Re-engage has just launched a new five-year strategy which will have growth at its heart. We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team as Supporter Care Officer and be a vital part of this exciting phase of our development.
 
This is a new role within a growing fundraising team which is aiming to significantly grow income to achieve our growth strategy. Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop relationships with individual and community donors, and legacy pledgers. Your personalised approach and friendly manner will help them feel valued, understand the life changing difference they make and deepen their connection to our work reducing loneliness in later life. As part of your role, you will also have opportunity to support the Individual Giving Manager with fundraising activities.
 
Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for supporters and build good relationships with them - respond to queries, take donations, and support them in their fundraising.
• Develop a programme to regularly thank donors for their support and find out more about them, including a schedule of supporter phone calls and sending a donor survey.
• Make sure all individual, community and legacy gifts are recorded correctly on our CRM and thanked within a timely manner. Look for new ways to thank donors in a way that surprises and delights.
• Develop and implement personalised stewardship plans for donors and legacy pledgers to provide regular updates that demonstrate their impact or help to build engagement ahead of a fundraising appeal.
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager to communicate with one-off donors about how they can set up a regular gift, and to regular givers about how they can increase their gift.
• Provide support on the production of fundraising appeals, identifying potential stories to use, writing briefs and liaising with suppliers, producing mailing lists and analysing results.
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement marketing plans for challenge events, community, in memory and legacy fundraising, planning regular content throughout the year and identifying key times to promote specific activity.
• Look for opportunities to incorporate legacy messaging into other communications with donors, volunteers and older people.
• Support on the development of new KPI and reporting frameworks, and help to update results for post-campaign and ad-hoc data analysis projects.
• Keep up to date with developments in direct marketing and fundraising practise. Comply with the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice and charity/fundraising law at all times.

 
You may be required to undertake other duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post. There may be occasional out of hours work required.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Lead on the coordination and delivery of the service’s prevention, early intervention, targeted education offers, and youth settings.
• To increase visibility and accessibility of the service amongst children, young people, families, and partners with the aim of increasing referrals into service for specialist support.
• Identifying and responding effectively to potential safeguarding issues.
• Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement.
• To be responsible for proactively generating and increasing referrals from relevant partners including utilising data to target specific services/provisions.
• To develop and deliver training programmes aimed at creating awareness of the service alongside delivering early intervention key messages to professionals.
• To analyse and scrutinise data to identify gaps in areas where the service can take a proactive approach to engagement.
• To create presentations that will engage young people, using harm reduction and psychoeducation.

• You have experience working with young people, with knowledge of the issues they face.
• Knowledge of safeguarding concerns and guidelines in relation to children and young people and the Fraser Competence framework.
• You have a good understanding of drug and alcohol issues and be able to speak about this publicly. 
• Knowledge of working with evidence-based practice around young people’s substance misuse treatment services and methods.

About the Role

About the Role

• Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.  
• The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
• In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including running co-designed activities and accompanying women to appointments.
• You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
• You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
• You will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a vibrant and growing charity delivering life changing nautical adventure for young people through the Sea Cadets to give them the best possible head start in life. We also provide personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers with the Marine Society. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have built a vision and five-year strategy to take us forward and further improve the astounding contribution already made through our work to the lives of thousands of young people and seafarers, while fully supporting our volunteers who are vital to our success.

We are currently looking for an OTW Project Assistant who will support the delivery of the On The Water project at one of our boating stations in Edinburgh. The project provides young people from outside Sea Cadets, age 9-14, the opportunity to get on the water, learn new skills and build confidence through boating activity. This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, inspiring, organised, creative, tenacious, positive, IT competent and with a real interest in people with a attention to detail and real enthusiasm for the project.

Project delivery at Port Edgar Boat Station takes place between 30th July 2025 and 1st August 2025 when the young people will be attending boating sessions. During this busy time the Project Assistant will be based at the boat station each day to complete registration, manage group change overs, track project targets, encourage survey completion and fill booking gaps. Prior to delivery at Crosby, the role will be focused on supporting the booking process and engaging in community outreach. Once delivery is complete, the Project Assistant role will then predominantly be supporting the evaluation and data collection as well as supporting participants to join their local Sea Cadet unit.

The On The Water project is running at two further sites in London and Birmingham for an extended delivery period. The post holder for Crosby will also support delivery at the other 2 sites outside of their own delivery period where needed. This may be virtual administration support or require travel where expenses are paid.

Key Responsibilities

• The welcoming and registration of participants for the On The Water project
• Collecting and uploading daily statistics and figures that show how the project is progressing
• Making new and repeat bookings
• Talking to participants and their parents/carers about the opportunities within Sea Cadets
• Managing a waiting list and reducing drop-outs
• Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants alongside the Boat Station staff

As our Security Engineer, you'll be at the frontline of our cyber defence, working closely with the Security Operations Manager to monitor, maintain and enhance our security tools and services. You'll collaborate with external security providers, including our 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), responding to security alerts and ensuring threats are identified and addressed promptly.

About You

You’ll have experience working in cyber security, system engineering, or a similar role, with hands-on knowledge of security tools such as anti-malware, content filtering, SIEM and threat detection solutions. You should have or be working towards professional security and technical certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCNA, SSCP, CEH, or CREST CPSA/CRT, GIAC. Knowledge of Microsoft security suite, vulnerability scanning, working knowledge of network infrastructure or scripting languages like Python and PowerShell would be advantageous.

We are recruiting a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families in Brent. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with parenting experience to support new dads at a critical time in their parenting journey. The Dad Matters Coordinator will be passionate about supporting fathers to create strong secure bonds with their babies. You will have the compassion and skills to enable dads to have those difficult conversations, and talk about how they’re really feeling.

The Dad Matters Coordinator will deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at fathers in the First 1001 Days. You will support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. You will also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Additionally, you will help develop and run sessions with dads and will be at the forefront of growing our Dad Matters volunteering opportunities.

We are looking for someone who can build on our existing relationships in the borough and make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of new dads and dads-to-be. 

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Brent and regular days in the office in Barnet. You will need to travel regularly across the borough and be visible in the community.

As our Engagement Lead, you will work with the Head of Wellbeing to review, evolve and drive forward the way we bring young people into our services at OTR.

Alongside your team you will proactively engage young people with the work we do. You will manage and inspire a team of Listening Support Workers, Youth Workers and our Wellbeing Co-ordinator to deliver quality, timely and relevant work for the young people we serve.
