We know kinship carers are strong, capable and fiercely determined to ensure they get what they need to support their kinship family. And we want to support them to feel confident and empowered to do that. A new training contract with the Department for Education will support this outcome.
This role is pivotal in supporting kinship carers to understand what being a kinship carer actually means, what choices are available to them and how to access the information and advice they need for their kinship families in England.
You’ll lead and facilitate our introductory training workshops for kinship carers, alongside a kinship experienced colleague.
You’ll be part of a team delivering regional roadshows across the country. You’ll help facilitate on the day, presenting to kinship carers across England. Alongside roadshows you’ll deliver introductory training at local peer support groups. You will also provide line management to our Kinship Experienced In Person Facilitator.
You’ll join a new team – Advice, Training and Information who will be resolute about creating a positive and impactful learning experience for all kinship carers in England.
A strong facilitator and communicator, you will need to be great at presenting content to kinship carers. You’ll need to calm under pressure and able to deliver exceptional in person workshops and training to small and large audiences.
Being interactive, engaging and able to read the room are essentials for this role. You’ll be curious – and always thinking about how you can improve your delivery and the experience for kinship carers. We’re building a team who is open, focussed on the needs of kinship carers and who are looking to continuously and positively improve.
As part of this new training service, you’ll receive all the training and development to support you to succeed in this role. This may include overnight stays as part of induction and training.
This is a role that will need to travel and we’re happy to discuss how this could work best if you have kinship caring responsibilities.
In this role you will:
Co-delivering exceptional in person introductory roadshows to kinship carers in England (16 over a 12-month period) as part of a delivery team.
Leading exceptional in person introductory workshops to peer support groups in England (individual target - 20 plus over a 12-month period).
An in-depth understanding of kinship care in England (we’ll provide training and support).
Consistent approach across training experiences, following manualisation processes.
Effectively facilitating roundtable discussions (as part of the roadshow format).
Supporting consultation events with kinship carers to support co-design of the service.
Ensuring KPIs for service delivery (including feedback and evaluation) are met including kinship carer experiences (90% service user satisfaction).
Ongoing continuous development of training resources and delivery using insight, data and participation from kinship carers.
Consitent approach across training experiences, following manualisation processes.
Ensuring training is accessible and adapted as required.
Be comfortable being a ‘face’ for the service in promotion, in person and for online resources.
Take part in creating online content, including being confident in front of the camera to produce video and verbal content to add to our online resources, advice and guidance.
Contribute to online resources as required.
Take accountability for using Salesforce effectively as our case management system to support service delivery learning, high performance and evaluation. Ensure excellent administration in your delivery, keeping to deadlines.
Work closely with Advice Service, Peer Support Service and Programmes teams to create onward referral pathways.
Work with local authority partners to create regional content for in person introductory training workshops at peer support groups.
Ensure tone of voice, language and brand are inline with Kinship guidelines. Contribute positive active learning and proactively create opportunities to understand kinship carers needs for training (using learning logs).
Contribute to case studies demonstrating impact of training service alongside ongoing insight to influence policy and campaigning development.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced programme coordinator to lead our Travelling with Confidence grant, engaging and empowering disabled people, promoting independent mobility, using rail and connecting modes. Working with our members and partners you will coordinate and support the delivery of this important programme, helping to ensure it is participatory, empowering, effective and well-evaluated, while sharing learnings and building a lasting legacy.
Responsibilities
Programme coordination, delivery and monitoring and evaluation:
- Ensure good coordination and communication between delivery partners and support their high-quality delivery in line with timeframes and requirements, including via steering group meetings and individual support.
- Offer support, guidance and ideas to our delivery partners to assist their work, helping them to build capacity and confidence and meet their objectives. This includes support to engage with, and draw on the experiences, ideas and voices of disabled people.
- Support delivery partners in establishing co-creation principles and empowering ways of working for their projects, and drawing up theories of change, drawing on good practice and expertise.
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate positive collaboration and help develop our wider network while supporting project objectives and raising awareness about this work.
- Produce communications content to support project delivery, such as case studies and blogs, and work with our Communications and Policy team to promote the programme, its achievements, and amplify the voices/views/needs of the disabled people engaged.
- Set up and run an accompanying small grant fund (using/adapting our existing processes and systems) for other community rail partnerships/groups to deliver travel confidence initiatives with disabled people. Provide similar support and advice to those grant-funded to that offered to the core delivery partners, in line with their needs.
- Support monitoring, data collection and meaningful evaluation by all core and grant-funded delivery partners, ensuring this is in line with project reporting requirements, and serves our goals around legacy-building and empowering those involved.
- Monitor and review project objectives, troubleshooting any issues in a timely manner.
- Financial management of the grant budget, managing internal (Community Rail Network) budget spend as well as monitoring the delivery partner budgets in partnership with the project leads, ensuring these are in line with agreed grant funding.
Grant administration, reporting and liaison
- Maintain and develop relations with our grant provider, ensuring we meet reporting deadlines and other requirements (such as attendance at progress meetings).
- Work with project partners to agree the data set requirements and outcome parameters for evaluation, and provide suitable reporting tools.
- Completion of grant reports and financial statements, including coordinating and reviewing project delivery data (from project partners).
Evaluation and legacy building
- Produce guidance and tools to support wider delivery across community rail and beyond, working with our member support and communications teams.
- Work with colleagues, members and partners to raise wider awareness about the project and its findings and build a legacy. This includes set up and delivery of a member webinar (with support from the events team) to share project experiences.
Team and partnership working (as relevant and appropriate)
- Contribute to the wider objectives and development of Community Rail Network by sharing project progress and learning and offering advice and input. Work with our member support & development team to help embed lessons from the project and improve our ongoing support for members on rail confidence initiatives and the involvement and empowerment of disabled people.
- Feed into our senior team on strategic insights and ideas emerging from the programme to help us advocate for more inclusive, confident (rail) travel for disabled people.
- Attend, and support, community rail events (internal and external) to develop knowledge and understanding of the movement and its role.
- Contribute to the development of our internal systems (e.g. spreadsheets, CRM) such as by data capturing relevant contacts and details.
- As a member of the Community Rail Network team, assist with more general work as needed.
Skills and competencies
- A proven track record in project management, including coordinating between multiple delivery partners and ensuring project/funding requirements are met, and supporting/overseeing effective monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrable experience in supporting community projects, ideally related to inclusion and mobility, including working with disabled people.
- A good understanding of and confidence using community engagement, local communications, project planning and evaluation techniques.
- The ability to collaborate and communicate with community groups and other local partners, draw on their views and expertise, and support them to deliver effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate positive discussion; articulate and assertive, and a great team player.

