Disability Action in Islington (DAII) is a local, user-led Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO) supporting disabled residents to live independently, access their rights, and thrive. Our advice and advocacy services are free, trauma-informed, and rooted in the social model of disability.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Information & Advice Services Coordinator to lead the delivery of our community advice service. This role is ideal for someone who brings both frontline advice experience and the confidence to support a small team working with people facing multiple barriers.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver rights-based support across welfare benefits, housing, health and social care — and help us prepare for Advice Quality Standard (AQS) accreditation.

About the Role

As Information & Advice Services Coordinator, you will:

• Co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of DAII’s advice and information service
• Provide direct support to clients with complex or ongoing needs
• Support colleagues and volunteers in dealing with multi-issue casework
• Ensure records are kept accurately and support monitoring and reporting
• Build partnerships with statutory and voluntary services to provide joined-up support

Who We’re Looking

For This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, empathetic, and committed to justice and inclusion. You’ll need to balance coordination with frontline delivery, while supporting others to grow.

Essential:

• At least 18 months’ experience in advice, advocacy or support work
• Knowledge of key issues affecting disabled people, including welfare rights, housing, and social care
• Excellent digital and administrative skills, including using case management systems
• Experience working with people with complex needs and navigating multi-agency support

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our vibrant and friendly finance team.  You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the transactional processing of all expenditure and payments, making sure that the correct authorisations have been provided. About the Role

The Legal Officer will be an integral part of the UK Litigation team and will work closely with external legal teams to advance our cases and ensure coordination of legal actions in line with Reprieve’s strategic goals. They will be responsible for administration and maintenance of casefiles and key case management documents and assume certain day-to-day file management responsibilities. They will feed into case strategy discussions and will support the team by conducting and overseeing legal and factual research, drafting documents for litigation and advocacy purposes, and producing and maintaining core internal documents and records. The Legal Officer will also help advance investigations on selected cases, coordinating record collection, feeding into investigation plans and supporting other investigative work. 

In addition to working on UK legal cases, the role will encompass work on Reprieve’s cross-cutting strategic United Nations engagement and international litigation. This will involve monitoring for relevant opportunities to shape international law and working on international legal submissions, particularly before international human rights complaints mechanisms and international tribunals. 

There may also be opportunities to contribute to other areas of Reprieve’s work.

Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

We are excited to announce that in September we are opening two new clubs in the Bromley borough (location to be confirmed).  One club will be for Juniors (4-8 years) and one club for Seniors (12-16 years).  We are seeking a Supervisor for these new clubs.

This newly created role reports to Programme Delivery Manager to implement programmes supporting our autistic members. Key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting the Programme Delivery Manager on leading a range of programmes addressing members’ developmental needs. 

• Support members in personal and social development, promoting peer relationships. 

• Manage various administrative tasks including maintaining members’ needs assessments and communicating any update or changes. 

Salary Band: £8,268 per annum 

Contract Type 1-year Fixed Term contract

Working Pattern: 10 hours per week. Weekday(s) late afternoons and evenings.  School holidays mornings and afternoons. Weekend trips. 

Location: Bromley based location 

Potential attendance may be required at events and meetings outside regular working hours on an ad hoc basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Variety is looking for an experienced Office and Facilities Manager who is proactive and highly organised to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our office environment. This role blends operations, facilities management, and a bit of people-first thinking—ensuring the workspace is safe, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone. We own our building in Camden which has three floors and we intend to rent out one of the floors (one floor is c2,628sq feet). This role requires management of office building matters, tenants and general office management including assistance to CEO.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Office Management:

• Oversee daily office operations and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for office-related vendors (cleaning, supplies, security, etc.).
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes from a facilities perspective
• Handle incoming mail and deliveries and ensure efficient distribution.
• First point of contact for calls, visitors, and general office inquiries.

Governance:

• Assistance to CEO with diary coordination, organisation of events, meetings, and in-office gatherings.
• Coordination of finance committee and Trustee meetings
• Minute taking at meetings as required
• Administrative assistance as required

Facilities Management:

• Oversee building maintenance, safety procedures, and office infrastructure.
• Liaise with tenants, building management, and external contractors to ensure facilities are well-maintained.
• Monitor and manage office budgets related to supplies, utilities, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; manage risk assessments and fire safety drills.
• Lead sustainability initiatives within the office (e.g. recycling, energy-saving practices).
• Ensuring health and safety compliance for staff including being the fire marshal

Cost management

· solicit and compare competitive quotes for office services and building making recommendations based on quality, reliability, and value.

· Negotiate contracts to optimise costs without compromising service standards.

· Proactively identify areas for cost reduction or improvements.

Administrative & Support:

• Maintain records of office leases, utilities, and insurance policies.
• Manage access control systems and office security.
• Support leadership with general administrative tasks when required.
• Create and maintain facilities manuals, process documentation, and onboarding guides.

Other

· Health and safety duties including fire marshal- training will be provided.

· Undertake any other duties that may from time to time be required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Essential:

• Proven experience as an Office and Facilities Manager, or similar role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving attitude with a high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with office software (e.g. MS Office, Teams)
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
