Purpose of the role

To develop and deliver Brook’s Education and Wellbeing work with young people, to support and facilitate online training sessions for professionals and Parents, ensuring effective delivery against commissioned contracts as well as programmes that generate additional income for Brook. Bank Staff will facilitate training for adults, parents and carers and may be required to liaise with Social Care and Police, work within multi agency teams and coordinate Safeguarding concerns and referrals.

Role Summary

The main function of the School Engagement Coordinator role is to

• The School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland serves as a crucial liaison for the Into Film programme in the region. This role involves actively engaging with schools and educators to promote and support their participation in various initiatives related to film, games, and creative media.
• The Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring that schools and teachers have access to the full range of educational resources, training, and opportunities offered by Into Film. They will collaborate closely with the Northern Ireland team to provide tailored support and foster meaningful connections between schools, the creative arts, and the industry.

Given the nature of the role, the Co-ordinator may need to work occasional weekends and extended hours, as well as travel regularly to designated regions and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Proactively engage with schools, teachers, and educational stakeholders across Northern Ireland to raise awareness of Into Film's programmes and resources.
• Deliver a range of educational activities, including school workshops, screenings and industry events, tailored to the needs of the local area.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools, creative organisations, and screen industry bodies to support the delivery of Into Film's initiatives in NI.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of Northern Ireland-specific programmes, including Story Builder, Games, Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Young Creatives.
• Collaborate with teams across Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach to programme delivery, KPI achievement, and budgetary oversight.

About the Service

This service sits within our Complex Needs and Community Services and are informal drop-in group for Refugees and Asylum Seekers. The groups centre on improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of refugees and asylum seekers, providing these individuals with a safe space to connect with peers. To help these individuals engage with diverse creative activities and develop their confidence and self-esteem whilst helping them integrate into Hertfordshire and the UK.

Service Objectives

• To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
• Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
• To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
• To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.

Key Responsibilities:

Retina UK is a national charity based in Buckingham that funds cutting edge research into inherited sight loss conditions and offers dedicated support and information to the thousands of people living with these conditions.

We are looking for the right person to support, develop and coordinate a variety of areas of activity within the Income Generation team.

Key responsibilities:

* Assist with the administration and stewardship of supporters across the various income areas and maintain and improve supporter retention and engagement. Areas to support with will include: Community Fundraising, Trading, Challenge Events, Lottery, Legacies and Major Donors.

* Provide an exemplary stewardship programme for existing supporters whilst also developing new ideas to engage new supporters.

* Utilise the charity database, carry out regular analysis, generate reports as requested, ensure records and folders are accurate and up to date and provide regular feedback to the Head of Income Generation.

* Conduct regular supporter research, as requested, to ensure Retina UK remains innovative with its fundraising activities.

* Ensure that our webpages are regularly updated with new events, ways of getting involved, photographs, case studies and impact quotes.

* Liaise with venues, supporters, exhibitors and attendees ahead of fundraising events and activities, including our Conferences, Sight Village and key challenge events, including London Marathon.

* Thank supporters in the appropriate manner and update and refresh supporter letter templates quarterly to effectively communicate the value of donor contributions. Mix up our thanking methods – calls, letters, emails – as appropriate.

* Take a proactive approach in guiding supporters and potential fundraisers on how they can be involved with Retina UK.  Offer clear advice on fundraising opportunities and ensure incoming enquiries are directed to relevant activities that align with their interests and needs, by staying up to date on our products and ways they get can involved.

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.

About the opportunity

As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across multiple social impact projects. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is the Single Homelessness Prevention Service (SHPS) which is a programme that prevents the next generation of rough sleepers.

The programme supports people to sustain an existing tenancy by negotiating with landlords/ family members, or providing coaching to empower people to do so. Where needed, we help them to find and secure a new home, typically in the private rented sector. SHPS services also seek to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness by preventing the escalation of the homelessness journey to crisis point.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include.

· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.

· Manage all Power BI reporting tables and system with support from central teams.  

· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.

· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.

· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,

· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.

· Work with system developer to manage system changes and improvements.

· Lead the set-up of a new database and associated new contract mobilisation activities.

· Provide research and data to support the development of new interventions. 

· Produce monthly board packs for programmes and provide minutes of meetings.

·  Support bid submissions with development and growth leads.

· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

The FIGO Fistula Surgery Training Initiative (FSTI) project has been in existence for 10 years and in that time has become recognised as a key global project, instrumental in delivering capacity building and improved healthcare outcomes for women, with an emphasis on the global south. After 10 years the senior project manager has stepped down and FIGO are seeking to use this as an opportunity to review the project delivery model.

