The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is exclusive partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their evolving team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role.

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:

• Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position
• Manage the design and build of financial models to support strategic planning, project impact assessment, and forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic forecasts and budget plans
• Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance
• Lead the finance business partnering function, providing support and guidance to budget holders and key stakeholders
• Ensure monthly management accounts are produced and shared with stakeholders

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified with a recognised professional body, or be able to prove they are qualified by experience
• Experience in charity financial planning, budgeting and cost recovery model in a complex organisation
• Substantial relevant finance management experience in the not-for-profit sector
• Experience in mapping and analysing processes and identifying and implementing process improvement
• Excellent communication skills and be able to influence at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to manage, support and develop diverse teams to work effectively together and with the rest of the organisation
• Ideally, experience of accounting within a grant receiving organisation

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. Purpose of the Job  

We are looking for the Production Supervisor to play a key role in our brand-new Production team under project ‘Unit 17’.  

You will be the on the ground senior leading the teams in the daily tasks to be completed, working as the connection between the management team and the team members and volunteers. Working hands on within all the production lines, leading by example and supporting the team across the operation. 

This is an operational role, mainly based on the production floor but with a range of reporting and administrative tasks involved. You will report into the Production Manager and work closely with them on the day to day running of the unit as well as supporting covering their duties when they are away.

You will be supervising and supporting the teams to deliver on each day’s production targets as well as ensuring that all rules and HACCAP plans are followed correctly, providing real time feedback to the management team on any issues and resolutions taken.

More about Unit 17 

In early/mid 2025, we opened our second production facility as part of the Coronation Food Project. The Coronation Food Project was set up to celebrate His Majesty King Charles 75th birthday and seeks to bridge the gap between food waste and food need across the UK. 

We will be taking in surplus food from our supplier network and creating a range of products which have added value and extended shelf life.  A particular focus will be seasonal produce gluts, using ingredients which we may otherwise not be able to redistribute.  

Using four key processes (re-packaging, jarring / preserving, dehydrating and freezing), we will create a range of products which will be used in these three main ways:  

• Distributed to our partner community organisations as ‘ready to eat’ or ‘easy to use’ products for their service users - always delicious, achieving relevant safety standards and meeting the needs of the eventual end user. 

• Used in the East London Central Production Unit (CPU) to support creating Felix Ready Meals.  

• Used in Unit 17 in the creation of other products (for example frozen produce later used to make jarred sauces or preserves) 

A typical day at Unit 17 will likely include planning new product/s based on the ingredients available that day, agreeing relevant food safety requirements and working in line with this, working with the production team and volunteers to prepare, produce and package delicious products, planning for future products and project work.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Day to day supervision of the operations team, with a hands-on supportive approach 

• Liaising closely with the management team on the targets and goals for each production cycle

• Support in the delivery of all required H&S, Food Safety and HACCAP requirements and reporting on these areas

• Working with all internal stake holders across the departments at the Felix Project 

• Feeding into the reporting and delivery of the units stated KPI’s and production goals

• Ensuring that the equipment is always being used productively and correctly

• Taking a leading role in the training of the staff and volunteer teams

• Responsible for the operational record keeping and due diligence paperwork being used correctly

• Reporting any operational issues or challenges faced in a timely and open manner 

• Ensuring all team members are completing their duties across the operation, including the production space, office spaces, urban farm and any other relevant areas.

Person Specification 

This is a brand new and unique operation and requires someone with experience and an openness to creating and delivering on a new project. Whilst previous experience and knowledge within food production is essential, we are looking for someone who wants to grow into the role and be able to develop themselves and their knowledge whilst we develop this new operation.

• Comfortable with all relevant aspects of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures in a food manufacturing environment

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.

Our aim is to improve clinical care, education, and PVD research. To do this, we bring together an international network of thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics, and industry partners supported by our small team based in Bermondsey, London. Together, we deliver conferences, e-learning, and an academic journal, raise awareness of PVD, and encourage collaboration in research.

About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's profile and international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income generation, work with the team to run successful events, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate high-quality webinars.

About our Saturday Spanish School: Our Saturday Spanish School offers a vibrant, immersive space for children aged 5–12 to explore and strengthen their Spanish language skills. At the same time, we warmly welcome learners from all backgrounds, creating a multicultural environment where language learning happens naturally through play, creativity, and meaningful social connection.

About the role: As a Saturday Spanish School Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the lead teacher in preparing and delivering interactive lessons, including setting up materials, worksheets, visual aids, and digital resources

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture

• Accurately record student progress in the designated systems, using LAH’s tools and formats, based on teacher evaluations

• Attend relevant training or induction sessions provided by LAH

You will oversee all aspects of their work in these areas, developing and delivering an ambitious, community-rooted strategy that brings local people together behind a vision for their areas.
 
The role calls for someone who is detail oriented but can see the bigger picture. Someone warm, personal and engaging, who seems opportunity and harnesses it. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and delivering strategies in community-led or place-based settings. You will be skilled in planning and project management, have excellent relationship building experience and be comfortable working within, and navigating, ambiguity. Finally, you will need the ability to drive, with access to your own vehicle, to travel independently across the country.

About the Role 

The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will lead our services in our centre based at 12 Adelaide Street. The core purpose of these services is to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support people into treatment and accommodation options. This will include Centre Services, our Community, Street Engagement and case work teams. You will also lead the delivery of any short-term emergency accommodation including SWEP and hotel provision.    

This opportunity comes at a particularly exciting time as the Connection looks to ambitiously develop our work at Adeliade Street into a hub of harm reduction and health inclusion for people rough sleeping in Westminster. As the Head of Rough Sleeping Services, you will lead the exciting strategic and operational work to deliver this, and have the chance to be part of a centre that aims to be a nationally recognised example of innovative practice.   

The role requires someone with a strong track record in service delivery with people who have complex needs. They must have experience of trauma informed care and similar associated practice.  Alongside ensuring high quality service delivery, they must have experience of developing new approaches, building relationships with statutory services and working with fundraising specialists to secure resources. The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will be a well organised and focused manager who uses coaching techniques to develop their team. Finally, they must be a positive role model with the personal credibility to build confidence in the charity both internally and externally. 

Salary: £51,939

BVSC are members of a local consortium where eight voluntary sector organisations have come together to support local people with care and support needs in new and sustainable ways.  The consortium will work as “Trusted Partners” to enable people to find the right support services that meet their needs and fulfil their personal goals – supporting them to maintain their independence for as long as possible and helping them to plan ahead. 
 

The consortium service requires a role to act as a single point of access where consortium partners, residents, referrers, and adult social care can contact for information and access to the service. The service is operational from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and the single point of access will provide the intermediary between LA/Consortia for day today queries and will monitor referrals into the consortium.
