The role

As Training Programme Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Growth: Owning the programme's growth strategy, including building an institutional offer for think tanks, foundations, funders, and NGOs.

• Marketing: Running the promotion of our public courses across social channels and professional networks to hit recruitment targets.

• Operations: Managing the student journey, from onboarding and payments to platform management (LMS).

• Development: Working with our course leaders to spot new opportunities and expand what we offer.

• Community: Keeping our alumni community engaged and supported alongside the wider team.

This is a 2 day per week commitment (with opportunity to increase the time as the programme grows).

Who you are

You’ll be someone who knows the world of foundations and non-profits well, you’ve probably worked in a few. Ideally, you’ve got a sense of the kinds of skills that these organisations need to develop (and that a communications consultancy could train on). You’ll also be comfortable in a marketing and sales context, able to argue why an organisation should invest in our training platform, and what benefit it will provide to them.

You will be:

• Intellectually curious: You care about how ideas impact the world

• Commercially minded: You have experience in business development or selling professional services

• A self-starter: You can take a brief and run with it with very little hand-holding

• Facilitation experience: You've run workshops or trainings before and can hold a room.

• Marketing expertise: You understand how to promote a programme, how to build an audience across professional networks, and when to bring in additional expertise (e.g. SEO, PPC specialists) 

• Tech-literate: You’re comfortable managing digital platforms, payments, and comms tools. Experience with Howspace is an advantage.

About BIG Alliance

BIG Alliance (Businesses for Islington Giving) delivers business-supported employee volunteer programmes to strengthen links between businesses, community organisations and education institutions across Islington. In doing so, it aims to help address issues of poverty and isolation, which are prevalent across the borough, despite the perception of Islington being an area of high wealth. 43% of children are growing up in poverty, one if the highest rates in the country, and Islington is the 6th most deprived out of 32 London boroughs.

Purpose of the job

The main purpose of the job is to facilitate development and delivery of the BIG Alliance’s skills-based volunteering programme, which utilises the skills, experience and sector-specific expertise of employees within our business partners to support Islington’s community organisations and residents.

Our skilled volunteers are placed with a community partner or beneficiary either individually or join one of our annual programmes which include: CoRe (Community Resourcing), Board Builders, Leaders in Partnership and Time to Talk. Over 3,000 employees have been placed as skilled volunteers through BIG Alliance since 2012 providing expertise in law, finance, IT, HR, and marketing and communications to name just a few.

The postholder will be responsible for the successful delivery of various aspects of this programme, delivering exciting, innovative employer supported volunteering projects that meet the expectations of specific corporate supporters, and the needs of the community with key geographical focus in Islington.

Job Description

Main duties

• Collaborate closely with community partners, corporate partners and BIG team to understand community needs and design appropriate employee volunteering activities to address these needs

• Develop relationships and effective partnerships with key stakeholders in the community including the local authority and community infrastructure support organisations to maximise the impact of BIG Alliance’s work.

• Support the delivery of all business skills activity and the wider BIG Alliance programmes.

• Proactively market volunteering programmes to BIG Alliance corporate partners.

• Source, place and manage cohorts of corporate volunteers in line with business plan and project targets.

• Develop effective working relationships with community affairs team with BIG Alliance corporate partners, ensuring that these companies are supported to develop employee volunteering and other initiatives that meet their targets, priorities and strategies.

• Implement effective evaluation and impact measurement tools in line with BIG Alliance corporate partner requirements, ensuring that evaluation informs best practise to ensure continuous improvement.

• Work on any projects with BIG Alliance, as and when required.

General

• Use BIG Alliance’s internal systems to maintain records and report progress, including due diligence and volunteer recording via Salesforce

• Ensure that effective project management systems for monitoring and evaluation are in place and keep detailed records.

• Proactively generate case studies, news articles, photos and social media content to promote the work of BIG Alliance in line with BIG Alliance communication targets and protocols.

