We are looking for a Digital Learning and Engagement Lead to shape and deliver the digital experience for a UK-wide, government-funded programme supporting around 700 students entering the electronics and semiconductor sector.
You’ll be working within a small, collaborative charity delivering a high-impact national programme. This is not a traditional “content” or “platform admin” role.It is about designing an experience that students actively participate in, return to, and feel part of. You will take ownership of how digital engagement works across the programme, helping to create a connected, high-quality experience at national scale.

What you’ll be responsible for
You will own and evolve the digital learning and engagement experience, including:
Platform
- Leading the selection and implementation of a digital learning/engagement platform (LMS/LXP or similar)
- Configuring and managing the platform to ensure it is intuitive and effective
Engagement design
- Designing how students engage with learning content so that it drives participation, not just access
- Developing approaches that encourage students to return, interact and remain connected to the cohort throughout the programme lifecycle
Content and delivery
- Delivering and managing digital content, including webinars, recorded sessions and curated materials
- Structuring content in a way that supports ongoing engagement
Cohort experience
- Building a sense of community and belonging across a national cohort
- Encouraging interaction and participation beyond scheduled events
Insight and improvement
- Tracking engagement and understanding behaviour patterns
- Identifying drop-off points and introducing improvements
- Using data and feedback to continuously refine the experience
Collaboration
- Working closely with the Communications team to align with wider messaging and campaigns
- Collaborating with programme colleagues to connect digital and in-person activity
What we’re looking for
We are particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:
- Experience designing engaging digital or cohort-based experiences, communities or learning journeys
- A strong understanding of how to encourage ongoing participation and engagement across a distributed audience
- Experience working with digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP or similar), community platforms or digital engagement tools
- The ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving environment
- Confidence using data and insight to improve engagement
You might have developed this experience through roles in learning and development, digital engagement, community building, or product/platform roles.
Experience with cohort-based programmes, digital communities, or engagement analytics would be particularly valuable.

Bringing together our Community Education & Training provision and Employment & Careers services, the role is responsible for ensuring a cohesive offer that supports hundreds of individuals each year from community learning through to work.
A core element of our provision is the delivery of high-quality adult learning, including functional skills (English, maths and ICT), ESOL, community wellbeing, family learning, pathways to employment and selected vocational courses. Our services are shaped by both community need and funding priorities and continue to evolve in response to local demand and emerging opportunities.
Employment support also forms an integral part of our wider offer, both through embedded progression support within Adult Education provision and through separately funded programmes for priority groups, including younger jobseekers (18–24) and older residents (50+). This requires a flexible and responsive approach to programme development, partnership working and service delivery.
Our current provision is primarily funded through Lambeth Adult Learning and the Greater London Authority, with a combined annual budget of approximately £750,000 per year. A significant focus of the role will be overseeing the successful delivery of these contracts and services, ensuring high-quality provision, strong performance and meaningful progression outcomes for residents.

About the role
Are you an experienced and knowledgeable programme manager with a passion for supporting charities and under-represented communities to advocate for change?
Media Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on the delivery of two new communications capacity-building programmes - one focusing on charities tackling health inequalities and another focusing on people affected by the No Recourse to Public Fund (NRPF) immigration rule. Both programmes are aimed at enabling participants to safely and effectively engage with the media and advocate for change. You will be working directly with charities, communities and individual participants on both these programmes. You will also work with external trainers and media industry volunteers to deliver the training and related support.
Each programme will involve recruiting a cohort of storytellers, working with a series of external trainers to deliver workshops around understanding and engaging with the media and facilitating peer support workshops. You may also be required to lead small roundtables or convene meetings with sector partners as required.
Media Trust will be partnering with charities working on health inequalities and supporting migrants to deliver this work, including recruiting storytellers from across our networks and partner organisations as programme participants.
You will be responsible for designing and agreeing the delivery calendar with our funders and other key partners.You will also manage the recruitment for, and delivery of, these programmes. The outline training content has already been agreed - this role will involve working with trainers to ensure content is relevant to the needs of the cohorts and the objectives of each programme. You will also design and facilitate a series of monthly peer support sessions to support participants’ learning on the programmes. You will also manage impact evaluation for the programmes including designing and collecting responses to pre- and post-programme surveys from participants and sharing insights and learning from the programmes to help Media Trust design new work in these areas.
You will also support with other programmes and activity across Media Trust’s Charity Services team as required.
Please note this role is remote-based with regular events and meetings in London.

