About the role
The Analysis Directorate is a team of around 50 analysts and data professionals at the heart of the Foundation’s mission. We use innovative analytical approaches to understand the health of the UK population and the performance of the health and care system. Our work informs policy, evaluates interventions, and supports improvement across the sector. We also empower analysts across the Foundation with access to high-quality data, tools, and platforms.
We are seeking a Data Delivery Lead to drive the implementation of our data strategy and lead the delivery of our data platforms and infrastructure. This is a pivotal role within the Analysis Directorate, focused on enabling the work of our Data Team — a group of data engineering and data management specialists.
You will oversee the rollout and improvement of key platforms including our Secure Data Environment (SDE), Open Data Environment (ODE), and Trends platform. You’ll manage supplier relationships, coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, and ensure our data systems are secure, user-focused, and strategically aligned.

LOCATION OF THE POST HOLDER
The post holder will be required to work from our drop-in space and office in Central Glasgow and will have flexibility to work from home. There may be occasional travel throughout Scotland and the UK as part of the role, including to NUM’s main offices in Manchester. All equipment required for remote working will be provided and costs for travel outside of normal working spaces will be reimbursed by NUM.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an outstanding organiser and communicator to manage NUMbrella Lane (NBL) in Glasgow. NUMbrella Lane has been operating since 2022 after NUM took over aspects of the programming from the charity that ran Umbrella Lane. Since then, the project has evolved to provide in-person health and wellbeing support to Scotland-based sex workers and host events and outings within the community with a focus on community connectivity, reducing isolation and addressed root causes of interpersonal and intersectional violence. NBL is one of few sex worker-led services in the region and we seek innovative leadership that will execute our framework for change, build on partnerships, increase financial resources, and improve the service to the quality requested by communities of sex workers who live in or tour Scotland.
The post holder is a key point of contact who will further develop health testing services and other material support with, by and for sex workers. The NBL manager will co-design service delivery plans based on the needs of the community and NUM’s larger strategic vision; support the work of the Victim Support Case Worker based at NUMbrella Lane, the Mental Health Support Service Coordinator, and a new post, the Vocational Support Worker. The manager will be required to ensure the delivery of regular drop-in sessions, outings and events, and digital services in consultation with sex workers in Scotland and collaborate with the Manager of Support Services to support Victim and Vocational case work services to Glaswegians.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years’ experience as a manager in a position of public trust or in other leadership roles, have an excellent track record in program management and community development. Experience in or knowledge of adult industries is highly desirable. We value lived experience and welcome applicants with insight into the sector, but we do not require applicants to disclose personal histories. Experience with charity sector fund development and community development among marginalised communities are an asset.
The NBL manager must be knowledgeable about sex workers’ lived experiences, the socio-legal and political contexts within which sex workers and NUM are situated, and the ability to navigate a difficult terrain towards improving the systems, structures and services that influence the health and wellbeing of sex workers in Scotland in service to our mandate to 'end all forms of violence against sex workers' and eliminate the conditions that lead to poverty and survival sex work.
ABOUT NUM
National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is a UK-wide charity providing victim/survivor support and violence prevention services to sex workers, to ensure greater access to justice and protection. We serve sex workers of all genders, backgrounds and modes of work. We offer a digital tools reporting and alerting mechanism to warn sex workers about dangerous individuals who may target them; online screening tools; and individualised support for those who experience harm from a specialist team of Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) and other experts. Some of this victim support work is done within formal partnerships with sister organisation. We run a wellbeing drop-in service in Glasgow and other in-person services and events in Manchester and London. We have developed Vocational Support Services for those exploring careers both in and outside of sex industries and we run a Racial Justice project that visibilises the lived experiences of harm among racialised sex workers towards systems change. We are currently enhancing services for sex workers who are 18-25 years of age and those under 30.
NUM values those with lived experience in sex industries and work with them to shape services and responses, conduct research, develop education packages, and participate in policy advocacy to change the conditions that lead to survival sex work, gain rights and recognition, and improve the safety of UK-based sex workers.
NUM is run by our CEO and governance is provided by a board of Trustees.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' work experience as a manager or coordinator leading implementation of projects and services to marginalised populations with experience being responsible for environments and services.

Proven people management skills, including line management, supervision and coaching of staff and volunteers

Experience in project and partnership development, budgeting and fundraising.

Monitoring and evaluation skills, including data collection and reporting to funders.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to problem-solve and be proactive, within busy and challenging work environments.

A deep understanding of marginalisation and the health, safety and rights issues confronting sex workers in Scotland, as it relates to programming priorities, advocacy and partnerships.

High quality administrative skills and experience working with digital programs to document activities, deliver tasks on time and on budget. Specifically, proficiency with CRM systems, applications and digital platforms and services, particularly Google Workplace, the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Slack, Trello, and other project management programs and tools.

