Reporting to the Digital Manager, you’ll be part of the Digital team, working alongside the Content & PR team and Campaigns & Marketing team.

You will be joining at an exciting time for the organisation. Following the recent merger of St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House with Martlets Hospice, and the appointment of a new CEO for the group, you will play a vital role in the Marketing & Communications team, managing a portfolio of websites which are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll be responsible for managing, developing and implementing a leading online presence for Southern Hospice Group with exceptional website experiences through secure, accessible and brand aligned websites and donation platforms. These will empower audiences and drive increased support for the charity.

Part of the role involves building strong internal relationships with colleagues in the team, as well as various key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure website content is optimised, up to date and aligned with the charity’s communications strategy, digital strategy and business plan. You will also work with external suppliers including website development agencies and platform developers.

As well as managing the websites, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a data driven, audience focused content strategy to enhance the online visibility of the hospice websites. You will manage the project to implement a new website for the organisation within the first few months in the role.

You’ll be able to demonstrate proven experience in website management, ideally at a non-profit, the ability to interpret and monitor data to deliver reports and a keen eye for design with experience in developing content and graphics for web. You’ll also need to be an excellent copywriter and proofreader.

Essential criteria

• Proven experience in website management, ideally in a non-profit environment.
• Editorial experience: adept in writing copy for web, adapting copy to suit the audience and tone required.
• Experience of WordPress, Shopify or other ecommerce platforms desirable.
• Experience of interpreting and monitoring Google Analytics and producing reports.
• Experience of delivering creative, user-led, and accessible web experiences for marketing and fundraising campaigns, in a busy environment.
• Skilled in developing graphics for web – Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign/Canva.
• Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice, SEO, accessibility, and mobile optimisation.
• Ideally, demonstrable working knowledge of A/B testing methodology.
• Excellent digital project management skills: delivers projects to brief, on time and to budget. Prioritise projects and tasks appropriately.
• Proven ability to think strategically and translate concepts into effective action plans.
• Knowledge of web regulations/standards and their application in a charity context.

Partnership and Strategy Manager - Western Forest

The Partnerships and Strategy Manager at Western Forest will be responsible for managing and nurturing partnership relations across the Western Forest area. This role ensures that all partners are supported and resourced to develop and deliver the collective vision of the forest, helping to achieve key targets. The manager will work closely with national and regional organisations, Local Planning Authorities (LPAs), landowners, corporate partners, and developers to create strategic plans, secure significant projects, and develop long-term collaborative relationships. They will also assist with funding applications and support the Western Forest Director in establishing new partnerships.

Salary: £36,750-40,171, with annual pay review

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bristol with the option of hybrid working. Travel and meetings across the Western Forest area and working at partner offices will also be required.

The Research Initiatives Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will work closely with senior clinicians to lead a series of projects and activities to feed into the development and delivery of child-health research initiatives. The initiatives include research awards, research events and research capacity and capability building, by embedding academic skills into the paediatric workforce and enabling academic research.

As Research Initiatives Manager, you will also lead on the RCPCH Genomics Programme which aims to develop and deliver a series of resources and activities related to supporting the preparedness of our membership for the era of genomics medicine.

Based within the Research and Evidence team, you will be the operational lead for relevant Committees and working groups, acting as a representative of the College to represent the views of paediatricians, whilst ensuring timely reporting of progress to Project Boards.

You will also build and develop relationships with external stakeholders and work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science, life sciences or genetics/genomics component, you should have a proven understanding of the national funding landscape and infrastructure for clinical research.

An expert at providing senior project leadership, you should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work, along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

With excellent organisational skills and an ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, and be capable of working autonomously and taking personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including data analysis, along with a background of organising workshops and events and an understanding of the genomic medicine landscape, would be desirable.

About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. The charity works with both community (charities/social enterprises) and commercial organisations to reach adults in their context of need.