Other information
Location: This post is home-based, but with some travel (including occasional overnight stays) for project meetings, events and external meetings. Applicants will need local access to a train station to enable rail-based travel for work as needed.

Job Purpose
The Tutoring Plus Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust that provides an opportunity for candidates to grow and develop new and existing skillsets. The role involves a combination of people-facing and administrative tasks, including: forming and maintaining strong relationships with school contacts, tutors, parents, Virtual School teams and other key stakeholders; leading introductory and review meetings; coordinating tuition sessions, registers, school invoices and tutor payment; liaising with local authorities and alternative provision settings to provide support for pupils who are Looked after or in alternative provision.
Coordinators’ main responsibilities are working with schools and tutors to organise tuition and ensure that its everyday delivery is efficient and properly recorded. The Tutor Trust is committed to monitoring the impact of tuition and is therefore highly data-driven in approach, whilst also being dedicated to a hands-on and personal approach with partners. This combination provides a balance to the role that enables candidates to explore various aspects of coordination and cultivate numerous transferable skills.

Main Functions
· Advertise and allocate tuition to tutors, conduct induction meetings with tutors to determine any additional training needs for assignments and attend meetings with providers to set up and monitor on-going tuition assignments. · Recording, monitoring and approving tuition sessions and their outcomes (feedback and baseline/endpoint assessments) using The Tutor Trust’s sophisticated CRM
· Attend and occasionally lead partnership meetings with TLC, Prince’s Trust and other charities to discuss the progress of the projects and the children and families within it. This includes meeting with social workers and other key contacts
· Provide administrative support for The Tutoring Plus team in both internal and external meetings

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.
Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Salesforce expert who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the implementation and ongoing development of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead on shaping scalable solutions that will enhance operational efficiency and enable accurate data-driven decision making.

Amna is seeking a Social Media and Design Consultant on a monthly retainer contract to support our digital content strategy and enhance our online presence. Overall purpose

Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.
You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. Plus, you’ll need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks to coordinate and deliver a wide range of engaging communications materials. What you will do

Key duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:
- Content Acquisition: Coordinate with regional teams and programme coordinators to acquire necessary raw content (e.g., data, videos, images) for various projects.
- Data Processing: Analyse and process large volumes of raw content and data to identify appropriate storylines and ensure accuracy and relevance for reports and case stories.
- Freelancer Briefing: Develop detailed briefs for freelancers, outlining project requirements, deadlines, and expected deliverables. Manage the workflow between the organisation and freelancers, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
- Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking project progress.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the Global Communications department, freelancers and clients, ensuring smooth collaboration and addressing any issues that arise.
- Current Events: Stay informed about current events and ensure that content is relevant and timely, particularly for reactive content related to emergencies and humanitarian crises.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing, PR, and Programme Leads teams to align content and ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality of content produced by freelancers, providing feedback and requesting revisions as necessary
What we’re looking for in our Project Coordinator include:
- Ideally Degree-educated in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in Administration / Communications
- MS Office Suite
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages, e.g. Arabic are desirable

