About the Role
Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week/ 24 months FTC
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Internal Audit to establish and lead a new, independent internal audit function at MAP. Reporting functionally to the Audit & Risk Governance Committee and administratively to the CEO, this role provides high-level assurance on the effectiveness of MAP’s governance, risk management, and control frameworks across both UK and international operations.
As a standalone position, the role will shape MAP’s internal audit vision, lead audits across all areas of the charity’s work (including field visits to oPt, Egypt, and Lebanon), and play a critical role in safeguarding MAP’s integrity, transparency, and performance.
About You
You’ll bring: A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIA, CMIIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Significant experience (5+ years) in internal audit or risk roles, with a track record of leading audits and engaging with senior leadership. Knowledge of UK charity regulation, compliance, and audit best practices.
Strong analytical, reporting, and influencing skills. Integrity, independence, and cultural sensitivity
Field experience or work in humanitarian or NGO settings is desirable, as is fluency in Arabic.

Job description - Partnerships and Income Manager
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Head of Commercial Services
Hours: Full or part-time hours considered, minimum 0.8 FTE
Start date: November 2025
Location: Home-based (travel costs paid for meetings)
Annual leave: 27 days FTE per annum plus Bank holidays (22 days FTE per annum under the Four Day Week)
Please note that at Waterwise we work a Four Day Week, under voluntary agreements which all staff members sign. This means that you will be contracted and paid as full-time but you will sign a voluntary agreement stating that you commit to employing efficiency tools both individual and team-wide to deliver and be paid for 5 days work within four normal 9 to 5 days - the office is closed on Fridays. Training will be provided and you will be expected to continue to refresh your training and to keep up use of the efficiency tools. Annual leave is also pro rata’d. On a 20 hours a week contract, you would be spending 16 hours a week at work including the equivalent of 2 one hour lunch breaks, and this can be worked in a flexible pattern, such as two full days or more, shorter days.

Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description
The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. Variety is looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the fundraising team as we are launching an exciting new multi-year partnership later this year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●Develop business leads to populate the corporate pipeline working with the new business manager, Director of Fundraising and CEO, for coordinating new business approaches

Purpose of Role
The Senior New Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in helping Comic Relief achieve its mission of a Just World Free from Poverty by securing transformational partnerships with trusts, foundations, and institutional funders (TFI). These high-value, long-term collaborations enable Comic Relief to scale its impact, reach new communities, and invest in sustainable, social change across the UK and globally.
Working closely with the Head of New Partnerships & Philanthropy, the postholder is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a strategy to secure and manage six- and seven-figure partnerships that generate significant restricted and unrestricted income. This includes developing compelling partnership propositions, managing complex negotiations, and ensuring alignment with Comic Relief’s funding strategy and social change objectives.

Advice Service Delivery Manager
The newly created Advice & Support Team plays a key role in delivering Battersea’s increased strategic focus on early intervention in the pet ownership journey. About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and experienced sports and challenge fundraiser, to deliver a review of our sports and challenge events programme, identifying new opportunities to grow our income.
Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and Fundraising Campaigns, you will develop strategies and bring new ideas to grow and develop this programme, potentially including community events – to deliver significant growth in income over the next 5 years.
In this feasibility review, you will analyse our past performance including in well-established, externally organised activities such as marathons and third-party challenge events, and our partner events such as the Terry Fox Runs. You will also assess the feasibility of developing and launching our own-branded events.
During the review, you will line-manage the Sports and Challenge Events Officer to maintain and deliver our current successful events programme and work together on the feasibility review to identify new opportunities for innovation and ways to increase participation.
You will build key relationships across the department and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, to identify and work through new ways to grow participation and increase fundraising income.
At the end of the review, you will present your findings, making recommendations on the key components for a future sports and challenge programme that reflect our ambitions for growth, with plans to deliver it.
This is initially a fixed term project contract. There is potential for the role to become permanent dependent on the direction and outcomes of the review.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will lead a review of our sports and challenge events programme, including third-party activities such as marathons and challenge events, using data to analyse past performance (income and ROI) and assess the feasibility for developing our own-brand sports, challenge or community events – whilst maintaining the success our current programme of activities.
You will:
- Review, develop and prepare plans to deliver a profitable, engaging and effective annual programmes of sports, challenge and community event opportunities.
