The Individual Giving Manager will create, test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns, lead on Legacy (and in-memoriam) giving, lottery and raffle and other income streams associated with individual giving.

About You
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will work closely with colleagues across the Income Generation and Marketing teams to deliver on a positive donor/ supporter experience with the aim of retention of current supporters for the long-term as well as acquisition of new donors, maximising the potential of all of our supporters. It forms a central part of the overall fundraising strategy, with the ultimate aim of growing our individual giving income to increase the impact of the charity and benefit those needing support in pregnancy, pregnancy loss or in the early years of having a baby.

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to own the transition to a new, user-centred Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, Bynder, at a pivotal moment in our modernisation journey.
Working with the Senior Product Manager for Brand Systems, you'll ensure Bynder evolves to meet user and organisational needs, acting as our central hub for visual brand assets. You'll support data migration, contribute to metadata and tagging strategies, and help improve our current processes to strengthen the Brand & Marketing team's vision and responsibilities.
You'll work closely with our communications teams, as well as colleagues across the organisation in frontline science, membership and fundraising roles. You'll also manage and support relationships with creative and strategic partners to make sure our systems deliver imagery that reflects the breadth of our conservation work and the diversity of the communities we represent for nature.
This is a new role with the opportunity to shape how we look after one of our most important resources, our brand visual identity, and to help colleagues across the organisation make the most of it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the day-to-day product owner for Bynder, configuring permissions and workflows.
- Maintain a simple backlog of user feedback and system developments, prioritising improvements in line with brand and organisational goals.
- Support the configuration and ongoing optimisation of Bynder to meet internal user needs across brand, marketing and communications teams, as well as the wider organisation and creative and commercial partners.

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.
As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.
You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. Partnership Development Manager Scope
- The team is split between full time and part time PDMs.

Role:
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
- Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
- To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region.
- To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
- Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre.
- To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
- Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
- To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities.
- To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
- To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.
- To advocate and make introductions where appropriate for Church talks, CCT and fundraising opportunities.

What's the role about?
As part of the RSPB’s 2030 strategy, we need to inspire many more, and more diverse people to take action for nature. Community Fundraising is a crucial channel to activate financial support from new audiences, and the Community Fundraising Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of our new portfolio of fundraising products and to ensure the Community Fundraising team is embedded into new ways of working.
The role will be responsible for the smooth running of the team’s systems and delivery of products, and the ongoing monitoring of best practices and compliance across the community fundraising operation. This is an exciting time to join a team that is redefining its income stream.
Key activities will include:
- Responsibility for the management and operation of current Community Fundraising team and contribution to the delivery of products that are in the delivery pipeline.
- Define, allocate and manage work and responsibilities to line reports in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Monitor and review the work of line reports against KPIS to deliver operational work and ensure budget and best practices are met.
- Contribute to development of expertise provided to the business, monitoring external developments identifying risks and opportunities in order to facilitate continuous improvement in delivery of the RSPB’s strategy.
- Work with other RSPB teams to embed existing and new processes and systems (such as CRM) to enhance efficiency and future-proof the ways of working of the team.
- Contribute to effective stakeholder management that facilitates collaborative external and internal relationships with appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop own skills and capabilities within Community Fundraising to achieve high performance, celebrating successes and promoting the RSPB’s values and positive culture at all times.
- Provide technical expertise and analysis of the external context within Community Fundraising products to ensure standards as well as priorities are developed in line with business need and industry trends.
- Contribute to the definition of and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, organisational policy & frameworks and best practice fundraising standards within Community Fundraising.
- Responsibility for the management and operation of established Community Fundraising products and contribution to the delivery of new work.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
Essential knowledge
- Detailed knowledge and experience of onboarding new systems (such as CRM), best practices and methodologies relevant to the role.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the operational requirement relevant to the role.
Essential skills
- Effective written and communication skills.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues through change.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 10.
- Ability to influence others.
- Financial skills, sufficient to track a fundraising budget against target.
Essential experience
- Experience of and ability to understand, conceptualise and interpret the technical requirements of staff, volunteers and other stakeholders.
- Experience of working independently and resolving unforeseen issues and challenges.
- Experience of planning and progressing work activities within industry guidelines or organisational policy, occasionally applying initiative and independent judgement.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience in Community Fundraising and/or the charity sector.
- Experience managing volunteers.
- Experience of remote management.
- Knowledge of the Fundraising Regulator’s guidelines.
