About the role

Lead the strategic development and delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of impactful online, hybrid and in-person events that support NCVO’s membership strategy and organisational objectives. You will manage the events team, overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of diverse events including major conferences, webinars and workshops. This role contributes to NCVO’s brand recognition, and fosters connection, learning and collaboration for its 17,000 members, and wider sector audience. You will develop and manage event budgets and continuously improve the programme based on evaluation and data.

Research Data Scotland (RDS) is a charity set up by the Scottish public sector and leading universities. We help researchers find and make use of data that can improve the lives of people in Scotland. Working in partnership, we do this by widening the range of data available, creating new data assets and providing a single point of contact for safe, secure and effective access to public data in a trustworthy manner.

Data is often locked away in lots of individual systems, across many different organisations, and isn’t in a format that makes access or integration easy. We can help researchers to unlock the potential of this data by giving them information and advice that speeds up and simplifies their work.

RDS aims to provide a step change in the service to researchers, whilst maintaining the high standards of information governance and data security already in place. We aim to work as openly as possible, maintaining standards in transparency and ethics. Our focus is on providing a streamlined service for researchers, as well as extending the range of data available through the service, particularly in the areas of Covid-19, NHS imaging, geospatial data, children and justice services.

Our partners include: Scottish Government, Public Health Scotland, National Records of Scotland (NRS), and the Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We work closely with the national and regional safe havens. And we are in contact with other organisations in Scotland and across the UK in the data research sector, including public sector, research and commercial bodies.

About the job

The Associate Product Manager plays a vital role in delivering user-focused digital products and services that make it easier for researchers to find and access data in a secure and efficient way.

They are responsible for supporting a range of digital projects at RDS collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to maintain and develop our digital platforms and support the delivery of high-quality services.

Working methodically, the role holder will ensure our live platforms (website, metadata catalogue and Researcher Access Service) are well managed, overseeing a planned programme of service improvements, functionality and design of new features.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone developing their digital product and delivery career or moving into agile delivery from another project management or coordination background.

About you

You are a self-starter, with some experience of working with customer-facing digital platforms. You’ll understand the importance of accuracy and diligence, while working across a range of projects. You’ll have a natural ability to form strong working relationships and communication forms a huge part of this role, so you’ll be adept at sharing accurate verbal and written information across our organisation and to our delivery partners meaning we get things right first time.

About the role 

Morden College is seeking a dynamic Brand and Digital Manager to support the Communications Lead
to put Morden College’s brand and new Strategic Framework at the heart of everything we do to deliver excellent homes, high quality services and thriving communities. This is an exciting role that will help transform resident and staff engagement with a number of projects in the pipeline that you will support including brand development work, a new website and the development of e-communications through a new CRM system. 

As a passionate brand ambassador, you will work to embed the brand internally, maximising, opportunities to amplify the brand, and driving brand consistency. With creativity and strong design skills, you will be responsible for producing in-house online and print assets, while deepening engagement with residents, staff, volunteers, and the wider public.

Main duties and responsibilities 

Brand strategy and development 

• Support on the development and implementation of Morden College brand strategy driving engagement across the charity and ensuring consistency across all platforms. 

• Act as an internal brand consultant across the organisation, collaborating with teams to amplify the brand and maximise brand opportunities. 

• Support and collaborate with the Communications Lead to deliver assets to evolve the brand in line with Morden College’s new Strategic Framework. 

Content creation and storytelling  

• Be responsible for the in-house design of all communications assets across a wide range of print, online and outdoor channels including e-newsletters, marketing collateral, posters, signage and hospitality assets.  

• Support the Communications Lead to oversee the creation of compelling resident-led content—stories, visuals, and videos—that brings to life Morden College’s work and contribute to a content plan of news and events to ensure a balance of content from our two sites. 

• Manage all photography and videography production including photo shoots and permissions both in-house and using external agencies.

• Manage and maintain an image library that reflects the breadth of life at Morden College to capture everyday moments, the wide variety of events that take place and our hospitality offering.

Digital presence and visibility 

• Support the Communications Lead in the development of a brand-new website to ensure Morden College’s online presence reflects its brand values and engages users effectively. 

• Update web pages on a day-to-day basis to ensure
  accurate and timely information for residents and external audiences and ensure content such as images and blogs are regularly refreshed. 

• Utilise SEO and web analytics to support the evaluation, development and promotion of the website.  

• Produce monthly reports on online activity using Google analytics and other tools to optimise digital platforms. 

• Support in the development of Morden College’s email communications, sending out a regular e-newsletter and other updates though email campaigns using Mailchimp. Monitor, analyse and report on its effectiveness. 

• Collaborative work with the IT team to segment, target and grow our audience reach through a new CRM
  system.

The National Lottery Community Fund is recruiting for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager, a key role in our External Affairs Team sat within our newly formed Communications Directorate.  

This role is part of our ambitious transformation as we implement a significant pivot in our communications approach – building on our support for grant-making to demonstrate the powerful impact communities have in strengthening society and improving lives.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape our stakeholder engagement during a time of exciting change. Using your insight into the sector, you will work with colleagues to map and manage priority stakeholder relationships relevant to our missions and the impact of our funding. You will develop targeted engagement strategies to strengthen and diversify our stakeholders, delivering key activities including communications, events, briefings and meetings to support the development of these relationships.

Working with colleagues across communications and funding teams, you will identify and act upon opportunities to demonstrate the impact of our funding on communities and how it aligns with relevant and influential stakeholders and organisations. You will have strong project management experience, with a robust approach to tracking relationships and managing stakeholder data, ideally through the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong communications and engagement background, as well as experience in working with senior level stakeholders. Ideally you will have had exposure to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors. A well known local charity VASA is a small charity (turnover £350k) supporting 4,000 people across Rugby, Solihull East and South Warwickshire with community activities, dementia services and our community transport service.

Following the decision of our long serving Charity Manager to move on to pastures new, we are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Interim Charity Manager for an inital period of 6 months with the potential to be extended dependant subject to results and funding. The Interim will lead the charity forward building on relationships, strategy and partnerships fostered by our outgoing CM. 

Our volunteer-led services have grown in the last decade to meet the growing needs of our community thanks to our dedicated volunteers and a forward thinking Board of Trustees and ambitious strategic plan.

The interim postholder will be expected to continue on from the work of the outgoing CM and undertake an indepth review of the business, working with the trustees on the next phase of our strategic plan and look for a bold funding and operating strategy.

To continue our good work and move VASA forward the apointee will be expected to:

• Identify growth opportunities for this service either geographically and/or by expanding the types of service offerings and ensure this is staffed to enable maximum growth.
• Maximise the newly installed transport support software to ensure that VASA is obtaining optimum benefit from it.
• Seek opportunities for expanding the dementia day services offering and the number of clients served.

As external grant funding is vital for VASA the appointee will be expected to:

• Work with the local authorities currently providing grant funding with the pupose of:
  • Making clear the value of the services VASA provides.
  • Securing, and if possible, increase the current level of funding.
• Seek other funding opportunities.

As financial security and governance is paramount to the charity the appointee must:

• Ensure full compliance (Charities Commission and Companies House).

Job Purpose

As the Marketing and Communications Lead at Gaddum, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering Gaddum’s marketing and communications strategy. Your work will raise awareness of our services and amplify the voices of those we support, helping to change perceptions around mental health, carers and community support.

Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on strategic campaign planning, media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and brand management. You will ensure that Gaddum’s brand and voice are consistently represented across all channels – internally and externally – and that our values are effectively communicated.

Main Duties

Strategy and collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams, SLT and external partners (including brand, communications, digital, media agencies, and national campaigns).