We’re looking for a Temporary Administration Assistant to join us for the Poppy Appeal 2025, supporting one of the UK’s best-known and most meaningful fundraising campaigns. Duties will include:
- Data entry - logging donor payments, recording communications and orders received from existing volunteers and new supporters and creating new records

- Interacting with members of the public and volunteers by email and on the telephone ensuring the charity’s high standards of customer service are maintained
- Coordinating selected Poppy Appeal collection activities at various venues in and around the Greater Glasgow area between 20th October – 11th November

- Overseeing the distribution schedule of the Temporary Drivers on a daily basis
- Occasionally accompanying the Driver whilst delivering and collecting in Central Glasgow and other areas of West Scotland

Reporting to the Poppy Appeal Organiser, this role is offered on a basic contract of 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 3.30pm, with some flexibility required to meet business needs. Occasional weekend work may be necessary, including Saturday 8th November, 9.00am - 4.30pm.

As Senior Communications Officer, you will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications to help plan, create and deliver, with the help of specialists across teams, the Trust’s annual communication plan.
You’ll be responsible for leading communications projects, campaigns and day-to-day activities. You will be delivering creative content and marketing across a range of platforms - both digital and offline –that support the Trust’s Wilder 2030 strategy and showcases the Trust’s work. This will result in bringing nature’s story to life in order to expand the charity’s reach into new and wider audiences and bringing new supporters on board.
You will be able to think creatively, within a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, as well as be comfortable delivering key tasks and mucking in when all hands are needed on deck.
You will be comfortable with the relevant platform analytics to report on progress against agreed key performance indicators.
This senior role is for a highly creative, confident, robust and professional communications individual, who will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications and wider team to help plan, create and activate the Trust’s annual communication plan.

- Deliver creative communications activities and branded digital content campaigns across the Trust’s key communications channels to increase the Trust’s reach, develop new audiences and convert initial awareness of SWT into measurable engagement/action for nature.

- Track analytics and create regular reports detailing effectiveness of communications campaigns and our digital channels.
- Day to day guidance and project oversight for the wider communications team to support them to deliver a high-quality service to the wider organisation and inspire innovation and improvement in all that the team delivers.
Job Description – Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibility 1: Leading Digital Channels
- Designing and implementation of SWT’s digital and social media content plan (for both paid and organic content) with the support of the Content & Communications Officer, ensuring it complements the Trust’s overall Wilder Somerset 2030 strategic goals and objectives, marketing plans, key campaigns, engagement and fundraising activity. Driving the high performance and growth of SWT’s social channels – ensuring increasing engagement and reach.
- Working with and supporting the Content & Communications Officer to create a calendar of high-quality engaging, range of content for sharing across internal and external marketing communications channels in support of the strategic vision, ensuring consistency in terms of tone of voice, branding, messaging and frequency of communications across all key channels. The Senior Communications Officer’s social media content plan will aim to grow all SWT’s social media and digital communities and increase organic engagement.
- Expanding reach to bring new supporters on board with the Trust’s mission, to get involved with SWT’s work across the county, take action for nature, and to grow membership and income.
- Working closely with the Website & Email Lead to understand and optimise user journeys and conversions between social channels and the website, and providing support and counsel to the Website & Email Lead with regards to the delivery of impactful email campaigns to support key integrated projects, campaigns and core strategy programmes. Also providing support and guidance on ensuring the website is as effective a channel as it should be as a central destination hub for social and digital journeys.
- Liaising with the Wildlife Trust (RSWT) central office to ensure central content and advocacy campaigns are delivered as agreed on local social channels with local messaging and that the Somerset message is clear, with the use of local case studies and stories.
- With the Content & Communications Officer, and liaising with external providers where necessary, providing brand design support for communications collateral, reports, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters and presentations. Using appropriate software (e.g., Canva, Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for a range of audiences, creating templates where appropriate for internal staff to utilise to deliver small-scale projects independently.
Responsibility 2: Marketing & PR
- Marketing opportunities including a range of channels from print, media, events to paid online adverts.
- Developing strong relationships with local and national journalists and be the lead day-to-day SWT media contact for press enquiries, with the Content & Communications Officer taking on administrative press office tasks and handling some incoming queries.
- Recommending and developing feature ideas for key publications working up ideas with colleagues across the Trust, selling in stories, and coordinating the provision of spokespeople, background information and logistics.
- Working with, and providing guidance to the Content & Communications Officer, creating and distributing targeted press releases or media alerts where appropriate, following up with key media contacts to maximise coverage and amplify SWT’s successes and impact.
- Be alert and responsive to the news agenda, keeping abreast of issues affecting the Trust and identifying PR opportunities and trends on social media that SWT can engage with, whilst also horizon planning for key contentious issues so as to provide PR support during crisis and major issues.
Responsibility 3: Project Management & Reporting
- With excellent project management and coordination skills you will work with internal stakeholders to design, coordinate and deliver bespoke plans to support a range of key projects across the year such as appeals, big events, campaigns and nature recovery projects.
- Working with the team to deliver any relevant communications training or resources to make available to staff.
- Supervising the monitoring and measurement of campaigns and their success, and reporting key KPIs to internal stakeholders on a monthly basis.
- Internal communications - updating the staff portal on Sharepoint with regards to communication assets, training and resources.
- Representing the Communications Team along with others across the Trust as part of the Trust’s project management working group, feeding back on best practice and new innovations that result in a consistent approach to project management.

