About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Communications and Campaigns Lead to deliver high-impact public communications and campaigns that strengthen Z2K’s profile, influence change and support our fundraising goals.

Working closely with the Director of Policy & Engagement and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of engaging communications and campaign activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You will also mobilise supporters and communities for in-person actions that amplify our campaigns and deepen public engagement.

You’ll play a key role in bringing our new organisational strategy and planned rebrand to life - ensuring our external messaging reflects our values, demonstrates our impact, and helps secure the income and influence needed to deliver our mission.

A core part of the role will involve ensuring our fundraising communications are compelling and strategic, helping us build stronger relationships with supporters and funders. Equally, you’ll work with colleagues and communities to design and deliver campaigns that are shaped and delivered by people with living experience of poverty.

This is a broad and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, wants to be hands-on in delivery, and is passionate about challenging injustice through powerful storytelling and action.

About You

 You’ll be a skilled and creative communications and campaigns professional, with a track record of delivering high-impact, audience-focused content and activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You’re confident managing multiple priorities, spotting opportunities in a fast-moving external environment, and adapting messaging to maximise reach and impact. Experience of in person mobilisation would be an added advantage.

You’ll bring strong project management skills and enjoy working collaboratively across teams to produce clear, compelling communications that support fundraising, influence policy, and build public pressure. Whether it’s crafting supporter actions, writing stories that centre lived experience, or securing media coverage, you’ll be comfortable leading delivery while contributing ideas to wider strategic thinking.

You’ll have a keen understanding of how to build trust, grow engagement, and communicate complex issues in a way that connects with audiences. You’ll also be politically engaged and passionate about using communications and campaigns to challenge injustice and drive change.

We’re seeking an innovative Head of Research to join our fantastic Support, Research and Influencing Directorate team and help us improve survival for people with pancreatic cancer.

Currently, pancreatic cancer has a five-year survival rate of just 7% due to late diagnosis and a lack of effective treatments. As our Head of Research, you’ll help us work with leading pancreatic cancer experts to develop an innovative strategy to accelerate research into this devastating disease in the UK. Pancreatic Cancer UK invests around £2.5 million in research each year. You’ll lead on developing and delivering our research programme to ensure we invest this money well and fund quality research that will have an impact.

Laurence’s Larder is a small, dynamic and beloved local charity that feeds over 300 people a week. Working with a vibrant team of over 90 volunteers Laurence’s Larder provides a weekly food parcel service, two-course sit down meal, clothes bank, art café and access to support and advice services.

Laurence’s Larder is non-referral and open to all, we bring people together, alleviating both social isolation and food poverty, while utilising surplus food. We are also endeavouring to help address some of the underlying needs that contribute to food poverty, and continue to add more support services to our offerings.

Our warm welcome and non-judgmental approach means that we can help our guests to begin to meet their daily needs with not only dignity but practical help.

We are looking for an individual who shares these values for the role of Operations Manager; to oversee the day-to-day running of our services, leading and supporting the volunteers to do this, ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety & food hygiene standards, support the Project Director to achieve agreed outcomes and goals.

The role works across two important organisational areas, gaining valuable exposure to ISEAL’s approach to catalysing global efforts to advance on critical social and economic sustainability issues. The Assistant will play a key role in ISEAL´s team, providing assistance to two managers to ensure efficient administration of their respective work areas - membership and operations. The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Operations Support

• Guide and assist ISEAL staff in using software tools effectively by leading inductions, writing guidance, sharing best practice, providing training and trouble-shooting issues that arise
• Manage IT equipment and liaise with external IT support
• Facilitate internal communications by supporting regular and ad hoc staff meetings
• Work closely with Senior Manager Operations on improvement projects, including leading smaller projects
• Assist in promoting best practice in use of IT, communications and knowledge management systems across the organisation and suggest and help implement improvements
• Support management of ISEAL’s office space in London, including liaising with landlord and ensuring office works well for staff
• Lead on procurement of items needed for smooth running of office, for staff leading events and equipment for staff home offices
• Participate actively in team and organisational planning and activities
• Participate in internal staff management processes such as performance reviews, supervisory meetings, etc.

