This is an exciting opportunity to join our service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers, completing statutory and holistic assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need. You will carry out home visits and community meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Unpaid Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Unpaid Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. Experience of working in mental health or dementia services would be an advantage.
You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others. This is a full-time role.

Job Title: Activities Coordinator
Location: Face to face delivery, based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) - Local Stations: Westbourne Park and Ladbroke Grove (Circle & Hammersmith and City lines)
Salary: £32,600
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may also be required to work evenings and bank holidays as required.
About the role
We are looking for an Activities Coordinator to work across multiple services within the area, to manage the running and coordination of regular activities, events, and trips for our residents. Our service provides support to residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will line manage a team of 2 peer support mentors. Our Peer Mentor role is designed for people who have lived experience of that faced by our residents. You will support with all aspects of line management and wellbeing support, ensuring they are well supported within their role.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will coordinate and deliver high quality activities and programmes which work in support to individual support places and goals, by creating a calendar of activities, celebrations, awareness months/days/weeks and events to encourage social skills and community engagement. You will also maintain effective stakeholder relationships, find new partnerships, and create a catalogue of partners which are easily accessible.
About you
We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who have multiple and complex needs, with a drive to help support those who suffer with homelessness, mental health, and substance use. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs.
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs.
- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector
- Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
- Ability to lead a team, and support them in achieving outcomes necessary for personal and professional outcomes

About the Role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, training, support and coordination of our team of volunteers, working closely with operational managers and the volunteer team to ensure that volunteer activity contributes to PHQ’s charitable objectives and is enjoyable and fulfilling for the volunteer team. There are currently over 100 volunteers whose work centres around Boathouse 4, our boat collection in the workshop and afloat on our pontoons, and care for Porters Garden, a calm space enjoyed by visitors and staff work in the dockyard.
This role involves operational planning, volunteer engagement, scheduling, and data management, with a strong focus on volunteer recognition, development, and communication.
We will consider applications for part-time employment for 30+ hours per week.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate prior experience of coordinating volunteer activity in the charitable sector, with good knowledge of safety and risk management procedures, and strong communication and organisational skills; underpinned by high level administrative and IT skills.

Brent Food Bank can only function effectively with a core of volunteers who are engaged in all aspects of the foodbank's operation. Energy Action Redhill and Reigate (EARR) is dedicated to improving home energy efficiency across East Surrey. We work to improve the sustainability of homes, as well as making them healthier to live in and more economical to run.
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Project Coordinator to join our Home Energy Advice Team. You will play a key role in co-ordinating a programme of home energy surveys, distribution of energy efficiency materials and helping to deliver a series of events. The post is funded through an Energy Redress grant and is part of the Surrey-wide HEAT programme, working in partnership with other voluntary organisations across Surrey.
As Project Coordinator you will play a key role in
- scheduling home energy surveys and follow up support
- liaising with residents, volunteers, and local partners
- planning and promoting community events
- monitoring and reporting on project progress and impact
Location: The role is home based; however, travel across Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge will be required to support events and home surveys.
Hours: 736 hours per year (average 16 hours per week over 46 weeks - you can manage the hours worked to suit yourself and the project. Demand for the survey service is seasonal and it is anticipated more hours will be needed over the Winter months, with fewer hours in the Summer.
Dates: Start from 23 September 2025 or earliest available date following this. This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027
Salary: £25 per hour (3% uplift from May 2026) Please note this role to be undertaken on a self-employed consultancy basis.

At Northampton Students’ Union, our Sports Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enriching the student experience through sport. By overseeing over 35 free-to-join sports clubs, they ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students, regardless of background or ability. Their responsibilities include managing sports programming, coordinating events like Varsity and Sports Awards, and fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Book internal and external facilities for training and fixtures. Ensure that the clubs use suitable facilities of an appropriate standard, while following SU procedures and maintaining good relationships with the facility provider.
- Operational responsibility for all SU affiliated sports activity, including approving risk assessment and dealing with all accident reports for sports clubs.

- Alongside an elected officer, represent Northampton Students’ Union at all BUCS regional meetings, ensuring that we are updated on University Sport development.
- To support clubs with the recruitment of all paid and volunteer coaches, and ensuring they adhere to the Coaches Code of Conduct and other supporting documents.
- Pro-actively encourage student sports leaders to record and reflect on their skill development.

NGA is an independent, not-for-profit national membership organisation for state school governors, trustees and governance professionals in England. Key responsibilities of our Marketing Coordinator will include:
- Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy for all NGA services including membership and Learning Link, aligning with NGA’s overall strategy
- Inform the development of strategy by conducting market research, including competitor analysis and market scanning, to identify new opportunities for NGA
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote NGA’s membership, training, events, and resources
- Create marketing materials such as emails, social media posts, web content, and print collateral
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Create marketing materials and content, including copywriting to promote and share NGA’s products and services across multiple channels
- Support coordinating social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts to boost engagement
- Work with designers and external agencies to produce branded marketing materials
- Ensure all content aligns with NGA’s brand guidelines and messaging
- Create email marketing campaigns using NGA’s marketing and email platforms, incorporating automation strategies to optimise engagement and lead generation

What we’re looking for in our Marketing Coordinator:
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or digital content creation
- Strong writing and editing skills for engaging content
- Social media management experience (LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and automation (Mailchimp, Dotdigital, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SEO and website content management (e.g. WordPress)

Job Purpose
This role sits within our new forensic Women’s Nova Roots service, which is a peer led service for women who are leaving forensic services, based in West London. The service will be open 3 days a week: one weekday evening out of hours and three weekends a month (flexible weekend pattern and times can be arranged).
The aim of the service is to support women who are leaving forensic care to re-integrate into society by offering a community social hub. The focus of the service is to provide social engagement, relaxation and a touch point for out of hours forensic support. The Women’s Hub will provide face-to-face holistic group support, offer psychoeducation and health workshops tailored and coproduced to the direct needs of clients, offer peer-led groups which will be co-designed and led by the clients accessing the hub. We will also offer a range of activities onsite.
Nova Roots will be an extension of the existing support offered by the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), offering out of hours social support. All referrals into the hub will be directly from the SCFTs and local hospitals.
The Nova Roots will be staffed with 1 part time Project Coordinator and 4 Forensic/Peer Led Volunteers – with Service Manager oversight. The Project Coordinator will work directly and closely with the SCFTs.
The Role
The role of the Nova Roots Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, health and peer-led workshops which will be delivered 3 times a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the 4 peer-led volunteers and oversight of the site 3 days a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will also be required to be in regular communication with the SCFTs.
The role will require hybrid working: onsite when the hub is open and 1 day of planning/coordination which can be worked remotely on a rota basis.

Person Specification
