The Finance Assistant will support the Senior Finance Manager and Finance and Operations Director. They will be responsible for all aspects of sale, purchase and nominal ledger, credit control, payments and various reconciliations. General management account duties will also be required

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the shared inbox and respond to queries to internal and external contacts in a timely and courteous manner.
• Log purchase invoices into the finance system and request authorisation from budget holders, ensuring that documentation is complete and correct.
• Issue all sales invoices and maintain funders invoicing schedule.
• Request and reconcile supplier statements.
• Ensure finance policies are followed for the set-up of new customers and suppliers.
• Support internal team with expense reimbursements, including maintaining the expenses software and relevant reconciliations. Follow up on missing documentation or evidence of non-compliance.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and issue remittance advices.
• Issue statements to customers and regular credit control activities.
• Check ledgers for missing costs. Identify and resolve missing costs or discrepancies in ledgers.
• Complete reconciliations to ensure payments are allocated and accounted for correctly.
• Reconciliations between the Salesforce and accounting system Assist with month-end and other management accounts functions.
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks, such as posting journals, payroll and annual audit.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, this role supports the planning, delivery, and monitoring of campaigns that inform, support, and connect the cleft community in the UK. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a good understanding of digital communications and a passion for community engagement. Manchester Histories are seeking a highly motivated project manager to lead the ‘This is Us’ project, ensuring it meets its objectives within scope, time, and budget. You will coordinate stakeholders, volunteers, artists, and community groups, oversee programming, manage budgets, and support the engagement of diverse audiences, with a strong focus on inclusion, representation, and the sensitive navigation of complex histories and legacies. 

This is Us: Tracing Manchester’s Histories seeks to reshape and redefine how Manchester’s public realm reflects its rich and diverse history. Building on insights from extensive public consultations, the project will amplify underrepresented voices and confront complex legacies, including those tied to migration, the transatlantic slave trade and industrial exploitation.

By fostering collaboration among community groups, academic institutions, cultural partners and local authorities, the initiative will create an inclusive digital platform for storytelling and dialogue.

Through digital innovation and community-driven activities, the project will celebrate overlooked stories, support learning, and ensure accessibility for all. The project will empower communities to actively engage with their heritage, fostering pride and a shared sense of belonging. Ultimately, it aspires to transform public spaces into more accurate and inspiring reflections of Manchester’s diversity, making a lasting contribution to cultural equity and inclusivity.

The Office and Services Coordinator (OSC) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across The Winch and Belsize Community Library. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for delivering a warm and welcoming front-of-house experience for visitors, including children, young people, staff, tenants, and contractors. Your main responsibilities will include managing room hire bookings to ensure a positive customer experience, overseeing ordering supplies and managing equipment and handling queries, phone calls, and mail correspondence with professionalism. We are looking for a visionary and strategic Digital Movement Building Strategist to lead our digital organising, narrative change, and storytelling work at Power to Prosper. Reporting to the Programme Director, this role is central to shaping how our growing movement shows up publicly, connects across communities, and drives forward our mission for economic and racial justice.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a digital strategy that builds visibility, deepens engagement, and inspires collective action across regions. You will oversee the integration of community-led storytelling, digital engagement tools, and organising infrastructure to strengthen our distributed movement model. Working closely with a small creative team and grassroots partners, you will ensure that Power to Prosper's digital presence is bold, values-driven, and rooted in the lived experience of the communities we work with.

Development Support

• To design training and support to grow internal capacity across the charity in how to get the best out of our communications and social media tools.
• Monitor departmental social media and communications output and help shape their approaches to messaging what their services do and to whom.
• Develop plans, campaigns and promotional activity based on an understanding of the charity’s values, it target audiences and its strategic priorities for growth and sustainability.

The National Landscapes Association represents the UK’s 46 National Landscapes – legally protected places where nature and people thrive together. We lead and champion action to protect and restore these special landscapes for the benefit of everyone.

We’re looking for a Data and Evidence Officer to support our work on the Gower Landscape Connections project and across the wider Association. If you’re passionate about using data to tackle the climate and nature crises, and can turn complex information into powerful insight, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be responsible for sourcing, analysing and mapping ecological, climate and socio-economic data to inform practical conservation planning. Working closely with the Gower team, as well as the Association’s Nature-based Solutions programme, you’ll help develop systems that drive landscape-scale action. You’ll also play a central role in maintaining and evolving our GIS tools, supporting bids for major nature recovery funding.

We’re looking for someone with experience handling both statistical and spatial data, who communicates clearly and can collaborate across teams. You should be as comfortable working with detailed evidence as you are thinking strategically about long-term impact.