Member communications

• Gather and prepare content for member mailings, including our monthly member-only newsletter, the ISEAL Insider
• Maintain the internal Mailchimp schedule, liaising with staff in the Communications team to plan and schedule mailings effectively
• Support other ISEAL teams to communicate appropriately with members through our different channels and mailing lists, checking for adherence to brand guidelines
• Support the Membership Coordinator and Membership Manager with drafting blogs, news items, and group posts to share updates with members via the ISEAL Platform
• With the Membership Coordinator, regularly review content on the ISEAL Platform to ensure it remains accurate and up to date, liaising with other teams where necessary

Monitoring our membership programme

• Regularly collect data to help monitor our member communications, engagement with member-only events, and use of the ISEAL Platform
• Create and update quarterly reports and dashboards to help identify and communicate key trends and inform improvements
• Support the Membership Manager with the preparation of quarterly and annual engagement reports to send to members
• Deliver administrative processes that underpin member relationship management and track member engagement, including maintenance of member records within Salesforce

Other

• Provide occasional support for member-only Zoom webinars and at in-person events
• Be a collaborative and effective member of both the Membership and Operations teams, liaising with colleagues at all levels across the organisation where needed

Experience, Knowledge and Attributes

• Experience working or interning in a support/administrative or customer service/communications role, ideally in international NGO, professional or membership organisation
• Enthusiasm for using data to drive customer engagement and aptitude for working with data, ideally some experience in extracting and working with analytical information
• Good organisational and time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently and establish priorities

The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will be our lead fundraiser, drawing in support and expertise from across the team. They will take ownership of identifying funding sources, refining a strategy, forecasting our fundraising income, and building strong relationships with donors, bringing the experiences of our group members to life in fundraising communications. They will line management a full-time fundraiser who specialises in individual giving while the Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will lead on grant writing. 

In the last 5 years, CARAS has had huge success, more than trebling our income and enabling us to expand our staff team and therefore our reach. We are a highly impactful organisation that is often looked to for our insight in the sector. We have an ambitious three-year strategy, co-produced with group members, staff, volunteers, trustees and partner organisations, that will launch in September 2025 and guide our current work.

This opportunity comes at a very exciting time. CARAS has been piloting a 4 day week from since the 1st of January 2025, meaning that all staff work 20% less time for 100% pay. The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations is required to lead a wide range of activities. You will be expected to manage your own time, prioritising tasks and leading a small team of people who contribute to CARAS’ fundraising. You will work closely with the CEO, and the senior leadership team which draws together Heads of Service from each of our programme areas. RESPONSIBILITIES  

Fundraising 

• Line-manage our Fundraising Officer and work together to generate income to meet CARAS’s budgetary targets through trusts and foundations, individual giving, community fundraising and other means at our disposal. 

• Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy which synchronises with the CARAS Strategic Plan.

• Research and maintain a real-time pipeline of fundraising opportunities and oversee delivery. Lead or allocate all income generation opportunities in good time so that appropriate co-design and decision-making processes are behind applications. 

• Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in CARAS’s database. 

• Ensure compliance with best practice in fundraising including use of data and confidentiality. 

• Work collaboratively with Heads of Service and CARAS’ Finance Manager to develop, deliver and iterate systems to ensure grants are accurately and effectively managed. 

• Work closely with CARAS leadership to align fundraising priorities with programme plans and organisational growth. 

• Lead on the development of programmatic and core budgets for diverse grant funders. 

• Write and submit high-quality, tailored applications that articulate CARAS’s impact, values and plans.  

• Ensure applications are accurate, persuasive, and meet deadlines and funder requirements.  

• Collaborate with the team to gather supporting information, budgets, and case studies. 

Reporting & Stewardship  

● Maintain excellent records and monitor deadlines for reporting and renewals.  

• Develop CARAS’ outcomes report and donor report ensuring they are data rich and clearly demonstrate impact. 

• Monitoring the wealth of data CARAS collects through our frontline service to ensure we stay agile and adaptable within a changing policy context, supporting Heads of Service and other relevant stakeholders to deliver excellence. 

Collaboration with Finance 

• Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager to ensure the rigorous financial management across all income and expenditure to ensure all grants and donations are accurately accounted for and spent. 

• Working collaboratively with the Finance Manager and CEO, develop the organisational annual budget and lead on income projections for the year ahead to ensure expenditure budgets are feasible and unlock multi-year growth. 

Governance 

• Contribute to the maintenance of up-to-date policies relevant to the role.

• Attend board meetings as requested to share reports with the Board on fundraising.

• Work closely with the Treasurer and the Finance Committee on fundraising strategy. 

Cross-Organisational Contribution  

● Coordinate annual impact reporting, including data analysis, case studies, and visual storytelling.  

● Build strong internal relationships and stay connected to CARAS’s work by attending occasional programmes, events and residentials.  

● Contribute ideas and support the fundraising team’s broader work (e.g. campaigns, supporter communications).

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. The postholder will take a lead role in researching and applying to smaller trusts and foundations, while contributing to the development of larger funding proposals as needed. They will also support the coordination of fundraising campaigns and events, maintain the prospect pipeline, and identify new fundraising opportunities. Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, this role contributes to the effective functioning of the fundraising team and plays an important part in fostering a collaborative, impact-driven organisational culture.

