Job Title: Senior Finance Coordinator
Salary: £37,500 plus Study Assistance
Responsible To: Finance Manager
Hours: 35 Hours per Week

Job Purpose
To manage the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and providing support in the preparation of financial reports. This includes processing of both purchase and sales invoices and the reconciliation of the books of prime entry. You will assist senior members of the finance team at month end and year end.
Main Duties
1. Go through relevant financial procedures as necessary with new staff.
2. Set up and train new starters on the purchase order system.
3. Review and post all monthly petty cash and prepaid card returns per the management accounts timetable.
4. Maintain the Purchase Ledger making any changes necessary such as name and bank details with the necessary correct documentation.
5. Maintain the Sales Ledger making any changes necessary such as name and bank details with the necessary correct documentation.
6. To clear accounts payable queries daily
7. Answer queries via telephone and e-mail relating to creditors and payment of invoices.
8. Reconcile monthly the balances on the creditor ledger and supplier statements.
9. Prepare BACS run with supporting documentation
10. Document processes used in the Finance function to support the ongoing development of the department and ensure that potential efficiencies are maximised.
11. Support the of Director of Finance with the Business Partnering approach to non finance colleagues.
12. Reconciling the Aged Debt report at month end to the General Ledger ensuring all payments are allocated and providing notes on any outstanding debt and action being taken for recovery.
13. Collecting Payment and managing the credit control function for both Field Lane and Fun.
14. Ensuring all Fee invoices are properly raised accurately for all Client Services
15. Ensure all rent and service charges are billed accurately.
16. To act as a point of reference for guardians when it comes to invoices queries and rent and service charge increases.
17. Produce weekly report showing voids per project and distribute to senior management team.
18. Produce monthly analysis showing the fees received compared with fees expected by client and to raise any adverse variances with the director of finance.
General
· Complying with Field Lane’s policies and procedures at all times.
· Covering and supporting other members of the team as necessary.
· Attending and participating in team meetings and other meetings as required.
· Being proactive in reflecting on own performance and identifying and acting upon areas for improvement and development.

About the role:
The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. One of the main purposes of the role is to bring together agencies to ensure that local systems are truly keeping survivors safe, holding perpetrators to account, and preventing domestic abuse. A key principle of the post is respecting the independence of each agency and ensuring the MARAC’s key principles are survivor’s and children’s safety, offender accountability and giving a clear message that domestic abuse is s crime that will not be tolerated. The post holder will be located in Brent, and will meet MARAC partners in a variety of settings in the community. The post holder will also spend time raising awareness of the service, domestic abuse, and the MARAC in addition to training agencies on the MARAC and inducting new MARAC representatives on the MARAC.
The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. The post holder will also have a good understanding of managing a project.
About You:
To be successful as the MARAC Co-ordinator you will need the below experience and skills:
Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC.
Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures and legislation
A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and anti-discriminatory practice, safe practice and health and safety procedures
Experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals
A clear understanding of the coordinated community response to domestic violence and abuse, how it relates to MARAC in particular, and experience of the purpose and workings of MARAC
Experience of supervision/coaching of staff or volunteers, of managing performance and achieving targets through review of individual and team practice
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; including report writing, data collection and monitoring
Good understanding of managing a project

We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease.
PVD is a serious condition which can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting and light-headedness. It can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised, or well-understood.
We bring together an international network of professionals to improve clinical care, education and PVD research. The network comprises thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry partners, supported by our small team in Bermondsey, London. We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.
The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.
The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.
You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Job Purpose: To support the CHS Alliance secretariat to ensure it delivers professional external events that meet the needs of our key audiences and advance our strategic goals, on time and within budget. Primary focus of this role will be the coordination and logistical management of the General Assembly in December 2024.
Background: The Events Coordinator role sits within the Network Engagement and Communications department and works closely with staff across the CHS Alliance, including those working on CHS outreach, HR/Governance and the Executive Director, on events organisation and delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
Event coordination
1. Coordinate the team and workplan to support smooth and timely delivery of key CHS Alliance events, with particular focus on the General Assembly (GA) taking place in Bangkok 5-6 December 2024.
2. Prepare and attend event working group meetings (e.g. set agenda, organise doodle polls, book conference rooms, take notes, etc.)
3. Overseeing and updating the event workplan (e.g. gannt chart), flagging upcoming milestones and deadlines to event lead
Event logistics
4. Assist in identifying service providers by providing quotes and completing any other tasks requested by the line manager or event lead.
5. Procure supplies for event and ensure all material needed on site is prepared and up to date.
6. Follow up with the venues; liaise with the venue prior to, during and after the events.
7. Assist with all logistical aspects linked to catering, refreshments, room equipment (incl. audio visual), stationery, signs and identification (badges, etc.), and trip booking (hotels, flights, visa) where required, etc.
Communications & IT
8. Set up events on relevant platform (e.g. Zoom, CHS Alliance website)
9. Prepare and update registrations and participants’ lists
10. Draft and send communication materials to participants, using software like Mailmerge or Mailchimp

We are now recruiting for a new role in the Resources Team within the Crisis at Christmas Team to support with coordinating the material donations needed to set up and run Crisis at Christmas centres and services.
