Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is seeking a proactive and compassionate Care Navigation Coordinator to lead a small team supporting older people as they transition from hospital back to the community. Based at the ICN Unit at Orpington Hospital, you will work closely with NHS colleagues and local services to ensure people on the Proactive and Frailty pathways receive the non-medical support they need to stay independent and well.

This is a varied and people-centred role, combining direct patient contact with service coordination and staff supervision. You will hold guided conversations with patients, identify support needs, liaise with professionals in health and social care, and ensure that care plans are holistic and person-centred. You'll also support and supervise a small team of Care Navigators and help shape the service through team meetings and collaborative working.

We are looking for someone who is confident working across teams and settings, with strong communication and organisational skills, a working knowledge of health and social care, and a genuine commitment to supporting older people.

Waking Night Behavioural Specialist Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

The shift pattern for this role: 21:30-07:30 10 hour night shift two nights a week

What you'll do:
* Building a supportive, trusting relationship with the customer and creating a positive atmosphere.
* Supporting the customer in their preferred night-time routine, including personal care, and promoting good sleep hygiene.
* Supporting the customer to undertake activities in line with their preferences.
* Ensuring the customer's safety and wellbeing at night, providing emotional and practical support and reassurance as needed.
* Using positive behavioural support and Autism-specific approaches to manage any distress during night-time hours.

We are seeking an experienced, driven and passionate Head of Public Fundraising to lead the mass fundraising team to achieve sustainable income growth over the coming years. This includes investment to grow the public fundraising team, develop new fundraising products, recruit new supporters, and increase legacy giving through targeted campaigns. 

We are also in the process of developing our new 5-year fundraising strategy, so you will be instrumental in creating an ambitious new plan to develop a diverse and sustainable mass fundraising portfolio, covering the key areas of donor acquisition, retention, and growth, with a focus on maximising our Challenge and Community events portfolio, and increasing Legacy, In Memory and Regular giving.  You will be responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of products to grow voluntary income, whilst leading a newly expanded and ambitious team. And you will help shape our data strategy, working with the Head of Digital and other colleagues across the organisation to develop our digital fundraising strategy; embed usage of our CRM and ensure GDPR compliance.

Requirements - Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience of strategic leadership and oversight of a mass fundraising product portfolio.
• Proven experience of managing an engaging Community and Challenge Events fundraising portfolio.
• Proven experience of driving Legacy and In Memory giving to create a robust long-term pipeline. Experience of successfully developing and implementing legacy marketing strategies.
• Proven experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multichannel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter recruitment channels. 
• Experience of fully integrating a CRM database as a tool in the day-to-day work and running of a charity. 
• Demonstrable experience of managing a high performing team, focussing on creating a culture where people thrive as individuals and can be their best selves.

Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
• To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
• To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
• To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
• To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
• To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis via a drop-in service.

The Role

The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. The role will include implementing a smooth running of the service including facilitating debriefing and providing senior support onsite. The role of the team manager is non-clinical.

About the role 

We are looking for a Senior Business Support Officer to support the Chief Finance and Operating Officer in the overall management of the function. You’ll have ownership of regular Operations Leadership Team (OLT) meetings and support our leaders in reporting to OLT, the Senior Leadership and Executive Teams, and Trustees.

A key part of the role will be support for effective and efficient governance, working closely with colleagues across Operations to optimise and support.

What you'll do

• Support the CFOO in the overall management of the Operations directorate, including administrative support for the CFOO.

• Understanding the business calendar, reporting and meeting structures and developing and maintaining excellent systems to ensure the Operations team meet and support all organisational deadlines.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the charity including strategy, key projects, initiatives, clients and stakeholders.

• Support the CFOO in the preparation of formal papers for SLT and ELT meetings, and for trustee board and subcommittee meetings.

• Overseeing the collection and reporting of departmental performance indicators.

About the Role:

As a Caseworker you will deliver a specialist enhanced service to all young victims of crime. You will be responsible for:

• Delivering support to young victims of crime using appropriate service guidance and policy framework.
• Developing and enhancing local key stakeholder relationships.

We are looking for a team manager to lead the delivery of our frontline interventions and support services across stalking, child-to-parent violence and abuse, and our flagship ANCHOR project. You will supervise and support a team woring across complex risk and trauma, ensuring survivors are heard, believed, and empowered to make decisions on their terms.