KEY AREAS:

- FUNDRAISING (80% of time)
Trusts & Foundations and Prospect Research

• Lead on the development and submission of applications to smaller trusts and foundations (up to £25,000), including drafting proposals, tracking deadlines, and updating the pipeline.
• Maintain and update the pipeline of prospective donors across income streams (trusts, corporates, government, and institutions).
• Conduct desk research into comparable organisations, donor trends, and partnership opportunities.

Appeals & Campaigns

• Support the coordination of Vision Action’s seasonal and thematic fundraising appeals (e.g. World Sight Day, Christmas, Summer).
• Lead on the planning and delivery of smaller appeals, including supporter follow-up, donor profiling, and managing campaign logistics.
• Log donor information and engagement history accurately in Donorfy CRM.
• Support the development of appeal-related materials in collaboration with the Fundraising Manager and Communications Officer.

Events & Community Fundraising

• Support the planning, recruitment, and delivery of fundraising events such as the London Marathon and other sporting and challenge events.
• Provide guidance and logistical support to individuals, volunteers, schools, and community groups running their own fundraising events.
• Represent Vision Action at relevant fundraising and community events, acting as an ambassador for the organisation.

Donor Stewardship & Relationship Management

• Support the stewardship and cultivation of individual donors, sponsors, and prospects through phone, email, and written communication.
• Assist in developing supporter journeys for regular givers and community fundraisers.
• Process thank you letters and acknowledgements using Donorfy.
• Manage day-to-day donor enquiries via the fundraising inbox and phone line, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data using Donorfy CRM.
• Produce donor and campaign performance reports as required.
• Support with administrative tasks related to fundraising compliance, filing, and data security.

- COMMUNICATION SUPPORT (20% of time)
Digital Media Marketing and Engagement

• Support efforts to grow Vision Action’s digital presence by creating engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring consistent and compelling storytelling aligned with our mission.
• Support membership relationship stewardship by developing regular updates, thank-you messages, and creative engagement campaigns to nurture and retain supporters.
• Assist in the design and production of quarterly progress reports, collaborating with colleagues across Vision Action to curate stories, impact data, and visuals that resonate with donors and partners.
• Update and maintain website content to ensure it remains current, accurate, and reflective of organisational priorities, campaigns, and news.
• Attend relevant internal and external events or meetings to capture content, live-post updates, and strengthen Vision Action’s online visibility and supporter engagement.

Administrative Support and Organisational Culture

• Provide targeted administrative support to the Fundraising & Communications team, including managing the Fundraising inbox, logging and responding to supporter enquiries, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Help maintain well-organised digital filing systems (e.g. SharePoint) for communications assets, membership materials, and donor stewardship documents.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives by contributing communications materials and ensuring alignment of messaging across teams.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

About the role:

The Floating Support Worker will specialise in working with women for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a priority. You will provide specialist housing and domestic abuse support to women aged 18 and over. The accommodation needs of the women you support will require you to advocate and support for each woman efficiently and empathically, whilst liaising with providers and stakeholders to ensure her accommodation needs are met. The role is dynamic and requires the post holder to respond to women with effective crisis intervention, advocacy and support. They will be required to coordinate the provision of multiagency support which focuses on working with clients to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. The post holder will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.

The Floating Support Worker will ensure that the women survivors views and needs inform every stage of the process, and so the post holder will be empathic, empowering and able to advocate for women. You will also share your learning with your team, Advance and other stakeholders to ensure best practice is consistently achieved.

Working as part of a team of Floating Support Workers, you will make proactive contact and provide high quality non-judgemental advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment. You will be responsible for a number of women at a time and you will be their designated and consistent support worker. You will also support women and referrers at the first stage of referral by completing assessments and providing crisis intervention support as part of a ‘duty’ team with designated days for you to do this.

The Floating Support Worker will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse and the housing sectors. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information appropriately.