This is no ordinary desk job. As a Programmes Officer, you will play a key role in supporting HRF’s humanitarian and development programmes, helping secure vital funding and coordinating projects that create meaningful impact for vulnerable communities worldwide.
Working closely with field teams, donors, and partners, you will contribute to programme development, grant management, reporting, and strategic coordination across multiple country programmes. The role also includes opportunities for international travel to field locations, offering direct exposure to the communities and projects you support.
What You'll Be Doing
Under the management of the Head of International Programmes (HQ-based), the Programmes Officer will support the development and implementation of HRF’s programmes, with a strong focus on programme coordination, donor engagement, and fundraising. Key responsibilities include:
Grant Acquisition and Donor Coordination
- Develop concept notes, proposals, budgets, logical frameworks, and situation analyses.
- Identify new funding opportunities through donor platforms, clusters, and networking.
- Coordinate with colleagues to gather data required for proposal development.
- Represent HRF at relevant meetings and networking events.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to support project visibility.
Grant and Programme Management
- Review contracts, MOUs, and project documentation.
- Support project teams throughout the project cycle.
- Ensure projects comply with donor requirements, work plans, and budgets.
- Maintain communication with field offices, donors, and sector focal points.
- Lead the development of narrative and financial donor reports.
- Support donor visits, meetings, and external communications.
- Act as a focal point between HQ, donors, and field teams.
- Support MEAL teams in tracking project indicators.
- Ensure programme quality in line with HRF policies and SOPs.
Organisational Strategy and Growth
- Support the development and revision of organisational policies.
- Assist in supervising volunteers and interns.
- Support recruitment processes, particularly for field offices.
- Promote cross-learning and collaboration within the programmes department.
- Contribute to country-level strategic planning.
- Deliver staff capacity-building support where required.
Administrative Work
- Maintain and update HRF databases and records.
- Ensure proposal submission documents are accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date files and documentation.
Who we're looking for
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field; master’s degree desirable.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the humanitarian or development sector.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong report-writing skills.

- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Growing the individual giving base from a low starting point — developing supporter journeys, regular giving and stewardship
- Managing a grants pipeline and writing compelling applications to trusts and foundations
- Leading digital acquisition campaigns in partnership with the marketing team
- Line managing the Fundraising Administrator and helping them develop grant-writing skills over time
- Helping build a fundraising culture across the organisation where frontline staff feel part of the story
What we're looking for:
- A track record in community fundraising, individual giving or events fundraising
- Some experience of trusts and foundations — this doesn't need to be your primary specialism
- Strong written skills — the ability to translate real human stories into compelling fundraising copy
- A self-starter who works well with autonomy in a small team
- Genuine connection to Thrive's mission and the communities it serves
- Based in Somerset or within easy reach of Taunton — primarily home-based with approximately one day per week in the office

About the Role
Whitechapel Gallery is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Events Manager to lead the delivery of its full events programme, including fundraising galas, donor cultivation events, exhibition openings, private views and commercial venue hire.
This is a senior, business-critical role working closely with the Director of Development to deliver a high-profile programme of events that support fundraising, stakeholder engagement and commercial income generation.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive community and events fundraiser with great project management and relationship building skills. You’ll be responsible for leading on a varied portfolio of fundraising activity, identifying new supporters, stewarding existing supporters and delivering community fundraising products and campaigns.
Events and Community Fundraising is an established income stream at Breast Cancer UK but we know there is potential to grow, so we’re investing in proactively developing the area. This role is an opportunity for a talented fundraiser - with at least three years of experience working in Challenge Events and/or Community Fundraising and a strong track record of delivering results – to take a lead on these income streams and build something amazing. In the UK today, around 59,000 women and 420 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. 1 in 7 women will develop the disease at some point in their lives.
But we believe in a future where fewer people have to face this devastating disease - because we know that at least 30% of breast cancer cases are preventable.
By making changes to modifiable lifestyle and environmental risk factors, we can drive cases down. Our focus on prevention is unique - we are shining a light on the changes we can make at an individual and societal level to prevent breast cancer.
To achieve this, we:
- Deliver an education programme - empowering individuals with trustworthy, science-backed information and guidance to help them understand and reduce their risk.
- Fund research into the causes of breast cancer —while significant progress has been made in improving survival rates through new treatments, we are dedicated to ensuring fewer people ever receive a diagnosis.