The Interim Senior Project Manager role will lead the FIGO Fistula Project on an interim basis and be responsible for the ongoing delivery of the project during that period. In addition, they will be expected to review the project delivery model, ensuring that the project aligns to best practice and delivers in the most effective and efficient manner possible for the future, whilst ensuring agreed project outcomes.

• Support up to five projects of different scales and size, all of them important to the Westway Trust.

• You will support a new Economic Development Project and an Archiving project, both for at least one day a week. These projects will be newly designed and you will be part of this working with the project managers and community members.  This will involved taking meeting notes; circulating information; collecting and processing data and processes relating to payments of project related invoices; liaising on all aspects of project administration, scheduling and reporting.
• You will nurture positive relationships and information flow within the project groups.

Purpose
This vital role works alongside the Head of Philanthropy to help build and grow our philanthropic partnerships over the next five years and beyond. As well as building upon current relationships, you will identify, research and cultivate relationships with charitable Trusts and Foundations as well as major donors to raise both restricted and unrestricted income.

Responsibilities and areas of work
This important role will focus primarily on Trust Fundraising but will also encompass Major Donor Fundraising. It will seek to identify new high-level donors, as well to develop existing relationships with our generous supporters. Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, other team members and external consultants, and in collaboration with our colleagues in the
Programmes Team, the Senior Philanthropy Officer will focus on building our trust portfolio – with a focus on donors giving £5k - £100k per year

1. New business acquisition:
a) Researching new individuals and trusts to build a prospect list for future funders, using our database (Salesforce), available lists and external databases. Assessing the potential for active, lapsed and prospective donors to support CBM and recording accordingly.
b) Recommending tactical next steps for engagement with new individuals and trusts, for approval by the Head of Philanthropy.
2. Stewardship and cultivation of current and active donors:
a) Developing and implementing tailored stewardship plans, so that individuals / trusts are engaged in a bespoke manner, and that application and reporting deadlines are met.
b) Leading on the production and submission of applications, proposals and initial approaches (by post, email and, to a lesser degree, phone) and following up as required.
c) Reporting to donors in a formal or informal way, as appropriate, to ensure they are kept up to date with CBM and project developments                                                                                                                                                               d)Organising, facilitating and attending face-to-face and online meetings with high-level donors/ trusts, including organising dates and venues, and creating Meeting Briefs for all attendees to ensure positive outcomes.

3. Proposal and Report Writing
a) Designing and crafting compelling proposals, reports, project timelines and budgets that meet the bespoke needs of donors whilst meeting the needs of CBM and our Programme delivery colleagues, within agreed deadlines.
b) Working with members of the Programmes Team to ensure the accuracy of proposals /reports, and with members of the Fundraising & Communications Team to ensure consistency of messaging.
c) Working with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team to develop new projects/ themes/
appeals for potential projects.

4. Other Team Responsibilities:
a) Helping to develop the Annual Forecast Budget for the Team, and providing updates on the pipeline and progress against targets.
b) Ensuring all information, donor activity is recorded and kept up-to-date on our database to fully-inform any approaches / meetings.
c) Providing proof-reading and copy-editing support to colleagues.
d) Monitoring the activity of related organisations and the fundraising sector, identifying changes, predicting trends and making recommendations as necessary.
e) Helping to develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM, and promoting positive working and innovation.
f) Ensuring that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

Rights & Security International (RSI) is setting up a new basic immigration advice service for migrants most in need of urgent, free advice and casework. Our research indicates that Northern Ireland is an immigration advice desert, with not enough free, high-quality immigration advice to serve its diverse population. 

The focus of this project will be advising people who otherwise have no access to legal advice and support. 

We will offer basic immigration advice for the pilot version of this project and aim to begin with a small number of clients before gradually expanding.

• At least two years of experience giving immigration advice and a good knowledge of immigration and asylum law. 

• Experience in professional, independent and impartial service delivery.

The ADSHG is a well-established UK charity supporting people with Addison’s and adrenal insufficiency through its website, social media reach and member services.   Addison’s disease is a form of adrenal insufficiency and is a rare endocrine condition affecting 1:10,000, and both genders. Whilst treatable with time-critical daily medication, individuals with adrenal insufficiency are at risk of potentially life-threatening adrenal crisis, which occurs when physical or emotional triggers mean that prescribed medication no longer meets the body’s need for cortisol.  Adrenal crisis is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated in a short period of time.  Addison's and adrenal insufficiency are not widely understood, even within the medical community.
