About the role
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Community Fundraising to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing Dementia UK’s Community Fundraising strategy, providing excellent fundraising experiences and delivering high quality supporter journeys which maximise short, medium and long-term income generation for Dementia UK.
Leading the Community Fundraising team, you will play a critical role in ensuring Dementia UK can continue to expand its vital services for families affected by dementia. With a clear vision for innovation and supporter engagement, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of a bold and effective community fundraising strategy, aligned with wider fundraising and organisational objectives. You will deliver against agreed KPIs, ensuring that the strategies and activities directly support the broader objectives of Fundraising and Engagement, and the organisation.
You will champion high-quality supporter stewardship so that everyone has a fantastic experience with Dementia UK – and ensure team managers continually review the supporter experience so that relationships with supporters are high quality and maximise fundraising potential. You’ll work closely with the Fundraising Innovation Lead to support new product development and the continuation of ideas and minimum viable products.
As a senior leader, you will cultivate a high-performing and aspirational team culture, inspiring staff to exceed targets while providing strong leadership and professional development. Additionally, you will work across the directorate, partnering with Marketing & Communications to enhance brand visibility and supporting wider Fundraising team initiatives to drive greater influence and engagement.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. Purpose of the role
The Alcohol Behavioral Change Specialist is responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing, evidence-based programmes applying appropriate behavioural change models aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm, and promoting long-term behavioral change related to alcohol consumption.
As a leading charity focused on alcohol harm reduction, the postholder will be Drinkaware’s internal expert regarding alcohol harm to individuals and will have a good understanding of brief interventions, as well as information, advice and guidance including quality assurance across our work. They will work across the organisation providing expert advice and guidance.
This role requires a deep understanding of psychological theories, behavioral science, and addiction, along with practical experience in behavioral interventions.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.
Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:
- Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities
- Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
- Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
- Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
- Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers
They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Mass participation team as our Individual Giving Manager. This role plays a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our Individual Giving Fundraising. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for creating, developing and delivering a fundraising plan to grow existing and new support for Winston’s Wish across our online and offline channels. This includes Direct Mails, Regular Giving, our Lottery, Legacies and In Memory giving income streams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Lead on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy, supported by the Head of Mass Participation and the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
- Ensure all opportunities and future plans are in line with Winston’s Wish’s over-arching fundraising strategy to meet financial targets, organisational objectives and KPIs.
- Maintain an awareness of philanthropy trends, news, events and legislation in the UK to ensure that Winston’s Wish remains up to date on key changes which are likely to impact on individual giving.
Generating Individual Giving Income
- Lead on and deliver a plan to increase individual giving income from streams including, but not exclusive to, direct mail, regular giving, legacies, in-mem and our charity lottery
- Effective use of KPIs to ensure decisions are driven by evidence and real-time data.

Role description
As our philanthropy coordinator, you will play a key role in building new partnerships with philanthropists and high-net-worth individuals, with an immediate focus on the UK, US, and Europe. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Designing and executing our philanthropy fundraising strategy. Lead a strategy to identify, cultivate, and solicit high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) —including through Donor Advised Funds, Family Offices, Family Foundations, and other giving vehicles—with an immediate focus on the US, UK and Europe.

Prospecting and donor acquisition. Manage HNWI prospecting, generate new leads, develop solicitation plans, brief senior leadership in advance of meetings, and coordinate cultivation and networking opportunities.

Terms and remuneration
This is a remote, home-working role. You will be contracted for 40 hours a week on a full-time, fixed-term contract. Flexible working is available and encouraged.
