Main purpose of post
This is a key support role to the Marketing Manager and Campaigns Manager,
having primary responsibility for the charity’s graphic design work.
Our marketing team raises awareness of our services and grant-giving to
potential beneficiaries and the wider community, support our fundraising
campaigns, and generally promotes Weston Park Cancer Charity throughout
South Yorkshire and beyond.
This is a key role to bring our stories and campaigns to life. You’ll play a key role
in visually communicating our message, developing design assets for both
print and digital platforms, and helping us maintain a strong and consistent
visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Brand
Create visual assets for online and offline use, including brochures, reports,
social media graphics, infographics, posters, and fundraising materials.
Ensure all designs are aligned with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Respond to, discuss and meet design briefs, provided by the Marketing
team.
Digital Media Support
Design social media templates and email campaign visuals.
Support in producing visuals for our website and e-newsletters.
Campaign and Event Materials
Develop design concepts for campaigns and charity events.
Produce signage, presentations, and promotional materials for fundraising
and awareness activities.
Collaborative Working
Work closely with a range of colleagues across the marketing, fundraising
team, and service teams.
Liaise with printers and external suppliers as needed.
Asset Management
Maintain a well-organised library of design files and templates.

Main purpose of post
To support accurate financial administration and effective donor data
management. This role is vital to ensuring that income from donations is
processed promptly and accurately, enabling timely thank-you
communications and excellent donor stewardship. The role will also undertake
data work to enable the charity to manage its data effectively, monitor its
service delivery and impact.
Key responsibilities
Donation Processing & Stewardship Support
Accurately process all cash and cheque income batches into our
fundraising CRM and finance systems.
Process and code incoming donations from a range of sources, including
online platforms (e.g JustGiving, Raisely, PayPal, Stripe, CAF, Enthuse).
Ensure all funds are banked in a timely manner and act as the main
contact for arranging cash collections.
Maintain and update the donor database with accurate donation records
and supporter details.
Process supporter Gift Aid declarations and assist with submission of Gift
Aid claims.
Liaise with the fundraising and communications teams to ensure donors
are thanked promptly and appropriately.
Flag anomalies or issues with donation data to relevant staff to maintain
high standards of data quality and supporter care.
Finance Administration
Support the monthly reconciliation of income between finance systems.
Support the Finance Executives with processing purchase invoices, staff
expenses, and supplier payments in accordance with charity procedures,
as needed.
Support monthly and quarterly finance reports and audits as required.
Data Management
Ensure high standards of accuracy and integrity of CRMs and finance
databases through regular data cleaning and maintenance.
Help compile reports for funders, internal monitoring, and annual
accounts.
Assist the Data and Systems Manager with reviewing existing systems
and processes to identify opportunities for improvements.
Follow GDPR and internal data handling policies when processing
supporter and financial information.
General administration and collaboration
Work closely with colleagues in data, finance and fundraising.
Undertake other administrative duties as required by the line manage

Trusts Officer
A great opportunity has risen for a Trusts Officer to support our ambitious 5-year strategy by building relationships with Trusts + Foundations, engaging new supporters with our cause and ensuring existing supporters receive first-class stewardship.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
You will take ownership of your own portfolio of Trusts + Foundations with the capacity to donate up to £10k, leading on all stages of the cultivation cycle from prospect identification to stewardship to retain existing supporters and generate new business. Proactive and tenacious, you will enjoy building relationships with funders via phone and email, using this insight to craft compelling and inspiring proposals and update reports which match funder interests.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be organised, creative, and able to manage competing deadlines across a varied portfolio. You will have robust IT skills, with experience of using a CRM system to update and maintain accurate donor records.

This post is offered as a 10 month fixed term contract, or secondment for internal applicants.
We are looking for a Complex Caseworker to join the Bristol High Stability Housing team. In this role you will work with a fixed group or identified people who are referred to the scheme who require a specialist intervention and multi-disciplinary approach to secure sustainable outcomes.
In this role you will work with the Service Manager and alongside local services. You will take responsibility for carrying a caseload and supporting the day to day delivery of the scheme. You will work towards delivering outcomes which focus on sustaining accommodation, improving health and wellbeing, engaging and sustaining formal treatment for substance misuse, and securing a range of educational and employment opportunities including volunteering. You will work with the Rough Sleeping Navigator Coordinator to:
- Be the single point of contact while supporting clients through the transition into independent tenancies.
- Build and maintain working relationships with agencies and individuals who can aid clients in sustaining their recovery and meeting outcomes.
- Work with colleagues to find ways to address support needs for individual clients such as improving life skills, tenancy sustainment, employment and education, and building recovery networks with agencies, peers and from within the community.
- Provide evidence based information on desired outcomes.

Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with our client to help them recruit for an interim Head of Fundraising to join their team. The organisation is a charity founded in 2018 by families bereaved by gambling-related suicide. They operate the UK's only specialist support service for people affected by gambling-related suicide. Their work prevents gambling-related harm for those who gamble and prevents those impacted by a gambling-related suicide from suffering additional harm.
This role is offered on a flexible 6-month contract basis paying a salary between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum pro rata with remote working arrangements and occasional staff meetings.
The Head of Fundraising is responsible for developing and delivering the fundraising strategy to support the charity’s work across its programme areas, including the family support, research, and prevention. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and colleagues across the organisation to deliver a multi-income stream plan. This role is split across two impactful organisations:
Black Thrive Global (BTG) works to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black communities. We embed race equity in systems change and co-create solutions alongside communities.
Just Like Us (JLU) is the UK’s LGBT+ young people’s charity, empowering 18–25-year-olds to share their experiences in schools and improve LGBT+ inclusion through peer-led talks and ambassador programmes.
This joint role represents an exciting partnership between two organisations committed to racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion and systemic transformation.
1. Just Like Us (3.5 days/week): To support the delivery of Just Like Us’ Ambassador and School Talks programmes – including recruitment, training and coordination of young LGBT+ volunteers and engaging with schools to foster inclusive environments.
2. Black Queer & Thriving: There is potential for this role to expand in scope (up to 1.5 additional days per week), subject to funding. Should this occur, the role may include additional responsibilities in line with the aims of the Black LGBTQ+ Working Group and Southwark engagement priorities. Any change in working hours or duties would be discussed and agreed in advance.

The Role
