Job Title: Individual Giving Officer
• Department: Fundraising
• Reports to: Head of Fundraising
• Responsible for: Individual Giving
• Working Hours: 23.25 hours per week. 15-month contract
1. Purpose of the Role
• Working with the Head of Fundraising develop programmes for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters.
• Maximise income across channels including direct mail, email, social media. Working with other team members to deliver this.
• Grow income stream from individual giving products such as appeals, raffles, lotteries and other individual giving products, such as our Pet Pen Sponsorship.
• Develop budgets and business plans and contribute to fundraising strategy.
• Manage and optimise supporter experience for retention, engagement, and cross-marketing.
• Analyse appeal results for continual improvement.
2. Principle Tasks
• Oversee the annual individual giving fundraising calendar and campaigns from start to finish.
• Plan and manage direct marketing and digital appeals, including supplier coordination.
• Conduct market research and maintain awareness of trends to inform innovation.
• Prepare budgets and monitor performance.
• Develop donor recruitment campaigns.
• Develop supporter journeys.
• Develop warm programmes.
• Write fundraising copy, providing guidance on design to artworkers. Work with local studio artists and internal staff to produce final materials.
• Coordinate with PR, comms, and other departments on campaign messaging and execution.
• Analyse campaign performance and produce evaluation insights.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Protection law, DMA, and fundraising codes of practice.

We are looking for an experienced Media and PR Manager to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. The successful candidate will have developed a strong news sense, either as a journalist or from working in a media engagement role within a broader communications team. They will also be able to use their media and PR skills to spot opportunities in the UK news agenda to secure high-quality media coverage that influences decision-makers in the social affairs space. About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Corporate Partnerships Team. Reporting into the Corporate Partnerships Manger, the post holder will work with the Corporate Partnerships Team to deliver the corporate fundraising strategy.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships, stewarding supporters, organising and managing corporate events as well as supporting with content for corporate partner communications.
Key Responsibilities will include:
To assist the Corporate Partnerships Team in delivering against their financial and non-financial targets as specified within the corporate fundraising strategy.
Income generation.
- Management of your own portfolio of corporate accounts which includes providing outstanding donor stewardship to maximise supporter experience, engagement and funds raised.
- To work together as a team to grow corporate fundraising income through current partnerships and new business approaches, as agreed with the Head of Corporate Partnerships.
- Utilise the CRM database to maintain accurate records for data segmentation and for income and other KPI reporting purposes.
- Create funding reports for external partners when required.
- Support and attend third-party corporate events as well as wider charity events.
- Keep up to date with fundraising trends.
Communication and stewardship
- Work with the Corporate Fundraising Manager and Marketing Team to develop a communication plan for corporate accounts.
- Interact with corporate partners on social media, as well as creating content for platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Create stewardship/development plans for corporate partners.
- Create and deliver presentations to raise awareness of the work of the Charity.
- Deliver tours of the hospital to supporters autonomously.
Other Duties
- Be an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity in line with the core values of the organisation.
- To act as a spokesperson for the charity when required, including representing at external events as appropriate
- Be an active and supportive member of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity team, contributing to the team’s development and working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers. Attend and support events run by the fundraising teams where required.
- Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the charity’s work, priorities and future plans and act as a spokesperson for the Charity when required, including representing at external events as appropriate.

Westway CT is a non-profit social enterprise tackling isolation and creating community in West London through the provision of transport services and dedicated drivers offering a lifeline for community groups, older people, and anyone facing challenges using public transport across Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and Hammersmith & Fulham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager who, reporting to the CEO, will play a key role in the running of two interconnected entities; a registered society, and its trading arm, which supports and subsidises their charitable aims. In so doing, the successful candidate will be helping to lead the way in a sustainable community benefit model that creates its own income by being part of the wider London transport mix, contributing to the local economy and working towards better air quality.
With line management responsibility of the Finance Officer, you will be an accredited qualified accountant, preferably with non-profit sector experience, with the ability to lead on the financial management of the organisation.
The Finance Manager is accountable for:
- Financial strategy and planning

