About the Role
The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will lead our services in our centre based at 12 Adelaide Street. The core purpose of these services is to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support people into treatment and accommodation options. This will include Centre Services, our Community, Street Engagement and case work teams. You will also lead the delivery of any short-term emergency accommodation including SWEP and hotel provision.
This opportunity comes at a particularly exciting time as the Connection looks to ambitiously develop our work at Adeliade Street into a hub of harm reduction and health inclusion for people rough sleeping in Westminster. As the Head of Rough Sleeping Services, you will lead the exciting strategic and operational work to deliver this, and have the chance to be part of a centre that aims to be a nationally recognised example of innovative practice.
The role requires someone with a strong track record in service delivery with people who have complex needs. They must have experience of trauma informed care and similar associated practice. Alongside ensuring high quality service delivery, they must have experience of developing new approaches, building relationships with statutory services and working with fundraising specialists to secure resources. The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will be a well organised and focused manager who uses coaching techniques to develop their team. Finally, they must be a positive role model with the personal credibility to build confidence in the charity both internally and externally.

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
This is an exciting time to join Girls Not Brides as we are currently in the process of reviewing our strategy for the next 5 years. The Senior Officer- Executive Office plays a vital role in providing high-level strategic, operational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is central to the smooth functioning of the CEO’s office, enabling the CEO to focus on leading the organisation effectively and with impact. In addition to supporting the CEO directly, the Senior Officer- Executive Office will also play a key role in facilitating the CEO’s engagement with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. You will be proactive and independent: an instinctive problem-solver with experience in designing and deploying easy-to-use systems and processes to support effective communication and project delivery within and beyond senior leadership, the Board, and wider team members.
You will support leadership to prioritise projects and tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment. Strategic and Project Management

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential experience
- A minimum of 7 years extensive professional experience in a similar role working directly with a high-performing leadership team and Board.
- Significant experience managing Board and governance processes, documentation, and communication flows.
- Strong track record in internal communications processes for diverse, multi-cultural teams.
- Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Exceptional and demonstratable experience with or knowledge of project management tools/ software and management systems and procedures.
- Strong ability to be proactive and take initiative.

Role purpose
You will be a seasoned communications leader with the skills and experience of overseeing a modern, efficient and dynamic communication function to achieve tangible outcomes for people affected by bipolar. The post holder will play a pivotal role in growing Bipolar UK’s brand awareness, contributing to the wider goal of achieving a £3m+ annual turnover so we can provide peer support to even more people affected by bipolar. In autumn 2025 Bipolar UK will be hitting two major milestones, launching both a new website and a high-profile campaign: ‘Could it be bipolar?’ to speed up diagnosis from the average 9.5 years it currently takes. You will be responsible for leading these projects in 2026 and beyond.
Specific Responsibilities
Overall:
- Lead the charity’s external communications, brand, and public-facing resources.
- Manage and support delivery of the charity’s external communications and marketing strategy to increase engagement with existing and new audiences and continue to improve the charity’s profile.
- Line manage and support our Senior Communications Officer, Senior Marketing Officer, Senior Website Officer and Senior Public Policy Officer.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003. Each year, more than 200 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide or suicide or sudden death following domestic abuse. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after fatal domestic abuse.

UCAN Enfield is a consortium led by Age UK Enfield, with delivery partners from One to One, Mind in Enfield and Barnet, Wellbeing Connect, Bread n Butter, Cooking Champions and Middlesex Association for Blind.
We offer a range of services and activities to promote health and wellbeing and independence to residents aged 18+ who may be affected by sensory loss, autism, mental health conditions, long-term health conditions, and people whose voices are seldom heard.
Our specialist programme has been designed to be inclusive for all, and includes healthy eating and nutrition, cookery workshops, exercise and wellbeing groups. We also deliver peer support groups and lead the Adult Autism Hub.
Duties will include:
- Working alongside UCAN Enfield partners to co-produce and support the delivery of a programme of health and wellbeing sessions in the community that meet a range of needs from general population to specific conditions
- Attending community activities to meet new potential referrals and engage with participants.

Summary of the role
The Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser will develop and lead on strategies to grow two vital income streams. This role will be instrumental in ensuring long-term sustainability for ADSS by inspiring supporters to leave a gift in their will or donate in memory of a loved one.
Main purpose of job
The Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser will lead the development and implementation of strategies to grow income from gifts in wills and in-memory donations. With a focus on both acquisition and engagement, this role is centred on building meaningful, compassionate relationships with supporters—encouraging them to consider leaving a legacy or making a donation in tribute to someone special. Through sensitive communication, targeted campaigns, and thoughtful stewardship, the fundraiser will support individuals in honouring their values or the memory of a loved one, while generating essential long-term income to sustain and advance the charity’s work.

· Develop and implement a legacy fundraising strategy to increase pledges and confirmed legacy gifts.