Experience of supporting female survivors of domestic violence with housing and accommodation needs, in partnership with other organisations, and of safeguarding procedures is essential for this post.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

· Create effective working partnerships with housing service providers and the local council to promote the Floating Support Worker Service

· Provide information, guidance and support to referral stakeholders to enable them to identify women at risk of and experiencing domestic violence, enabling them to confidently respond and refer women to the service. This may include delivery of briefings and information sessions to upskill housing workers. To continuously build awareness of the service and confidence of stakeholders in order to ensure women in need are identified and supported

· Effectively support a number of women at any one time, undertaking case management activities such as excellent assessments, action planning, referrals, and record keeping

· Conduct comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for women experiencing domestic violence, carry out short- and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support; and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs, including attendance at specialist/dedicated courts and MARAC as required

· Develop and deliver support plans that include delivery of high-quality face to face or telephone crisis intervention, information, advocacy and support, in respect to criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, children’s legislation and other appropriate interventions. Ensure that focus on safe tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention underpins all work

· Advise women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, making referrals and co-ordinating the provision of multi-agency support where necessary, and proactively advocate ensuring barriers to accessing support and protection are minimised

· Proactively assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have, ensure that any risks/needs identified are addressed directly with the woman, and take appropriate action to safeguard them

· Proactively assess the needs and safety of women at risk proactively following Adult at Risk policies and procedures

· Participate in multi-agency conferences in respect of children and adults at risk as required, providing reports and undertaking actions as necessary

· Ensure all monitoring and evaluation for each woman, all cases and the project overall is accurate and up to date. Work in partnership with your team and the Advance Insights and Evidence team to ensure all reporting requirements are met. Highlight issues and successes in a timely manner

· Ensure that agreed case recording and monitoring systems are kept up to date and secure, and write internal and external reports where required, including for safeguarding conferences, team meetings, managers and other appropriate partners and stakeholders

· Participate in multi-agency working and focus groups when requested to do so and follow through on agreed appropriate actions that arise from these

· Work effectively as a member of your own team and as a team member of Advance supporting all organisational objectives

· Work in partnership with housing staff and provide institutional advocacy to maximise positive outcomes and use the appropriate reporting mechanisms to highlight persistent or recurring issues that arise

We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic leader to take our Trusts and Statutory fundraising to the next level. As Trusts and Statutory Lead at Parkinson’s UK, you’ll drive the development and delivery of strategies that grow sustainable income and secure major grants for the charity’s most important priorities.

You’ll lead a talented team of nine (including four Managers), creating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and high performance. By inspiring your team and working closely with colleagues in the wider High Value function and across the charity, you’ll open new doors to funders, deepen existing relationships, and champion innovative approaches to securing transformational support.

This is a pivotal role in achieving our ambition to deliver a step change in income. You’ll be a visible and confident ambassador for Parkinson’s UK, engaging senior staff, trustees, and volunteers in building high-value partnerships that make a lasting difference for people affected by Parkinson’s.

What you’ll do

• Develop and deliver ambitious, evidence-based strategies to maximise income from trusts, foundations, and various statutory grantmakers.

• Oversee the cultivation of key funders and senior volunteers, unlocking networks and securing long-term, high-value support.

• Lead senior staff and volunteers in building relationships with trusts and statutory funders, identifying opportunities for growth and adopting fresh, innovative approaches to fundraising.

• Work across the charity to identify funding opportunities and ensure our programmes and projects are well-positioned for support.

• Create compelling, outcomes-driven funding proposals that clearly demonstrate impact and inspire transformational giving.
   

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience of trust and/or statutory fundraising at a strategic level

• Proven ability to identify and present compelling multi-year fundable proposals including complex project budgets and fundraising targets 

• Strong leadership skills including leading dispersed internal project teams towards clear goals, and to prioritise and communicate organisational updates

• Experience of successful line management, overseeing, mentoring and developing skills of team members 

• Experience managing an annual income budget (£1m+) including monitoring activity, performance and re-forecasting

You will lead high-level engagement across both regions, with a particular focus on Yorkshire and Humber. In this region, you will help Inclusion North reconnect, build strategic partnerships, and become a visible and valued voice in system-level spaces.

You will take a lead in representing Inclusion North across a range of regional spaces, including Communities of Practice, local authority-led forums, and, where appropriate, ICB-related groups. This means helping shape change, influence commissioning, and ensure that the voices of people with a learning disability, autistic people, and family carers are heard where decisions are made. You will also be expected to challenge constructively when systems fall short of inclusion, equity, or lived experience leadership.

You will line manage the Innovation and Impact Manager and the Good Life Collaborative Programme Lead. This includes overseeing how our delivery connects to system priorities, responds to emerging opportunities, and contributes to our financial sustainability. You will also provide strategic insight to support planning, funding, and future direction.

This is a leadership role for someone who can build trust, speak with credibility, and stand firm in their values. You will need the insight to understand how systems work, and the confidence to push for change when they do not work for the people they are meant to serve.

The Cross-regional Strategic Lead holds senior responsibility for regional engagement, system influence, and delivery oversight at a strategic level.

The role is anchored in Yorkshire and Humber, where you will need to be well-connected and regularly present. You will also work across the Northeast as part of a joined-up, cross-regional team.