- Be able to conduct financial scenario planning and cost analysis to proactively contribute to the strategic and operational planning and improvement of the organisation (i.e. in the case of investments and capital assets, grant applications, contract tendering, customer pricing, and credit control.)
- Be an efficient, highly organised team player with good communication skills, working effectively with internal colleagues, external stakeholders and suppliers of varying financial experience.
- Provide excellent line management and role modelling for your reports and colleagues to encourage professional development.
- An accredited qualified accountant (ACCA) (CIMA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably within the non-profit sector
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Sage 50, Quickbooks and/or another similar accounting software

About the role
As the Specialist Social Worker, you will lead the “Serving Women, Never Battle Alone” initiative. This pioneering project provides personalised, confidential advice, practical and emotional support, and advocacy for serving women in the military who are experiencing bullying, harassment, or sexual abuse. The service is available across the UK and open to women in both the Regular and Reservist Armed Forces.
The project is a brand-new service and will be a UK wide first for the Armed Forces. You will have the ability to shape a service that offers a specific service to females in the military, using data and ongoing casework to enhance support structures and ensure that women are truly ‘Safe to Serve’.
The role will involve travel to deliver in-person support to individuals accessing the service, which may include emotional and physical assistance in engaging with relevant authorities, in line with their wishes.
As the Specialist Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering support and guidance through a Single Point of Contact (SPOC), responding to serving women who reach out to the service, and raising awareness and understanding of the initiative both within SSAFA and among external stakeholders.
About the team
The role sits within the Social Care Directorate, under the broader Safeguarding Team, and reports directly to the Principal Safeguarding Officer (PSO). While you will be the sole practitioner delivering the project, you will have ongoing support from the PSO. Additionally, the Specialist Social Worker will sit on SSAFA’s Safeguarding Board who meet quarterly.
The role involves collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including the Ministry of Defence (MOD), individual service branches, wider SSAFA teams, and other charitable organisations.
About you
We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to take on this important role within SSAFA. Ideally, you will have a background in supporting individuals affected by trauma, experience within military environments or safeguarding teams, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice in these areas.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential, along with a positive, adaptable, and creative approach to problem-solving.

Homelessness continues to rise across the UK, and for many individuals experiencing it, their pet has been a vital and integral part of their life, often long before they lost their home. The bond between a person and their animal can be profound, offering emotional support, companionship, and a sense of purpose. For many, their pet’s wellbeing is a top priority, even in the most challenging circumstances.
Accessing veterinary care while living on the streets, sofa surfing or living in a hostel or temporary accommodation provider can be incredibly difficult. That’s where StreetVet comes in. We are an award-winning national charity and a registered veterinary practice with the RCVS, providing free, accessible vet care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness across the UK. Our dedicated team of volunteer veterinary professionals deliver essential services where support is needed. We take our experience out of the consulting room and onto the pavements to provide the same first opinion vet care you would expect to receive in a practice.
StreetVet also works to remove barriers to accommodation and homelessness service through our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, which helps hostels, day centres, and hubs implement positive pet policies and become pet-inclusive. This includes free veterinary care for registered pets, staff training, essential pet supplies, and access to virtual vet consultations via our telemedicine platform. The scheme empowers hostels to welcome pet owners without forcing them to choose between a roof over their head and their beloved companion.

Role Description
The Hostel & Day Centre Coordinator (North) will work closely with the Hostel and Day Centre Manager and the Coordinator (South) to ensure the effective administration and smooth day-to-day operations of the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Schemes. This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding new hostels and day centres into the network and supporting the ongoing engagement and success of existing partners. By fostering strong relationships with hostels, day centres, suppliers, and sponsors, the post holder will help build a connected and responsive community that ultimately supports more pets accessing hostels and day centres. Acting as a central point of contact, they will collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure queries are addressed efficiently and support is delivered consistently.

The role
In this role, you will:
· Be responsible for managing retention campaigns, coordinating with a number of different stakeholders, both internal and externally.
· Experience of monitoring and reporting of results and other financial data.
· Experience of working with data for fundraising purposes, either in using a database to select and segment data or of producing briefs to do so.
· Work with the Senior Individual Giving Fundraisers to deliver campaigns against agreed budgets