Job Purpose
As an Evening Women’s Shelter Worker, you’ll be part of the team running Glass Door’s women’s night shelter. Working alongside other staff and volunteers, you’ll engaged with guests throughout the evening, helping to create a safe, calm, and welcoming space where women experiencing homelessness can rest and be treated with dignity.
You’ll greet guests, support the evening set-up, carry out regular checks around the venue, and offer kind, practical help. When issues arise, you’ll respond calmly — whether that’s offering reassurance, guiding someone through a difficult moment, or addressing challenging behaviour. You’ll record key information so the overnight team and caseworkers can follow up.
Most evenings are steady and focused on guest support, but there can be moments of pressure. Training is provided so you feel confident and prepared. You’ll finish with a clear handover with the overnight team so the shelter runs smoothly through the night.

What You’ll Do
You’ll help make sure the women’s night shelter is safe, supportive, and welcoming for everyone staying with us. This is an on-site, evening role. Your main responsibilities will include:

Welcoming and supporting guests – Create a friendly, respectful atmosphere and build positive relationships with guests, volunteers, and colleagues.

Welcoming and engaging with guests – Take a proactive approach to being present and approachable throughout the evening, starting conversations, offering support, and helping create a safe and respectful atmosphere.

Responding to situations – Manage issues as they arise, such as someone feeling unwell, experiencing emotional distress, or challenging behaviour. This may sometimes mean seeking guidance from the Night Shelter Manager or calling emergency services. Training will be provided.

Keep the shelter safe and secure – Follow all safety, security, and health & safety procedures and make sure the space stays tidy and free from hazards.

Recording important information – Write clear, accurate shift notes and incident reports (if needed) in our In-Form system so colleagues have up-to-date information.

Working as a team – Maintain good communication with the Night Shelter Manager volunteers and other colleagues during your shift.

Handover to the overnight team – Participate in a brief, handover meeting at the end of your shift so key information is shared.

Training and meetings – Attend occasional in-person training sessions, team meetings, or other activities. You may be assigned brief online training to complete on shift from time to time.

We are looking for a Temporary Driver to join us for our Poppy Appeal 2025, helping us deliver one of the nation’s most recognised and important fundraising campaigns. Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service (Rising Sun) is an independent charity in Kent working to prevent domestic abuse and improve the lives of survivors and their children suffering from its effects. We have an ambitious vision for a world in which women and children live free from actual or threatened domestic abuse and all forms of violence.
Our team provide a range of services to adults and children who’ve experienced domestic abuse. We understand the impact of domestic abuse on survivors, so we listen to individual needs and respond in a trauma informed way. We provide one-to-one support and also deliver therapeutically informed group programmes to help survivors to recognise healthy/unhealthy behaviours in relationships and to understand the impact of domestic abuse. Bringing survivors together validates experiences and enables them to draw strength from one another.
JOB PURPOSE
As one of our High Support Needs IDVAs you will be part of our experienced and dedicated adult team reporting to the HSN IDVA Manager covering the Ashford District area, and your role will include a mixture of remote and office working. You’ll be providing a high-quality, frontline service to survivors of domestic abuse and play a crucial role in advocacy, risk assessment, safety planning and empowerment for our clients with more complex needs. You will assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse which are impacting their situation, and help them to regain control of their lives. You will support them to make informed and safe choices and to move forward.
Alongside working with survivors, you will develop and maintain productive relationships with partner organisations to strengthen multi-agency working and improve service outcomes for survivors.
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting people who is confident, resilient and has the ability to build strong relationships.
You will have experience of delivering domestic abuse interventions with survivors, including some whose individual circumstances are more complex. This might include clients with issues such as homelessness, poor mental health or drugs and alcohol use.
The nature of this work and being exposed to survivors’ trauma and challenges can have a negative impact on our own wellbeing as support workers, and therefore good self-awareness and the ability to recognise our own needs and put in place appropriate boundaries is essential. All team members are expected to exercise self-care and attend regular clinical supervision to mitigate the potential impact of vicarious trauma.

Central to this role is continuing to drive the shift from a crisis-led service model to a holistic, strengths-based approach, ensuring the RenewALL hub empowers Newham residents to connect, grow, and thrive. A major part of this transformation will be designing and delivering a wide range of new activities and services. Crucially, the Hub will not just deliver activities for residents but will be co-designed and co-produced with them, embedding lived experience and the voice of the community at its core. Success will depend on your ability to build and lead a coherent, motivated team of staff and volunteers, uniting them behind the shared vision of the Hub. You will work to create a welcoming space that reflects the ambitions of our Open House strategy, where dignity, inclusion, collaboration and empowerment are lived out in every interaction.
