamic Programme Management Office (PMO). The Project Manager will co-ordinate delivery of a small portfolio of projects within the Agile framework and will need to overcome challenges, escalate issues and risks and drive momentum. The role holder will need to be prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and get stuck in!

The role holder will also support the Head of PMO and Operations Optimisation with PMO management, including timely, high-quality reporting (internally and to trustees) and tracking key performance indicators.