Reporting to the Director of Workplace & Community Programmes and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate for this role will support the organisation and administration of our fully-funded Financial Wellbeing Workshops, our Specialist Programme for adults with Learning Difficulties, and other ad-hoc Community-oriented projects. Our Community Workshops and Programmes are delivered in partnership with organisations in a range of settings up and down the UK, with the participants being their beneficiaries or service users. As the Programmes Manager, you'll have the chance to shape the strategic development and long-term sustainability of a therapeutic and educational community garden, fostering a space where residents can learn about growing food, nature, and biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Community Engagement and Community Garden Programmes.
• Support programme development and engage in advocacy campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with funding deliverables and contractual obligations.
• Line manage and coach the Community Engagement Manager and Garden Manager.
• Support fundraising bids and budget oversight.
• Oversee the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning frameworks.
• Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure organisational compliance with safeguarding obligations.

 
About you
The Successful Candidate:
 

• Demonstrable experience in strategic programme management within community development, social impact, or environmental sectors.
• Strong project planning, reporting, and budget oversight capabilities.
• Experience working with diverse communities and commitment to inclusive, equitable practice.
• Track record in ensuring funding deliverables, outputs and outcomes are met as agreed.
• Ability to support bid-writers in developing compelling proposals and project budgets.

About The Role

This is an exciting role working within a pioneering new project, which will complement and support the work of the Pan-London Navigators in helping clients with an extensive history of rough sleeping to sustain accommodation in the community and build a new life away from the streets. It is an opportunity to develop your skills working in a dynamic environment within a highly experienced team.

In this role you will:

• Work alongside Navigators to support clients on the LNT cohort who are moving into tenancies to set up home, build independent living skills and establish meaningful connections to help them settle in their accommodation long-term
• Lead on pre-tenancy work and tenancy sustainment support, ensuring that clients are able to stay on top of their bills, benefits and other tenant responsibilities
• Organize “Community Club” outings with the rest of the Housing Led team to create an empowering and safe social space for residents to interact with each other

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.

The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in deepening the connections between the school and our alumni and parent community to inspire financial support. We are entering the early stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the school’s fundraising and engagement activity. As a team, we have a major role to play in shaping the future of the school’s bursary ambitions. Our success will widen access and support the futures and aspirations of disadvantaged young people within our local community, and beyond.

This is a fundraising position which involves leading on our operational effectiveness and developing effective communication techniques to help deliver the school’s philanthropic objectives. You will be required to assist the Director of Development in managing an effective portfolio of fundraising streams, securing regular giving donations, whilst also stewarding our donors effectively, creating innovative and compelling ways to demonstrate the impact of their philanthropic support.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will need to:

• Be able to demonstrate a track record of securing, administering, and stewarding gifts at any level, or experience in leading income generation activity through regular giving programmes within the charitable sector.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all constituents in the King’s community, including alumni, parents, and pupils to encourage lifelong engagement through participation, advocacy, and support.
• Be a great problem solver with the ability to work laterally to identify opportunities and provide solutions to fundraising challenges.
• Assist the Director of Development in prioritising prospects, through a thorough research strategy, leading the regular giving activity and helping to implement the development fundraising strategy to support the school’s vision and bursary ambitions.
• Demonstrate self-awareness and understand how to bring others with them to collectively make a contribution to our wider social aims.
• Work systematically and maintain the strong support ecosystem that is in place, including the identification, research, and management of supporters, donor stewardship and acknowledgement, gift administration and due diligence procedures.
• Demonstrate a high level of written and oral communication, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
• Show a passion for fundraising and the need to make giving more effective for all level of donors by demonstrating increased impact across all fundraising initiatives.
• Be able to work independently and effectively, is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to manage competing priorities both operational and strategic in nature.
• Be experienced in using donor and potential donor relationship management systems, for example Raiser’s Edge or Toucan Tech.
• Be a flexible and supportive team player, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is required.