With 1 in 5 children struggling with their mental health, our surf therapy intervention is needed now more than ever. We transform the lives of children struggling with depression and anxiety. Through our 6 week course we help them to feel calm, confident, to have positive thoughts about themselves, to have higher self esteem and trust in others. We work with over 2000 children and young people across the UK every year and have reached over 14,000 over the past 14 years.
It is an exciting time to join the charity - we have a new CEO in post who has plans to take this charity to new heights - reaching even more children than ever before and we need an experienced fundraiser who can help us achieve that vision. About The Role
The Help for Heroes Community Development team are looking to recruit a team of Community Builders to assist in their reshaped participation and connection strategy. Using Asset Based Community Development, we seek to support the charity’s objective to enhance reach and positive impact for members of the Armed Forces Community facing challenges within their local communities.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and confident people who are passionate about collaborating with communities in the design and delivery of interventions that bring and connect people together to strengthen networks within the local community. Working closely with Community Development Managers across regions within the UK, the Community Builders will play a vital role in helping to improve lives for Armed Forces Community members by creating a supportive environment that allows them to re-engage and connect with the services at Help for Heroes and with the wider community.
The main purpose of this role is to connect local people through their skills, passions and assets and support the creation of new connections, bringing people together to improve wellbeing and make the community a better place to live. This will include listening to different points of views, building relationships and motivating people to work together and create their own action influenced by their interests and skillsets to positively impact local communities and help them to flourish.
About You
You will have experience leading and facilitating the mobilisation of local communities, asset mapping, bringing together people for engagement that matters to them. You will have knowledge and experience of Asset Based Community Development work, outreach methods and you will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to animate local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outreach to drive local connection, engagement and participation opportunities for the AFC
- Develop and embed an ABCD informed way of work
- Asset map
- Organise and facilitate community meetings to share ideas, encourage collective decision making and build a sense of belonging
- Encourage and pilot community lead action in response to local AFC needs/interests through peer led/co-designed initiatives
- Increase awareness of the challenges faced by military personnel, veterans and their families
PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidates will need to be based within an hour’s commute of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel within a 75-mile radius of this location (travel expenses covered). Flexibility in working hours is necessary to ensure a total of 70 hours is covered over a 2-week period so please take this into consideration before applying.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A Community Development qualification and/or at least 3 years' experience working within a community development or similar role, with responsibility for bringing about social change and improving quality of life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships which lead to actions
- Demonstrable experience within an integrated multi-disciplinary service
- Experience of engaging and working collaboratively with partners/stakeholders
About the Team
You will work as part of the Community Development team; this newly formed team will approach working in defined localities using an asset based community development approach. Together the Community Development Managers and the Community Builders will strengthen local communities using resources and networks that are readily available. You will do this to proliferate opportunities for sustainable participation and engagement alongside a multi-disciplinary team in order to support the Armed Forces Community to live well after service.

As the Breck Foundation's new Project Coordinator (Pan Sussex), with the support of the CEO, you will lead the initial project set up, the recruitment of schools and young people, followed by all training and coordination of the delivery.
The post holder will need to reside in Sussex and be required to work from home permanently but willing and able to travel regularly to various locations across East and West Sussex. Occasional travel farther afield as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Breck Foundation
Breck Foundation is a unique and dynamic organisation that makes a real difference. The charity was founded in 2014 in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. We inform, educate and campaign to help young people and the wider UK public reclaim the internet from those who seek to harm others through it. Our educational programmes reach thousands of students, parents and safeguarding professionals each year.
The Project
Over the last few years, the Breck Foundation worked closely with Volunteer Police Cadet Units in Surrey and Tower Hamlets to train cadets as ‘Breck Ambassadors’, equipping them with the training needed to talk in schools to their peers about staying safe online and the key signs of grooming.
We are proud to take this successful project further having secured funding with the Office of Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner (OSPCC) to recruit and train up to 30 ‘Youth Ambassadors’ (for online safety) in schools across Sussex. The Youth Ambassadors will learn how to tell Breck’s story and empower young people with the tools they need to stay safe online. Working closely with schools to enable the students to become Online Safety Ambassadors for their school community, advocate for their peers and to be a voice of expertise and counsel. You will work with schools and community groups to generate impact through Breck’s story (on online grooming) and other important topics related to children’s online safety.
This flagship project for the OSPCC will launch in April 2025 (Coordinator starts in January 2025) and run for at least 12 months, with potential funding up to three years. We hope it will set a precedent for others to follow our lead and develop similar programmes for young people across the UK.
