What the job involves

We’re looking for someone to join our in-house Film and Photography team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of video projects, working with a friendly, supportive, and talented creative team.

You’ll focus on editing a wide range of content, from event promotions and social media clips to documentaries and campaign films. Beyond editing, you'll also be an integral part of our shoots, helping with everything from monitoring camera feeds to assisting with basic production duties and managing equipment. You'll also play a crucial role in keeping our team's processes and systems running smoothly, including assisting with administration and managing our Digital Asset Library.

You'll have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to bring incredible stories to life, so strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Video Content Editor who is confident using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content and have experience in colour grading and audio restoration. You’ll have a good understanding of creating content for different channels, especially social media formats, and be organised, reliable, and happy to pitch in across editing, shoots, and administrative tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation are essential, as is a good eye for detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines. Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a small, busy creative team are also key, as is being a self-starter who's happy to take initiative and hit the ground running.

It would be great if you also have experience shooting film and/or photography, particularly at small events, knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation, and basic motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects.

Our charity-sector client is seeking a Temporary Individual Giving Officer to join their Fundraising, Engagement & Communications team for approximately 2 months.

We’re now looking for a Head of Data & Insight to lead this change. You’ll shape how data is managed and used across the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association — ensuring it’s accurate, secure, and drives decision-making at every level. Leading a skilled team, you’ll oversee reporting, analysis, and compliance, while providing high-quality insight to support our charitable objectives and make a real difference for people living with and affected by MND.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, motivate and develop the Data and Insight team to provide expert support across the Association.
• Line manage 3 direct reports.
• Work with stakeholders to set priorities and agree deliverables.
• Oversee workflows to ensure deadlines and service level agreements are met.
• Maintain and continuously improve data quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation including the General Data Protection Regulations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and data protection matters to directors and senior managers.
• Advise on projects and initiatives, ensuring data and insight are effectively embedded in plans.
• Collaborate with Technology heads and actively contribute to leadership discussions and strategy.
• Support the delivery of the Association’s Digital, Data and Technology strategy.

About You:

• Extensive experience in managing large CRM or care systems, ideally in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
• Proven experience keeping up to date with compliance, data protection and other regulatory legislation.
• Skilled in resolving complex data protection challenges.
• Experienced in campaign and database analysis and management using advanced tools such as MS Dynamics, FastStats and SQL.
• Knowledgeable in customer relationship management principles.
• Able to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and influence at all levels.
• Confident in explaining technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Advanced problem-solving ability.

Employment Consultant

We are seeking a motivated Employment Consultant to support people leaving prison into meaningful work by building strong relationships with candidates, employers and partner organisations.

Position: Employment Consultant
Location: Birmingham (office-based in Digbeth at least 3 days a week, with weekly prison visits)
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

This role sits at the heart of an innovative peer-led employment programme that helps people rebuild their lives after prison. You will work closely with candidates both before and after release, supporting their transition into the community and into paid work. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying candidates approaching release who are seeking employment
• Building strong relationships with candidates to understand and help address barriers to work, such as ID, banking and family contacts
• Supporting individuals through release and into the community with regular check-ins
• Building and maintaining relationships with prison staff and other stakeholders
• Organising monthly job surgeries both in prison and in the community
• Connecting with local and national employers, advocating for candidates and promoting their skills
• Collaborating with probation services, local authorities and third sector organisations
• Logging candidate progress using a CRM system

About You

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient and proactive. You will bring excellent communication skills, a genuine commitment to inclusion, and the ability to build strong relationships across different sectors. Essential qualities include:

• Confident and comfortable working in prison environments (security clearance required)
• Empathetic, non-judgemental and an excellent listener
• Awareness of the barriers faced by people with convictions, with a commitment to helping overcome them
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to connect with everyone from candidates to CEOs
• Organised, IT-savvy and confident with record-keeping
• Strong written skills, able to prepare CVs and disclosure statements

Experience in recruitment, case management or related work would be an advantage but is not essential. A driving licence and access to a car is required for prison visits (expenses covered).

This is the UK’s first peer-led employment initiative designed to support prison leavers into sustainable work. The programme empowers people with lived experience of the criminal justice system to support others, creating opportunities that reduce reoffending and change lives for good. Joining the Executive Team and playing a central role in shaping the charity’s future, you will:

• Lead, manage and continually improve the finance function
• Provide accurate, timely financial reports to the CEO, Executive Team and Trustees

• Oversee financial accounts, forecasting and reporting for large-scale programmes and estate developments

This is a role where you’ll work closely with colleagues across all departments, ensuring the charity has the financial insight and stability to deliver life-changing projects.
 
About you
You’ll be a qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a charity. You’ll bring:

• Confidence in leading finance operations and processes with strong attention to detail
• Experience of statutory reporting, VAT (including partial exemption) and financial compliance in a charity setting
• The ability to explain complex financial information clearly to colleagues and trustees
• Experience of introducing improved reporting tools and supporting others to use them
• Proven success in managing and developing teams
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the credibility and gravitas to influence at senior level
• A collaborative mindset – you thrive when working across teams to achieve shared goals