The Community Events Executive will play a key role in delivering our Community Fundraising strategy. Working closely with the Senior Fundraising Executive - Community & Events, this role will oversee the planning, delivery and growth of community-focused fundraising activity across a range of channels. The postholder will manage a portfolio of community fundraising products and partnerships, tailored to engage specific audience groups and will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with supporters, Community Champions and volunteers at a local level to maximise engagement, participation, and income.

Stella Maris is seeking a part-time to full-time Regional Community Engagement Officer for the North of England to strengthen connections with parishes, schools, and local communities. You will play a central role in raising awareness of the charity’s work, building relationships with clergy and lay leaders, and growing support through fundraising, prayer, and volunteering.

The successful candidate will develop and support a network of parish contacts, lead engagement around our annual Sea Sunday appeal, and build partnerships with Catholic organisations, schools, and maritime stakeholders. Role Purpose

The Programme Funding Assistant has four core functions:

1. Provide administrative support across a portfolio of income generation streams - Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and fundraising relationships, support the development of funding applications, managing donor requirements, reporting to donors, and analysing data.
2. Coordinate TASC’s granting programme - Managing all tasks associated with the annual granting cycle including communication to grantees, including identifying new grantees, supporting the contracting process and supporting the development of the Annual Impact Report. 
3. Provide administrative and research support across TASC’s programme portfolio (Illicit Trade, Education and Responsible Business)
4. General administrative support including TASC’s CRM system

Position in the organisation

• Reports to the CEO but works across all programme pillars to support effective fundraising and granting processes. 

Key Relationships

• Internal relationships - TASC team, consultants, contractors
• External relationships - Donors, grantee organisations

Main Responsabilities 

Will include, but are not limited to:

1. Grant and Donor Administration (50%) 

• Coordination of a portfolio of 5 and 6-figure donors or grantors, with oversight and support from the CEO, securing repeat donations and increasing support where possible
• Administration of existing grants, ensuring that terms are adhered to and reporting processes are managed effectively
• Administration of donor communications
• Support the development of proposals in line with the objectives and guidelines of the prospective grantor outlining why funding is needed, how the project will positively impact beneficiaries, and how the funds will be allocated and managed throughout the project
• Prospecting and researching all donor types (including major donors, corporates, and trusts and foundations) that have aligned priorities
• Lead the donor engagement calendar, including drafting communications and touch points to key donors throughout the year 

2. Granting (20%) 

• Supporting the drafting and processing of all contracts at the annual granting phase
• Coordinating communications to grantee organisations
• Administering the grantee reporting process
• Managing the collation of partner reports and support the drafting the Annual Impact report for the programme

3.Programmes (Illicit Trade, Education, and Responsible Business) (20%) 

• Undertake research across programme workstreams
• Support in the organisation and coordination of events both in the UK and internationally, this could include venue booking, guestlist coordination and liaising with vendors
• Monitor news reports related to forced labour in business supply chains and other programme areas 

4. General administration and management of the CRM (10%) 

• Coordinate meetings and managing the team and CEO calendar
• Report internally on portfolio of relationships and prospects from the CRM, keeping the CRM and internal information management systems updated with records, contact, confidence levels and forecasted donations.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. This role is critical to the delivery of our mission and will support the Volunteering Programmes Manager to meet the needs of our community of 350+ volunteers so that we can reach even more LGBT+ young people across the UK. The role will be working across the Programmes Team, working on the Ambassador Programme and supporting the School Talks programme weekly. This role is an entry-level position and will provide the successful candidate with a strong foundation for a career in the voluntary sector. About Just Like Us

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.
● School Talks programme: We train and support our LGBT+ 18 to 25 year olds to speak in secondary schools about growing up LGBT+ and allyship.
● Pride Groups: We help secondary schools set up and run lunchtime or after school clubs for LGBT+ pupils and their allies to meet, learn and get support, creating a safe space in every setting.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the Volunteering Programmes Manager.

Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Volunteering Programmes Manager
● Manage the administration of our Ambassador and School Talk programmes. Including the recruitment, training, opportunities and engagement of volunteers
● Deliver Ambassador volunteer training on the weekend, in-person at different locations across the UK and online
● Act as a first point of contact for ambassadors on our programmes, answering questions, sharing new resources and encouraging participation. This includes supporting ambassadors with their direct questions, managing the group chats on a daily basis and inboxes
● Support the School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools, supporting the whole delivery
● Represent the charity at conferences, events, prides and fairs
● Ensure volunteers to have a fulfilling and engaging experience when volunteering with Just Like Us, that they feel recognised and understand the impact of their contribution
● Work collaboratively across teams to manage logistics and ensure the smooth running of Just Like Us programmes throughout the academic year.
● Support with the creation and development of resources for volunteers
● Assist the monitoring and evaluation of volunteering programmes by distributing surveys, collecting case studies and providing analysis of data obtained to evidence our impact
● Support our marketing and communication initiatives, writing emails and monitoring open rates

● Have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with great attention to detail
● Have a willingness to learn and develop
● Be able to travel across the UK, working some evenings and weekends to deliver ambassador training and oversee skill workshops for our volunteers
● Be able to work effectively both independently, as part of a team and across the organisation
● Be highly computer literate, willing to learn and use our database Salesforce quickly and proficient in using email, Google Sheets and Google Docs (or equivalent)
● Be able to work very effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Lead Trusts and Foundations Income 

• Develop a pipeline of grant funders to apply to.

Work with the Chief Executive to generate income from other sources with a realistic and achievable target of 10% total income via:

• Corporate partnerships in Islington, King’s Cross tech, creative industries and the City. 
• Community and individual giving, especially among affluent local residents. 

Build sustainable systems to support fundraising 

• ​Strengthen stewardship journeys including donor tracking systems and explore use of AI tools. 
• Contribute to fundraising communications and our profile-building.

Job Description

The Listening Place (TLP) is an award-winning charity providing face-to-face, compassionate and non-judgemental support for people who feel that life is no longer worth living.  Since opening our first site in Pimlico in 2016, we have grown to four sites and our service is delivered by over 850 active volunteers. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team and play a vital role in helping TLP to grow and support more people struggling with suicidal feelings. You will manage two key growth areas in fundraising: community and corporate. By crafting exciting partnership proposals and delivering high-quality events, you will help TLP build on its fundraising success in these areas.  You will use your relationship management skills to keep donors not just satisfied but motivated to support TLP.

Scope and purpose

The Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager will be the second most senior position in the fundraising team and will lead on the development of TLP’s community and corporate fundraising streams. Having seen significant growth over the past five years, from circa £50k per annum, to more than £400k, the post holder will oversee the continued development of these fundraising streams. The post holder will achieve a strong return on investment by proactively identifying new leads, effectively stewarding supporter relationships and providing an engaging and exciting ways for individuals to support The Listening Place. As a senior member of the fundraising team, the post holder will also build a successful, committed team, driving performance and contributing to the strategic direction of TLP’s fundraising function. 
 

Duties and responsibilities

1. Deliver the continued growth of corporate and community fundraising at TLP (combined £475k target in 2026/27) in line with investment in this area to help ease the pressure on major donor and trust fundraising.
2. Generate new corporate and community fundraising leads by mapping TLP’s volunteer and supporter networks as well as exploring cold leads which align with TLP’s mission and vision.
3. Develop engaging, inspiring materials to help secure new corporate leads including presentations, brochures and video.
4. Represent TLP externally at corporate and community events, networking opportunities, and sector forums to raise awareness and build strategic partnerships. 
5. Deliver and oversee excellent stewardship with all corporate and community supporters, establishing effective, long-lasting relationships with supporters and stakeholders including a creative approach to thanking supporters.
6. Develop materials and build a personal brand which inspires volunteers to participate in TLP events or to run their own fundraisers.   
7. Manage an exciting and engaging roster of annual events for volunteers and corporate fundraisers to participate in, including creating new events based on supporter data, as well as looking for ways to improve existing events and phasing out events where necessary.
8. Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, using data and supporter feedback to refine strategies, improve engagement, and encourage growth. 
9. Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to forecast income in community and corporate fundraising as well as setting budgets that enable us to deliver on ambitious targets whilst still delivering a competitive return on investment. 
10. Establish effective relationships across the staff and volunteer network which creates a culture that supports fundraising within TLP whilst also enabling volunteers to focus on TLP’s core mission and vision.
11. Build a dependable, detail-oriented team to support the administrative management of corporate, community and individual giving at The Listening Place whilst encouraging their development as TLP fundraisers in their own right.

