We're looking for a Head of Fundraising with a focus on Trusts and Foundations to help take our income generation to the next level. The person in this role will lead and grow our income from major trusts and foundations, overseeing our existing portfolio while actively developing new, strategic opportunities.
This is a key leadership role in a small but ambitious fundraising team, with a focus on securing large-scale, multi-year grants. You'll write compelling bids and proposals, steward relationships with funders and senior stakeholders, and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to shape exciting, fundable projects.

About the Role
This is an exciting new role which will help the Methodist Church in Britain to embed in the life of churches its commitment to be justice-seeking.
In 2024, the Church adopted a Strategy to embed the Methodist Conference’s Justice-Seeking Church Report in local churches, across the Connexional Team and throughout the life of Methodism.
The Justice-Seeking Church Officer will shape and develop this work across all levels of the Church in creative and innovative ways, identifying opportunities and responding to challenges. They will strengthen leadership for justice across churches, and enable collaboration across programmes and issues. They will enable theological reflection and will lead on shaping the vital emerging work around participation of people with lived experience of poverty.
You will be a member of the Justice Team but work collaboratively with many others. You will also be part of the wider Mission Team, playing a key role in the implementing its strategy in response to Our Calling and the Methodist Way of Life.
In this post, you will focus on the following priorities:
- Developing and embedding key areas of the Justice-Seeking Church strategy in churches and the Methodist Connexional Team
- Strengthening leadership in social justice and social action
- Developing opportunities for faith formation and theological engagement

Fundraising Officer Job Description
Key Responsibilities Fundraising and Finance:
- To carry out and contribute to the fundraising strategy
- Write comprehensive and compelling funding applications to Trusts and Foundations, tailoring them to meet a range of criteria
- To research and develop new funders to support the achievement of fundraising goals
- Build, nurture and maintain positive relationships with current funders, corporates and donors by stewarding them well.

The Campaigns and Communications Lead will play a key role in the Campaign for Hope strand of the project, as well as supporting other project strands. About the role
This is a new role created at IRMO to strengthen how we measure, understand and communicate our impact. It sits at the heart of a learning-focused, community-led organisation working for migrant rights and social justice. We are open to hiring at either Officer or Lead level, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) who can take the lead in reviewing our current MEL systems and practices, identifying what’s working well and where there’s room for improvement. The Access is Justice Foundation is seeking a Grants Officer who will join our Grants Team to provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our grant making activity, working alongside others in the Grants Team. You will maintain relationships with funded partners; undertake analysis of grants data, draft documents, reports, and communication materials; and provide ongoing support for our funding programmes and broader organisational work as needed. What you’ll do
Since 2019, we have been building a cross-cutting thematic programme using our investor accountability, corporate engagement and public policy toolkit to build a movement to harness the power of the investment system to address commercial determinants of health.
In 2022, we launched Long-Term Investors in People’s Health (LIPH), a cross-cutting programme of work leveraging our toolkit of investor accountability, corporate engagement and policy advocacy. It is one of ShareAction’s largest programmes. Since the launch of LIPH, we have run high-profile campaigns to get large food manufacturers and retailers to improve their health disclosures and sell healthier products via our Healthy Markets Initiative (HMI); recently set up a Clean Air Initiative (CAI); mobilised investors to engage with corporates, the UK government, and standard-setting bodies on issues such as clean air and sick leave policies; and partnered with academics to grow the evidence base on the financial materiality of health. We have ambitious plans to take this work forward and are looking for a new Head of the team to help us do so.
As Head of Health, you will:
- Oversee and contribute to the successful implementation of ShareAction’s strategy to tackle poor health via its LIPH programme, a cross-cutting programme of work leveraging our toolkit of investor accountability, corporate engagement and policy advocacy.
- Lead and motivate a team of 10 staff members and directly line manage at least three of them.
- Ensure adequate risk management and monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes are in place.
- Together with the Fundraising team and Co-Director of Corporate Engagement, be responsible for securing funding for the LIPH programme, including writing funding bids, supporting with relationship management, supporting the coordination of our Funders’ Governance Group, and helping produce update reports.
- Plan, manage and report on budget for the LIPH programme, delegating workstream and campaign budgets where there are appropriate leads.
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior external stakeholders, including funders, journalists, investors, and civil society organisations.
- Act as one of ShareAction’s subject matter experts on commercial determinants of health, keeping your knowledge up to date with developments across academia, civil society, and public policy.
- Act as a media spokesperson for the team and represent it in internal and external forums.
- Work with peers at the “Head of” level to play a leadership role across ShareAction.

RSVP management

Relationship management

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

Job Purpose
The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include delivering programme and network activities, managing local hubs, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities led by the Partnerships Team.
Working closely with school and trust leaders and hub managers, you will need excellent relationship management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, organised, detail-focused, and strong communicators.
We are looking for new colleagues to focus on delivering our programmes and networks, ensuring a great experience for our partner schools (about 60-80% of your time). The remaining time will be spent on hub account management, supporting knowledge exchange and network growth, and handling general partner queries.
Key Responsibilities
Programme and Network Delivery:
- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.
- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.
- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.
- Monitor programme, network, and hub data to identify risks and/or trends, providing regular reports and updates to support the continuous improvement of our activities.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Work with the Challenge Partners Central Team to ensure an excellent experience for partners and help schools maximise their partnership value.
- Support the induction and onboarding of new schools to their hubs and the National Network of Excellence.
- Troubleshoot and respond to school or trust queries through internal customer care systems.
- Utilise and update our CRM system (Salesforce).
Communications:
- Respond to email and phone queries about Challenge Partners, programmes, networks, and hubs professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with programme, network, and partnership leads to provide high-quality communications to partner schools, including renewals, induction, onboarding, engagement emails, and hub updates.
Recruitment and Retention:
- Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.
- Provide updates on schools in your hub to inform retention campaigns.
- Manage leads within your hubs, connecting schools with local hubs and Jubilee Networks.

High computer literacy - confidence and competence in using GSuite, Microsoft programmes and Salesforce (or similar CRM system) would be an advantage