Person specification

Essential requirements 

• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills able to translate TLP’s model into compelling materials and pitches. 
• Strong interpersonal skills - a relationship builder with a flexible, entrepreneurial approach, the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with donors, volunteers and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised - excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise own workload and multi task to meet targets and deliver events.
• Good understanding of event management including problem solving skills and an ability to adapt quickly when encountering obstacles.
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify trends, plan ahead and build clear plans based on data.
• Computer literate - familiar with common Office programmes and fundraising databases.
• Clear understanding of and ability to apply the legislation affecting corporate and community fundraising. 

Desirable 

• Successful track record of delivering community fundraising programmes and activities.
• Fundraising / marketing qualification.
• Experience of managing volunteers.

As Communications Manager, you will play a central role in shaping how London Youth engages with the audiences that matter most. Sitting within the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of London Youth's digital communications, ensuring our work, impact and voice reach young people, members, funders, partners and policymakers in compelling and meaningful ways. 

You will oversee London Youth's key digital channels, including social media, our website and newsletter marketing, ensuring they are engaging accessible and aligned with organisational priorities. Through strong editorial judgement, a creative mindset, and a clear understanding of our audiences, you will translate programmes, policy work and youth activities into clear, engaging communications that inspire action and strengthen London Youth's profile and influence. 

Working closely with colleagues across programmes, membership, policy, fundraising and our outdoor centres, you will help ensure the outcomes and impact of London Youth's work are effectively communicated throughout the year. You will support colleagues to plan and deliver communications activities that strengthen engagement with our network, build awareness of the youth sector, and support fundraising and partnership objectives. 

As a key brand guardian for the organisation, you will help embed London Youth's visual identity and tone of voice across the organisation and our network. Through guidance, training and collaboration, you will equip colleagues with the tools and confidence to communicate consistently and effectively on behalf of London Youth. 

You will also play a leading role in developing and improving London Youth's digital presence. By analysing performance and staying abreast of emerging digital trends, you will recommend new approaches to content, campaigns, and audience engagement that enhance the reach and effectiveness of our communications. 

Alongside demonstrating the value and impact of youth work in London, your work will help ensure London Youth remains a trusted, visible, and compelling voice for young people and the youth organisations that support them.

• Manage the planning and delivery of London Youth's day-to-day communications activity across our owned digital channels, including our social media platforms, website and newsletter communications to ensure they remain engaging and aligned with our priorities. 
• Support the development and delivery of London Youth's organisational communications strategy, helping to plan and coordinate communications activity across the year - managing the organisation's communications calendar to ensure key programmes, campaigns, policy activity and partnerships are effectively communicated to the right audiences. 
• Create and commission engaging digital content across formatsC, including social media assets, photography, blogs, video and web content. Through thoughtful editorial planning, you will identify opportunities to showcase the voices of young people, showcase our members' work, and demonstrate the impact of London Youth's programmes and partnerships. 
• Manage and development London Youth's website, working with colleagues to ensure content remains accurate, accessible, aligned with our priorities, and inspires action. You will oversee improvements to the website's structure, user experience and performance, working with external agencies to maintain and develop the platform. 
• Own our newsletter marketing and audience engagement activity, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop targeted communications that build and maintain strong relationships with members, supporters, partners and other stakeholders.
