Salary Range: £30,000-£34,000

Days/Hours per Week: 35 hours per week, working from 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. Monday to Friday.

Purpose of the Job 

We are seeking to hire 2 Individual Giving Officers. As the Individual Giving Officer, you will support the Individual Giving Managers developing our individual giving programmes, including acquisition through face to face, digital and direct mail channels and innovate within the space. The post-holder will take on specific campaigns and manage these from inception to completion including data selection, creative, print and post-campaign analysis. The role also offers a fantastic opportunity for the post-holder to help drive innovation in Individual Giving at Felix. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

The key focus of the role will be: 

1. Supporting the Individual Giving Managers with acquisition and retention activities. 
2. Taking a proactive role in supporter stewardship 
3. Insight and Evaluation 

Campaign Management – Supporter Acquisition and Retention  

• Help deliver a calendar of activities across digital and traditional channels in line with agreed budget targets  
• Campaign manage supporter updates from inception to completion including data selection, creative, print and post-campaign analysis  

Supporter Stewardship  

• Be proactive in refining and improving supporter stewardship processes and assist with updating related policies as required  
• Support the supporter care team with queries where required  
• Take a lead in updating and monitoring the Fundraising complaints log  

Developing in Legacy giving programme 

• Support in the development of an effective legacy acquisition and stewardship programme.  

Insight & Evaluation 

•  Produce post-campaign reports and make recommendations on refining approaches to improve overall performance 
•  Monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate drop-offs  

Collaboration  

• Work with Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager on new income-generation opportunities  
• Work with the Marketing team to maximise opportunities utilising social media platforms  

General  

• Understanding of the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, data protection and other relevant legislation, guidance and good practice 

Essential Criteria 

• Proven track record of campaign management across Individual Giving, across both acquisition and retention methods. 
• Previous experience of creating supporter journeys that have reduced attrition rates and increased supporter engagement. 
• Experience of using supporter databases for audience segmentation and insight. 
• Experience of supporter (or customer) care and managing queries and complaints. 
• Good numeracy and Excel skills. 
• Understanding of the regulatory environment for fundraising, including data protection, codes of fundraising practice and Gift Aid. Not essential but please state if you have experience with Gambling Protection laws and regulations (including LCCP). 
• Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, and to work independently within a small team. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
• A passion for fighting food waste and food inequality.

The primary aim of this role is to help Money and Mental Health secure the income it needs to deliver its mission and further strengthen the charity’s financial footing for the future. This is a crucial role in our new Fundraising team, and the successful candidate will work across all elements of our income generation activities - from grant-writing to donor stewardship and pipeline development.

The role will have a particular focus on securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, but there will also be ample opportunities to engage corporate partners and other prospective funders. 

The successful candidates will have the chance to bring their ideas in terms of identifying new routes to funding for the organisation and shaping our income generation activities.

Key responsibilities:

Funding bids and proposals

• Draft and develop effective and impactful fundraising bids and proposals to secure both grant income and corporate sponsorship

• Project manage the process of developing funding proposals - including completing funding checklists, coordinating the team on relevant deadlines and booking in time for sign off from relevant colleagues.

Relationship management

• Play a key role in donor stewardship alongside Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including grant makers, corporates and individual donors

• Support SLT in identifying - and building relationships with - relevant individuals within prospective funder organisations - including coordinating meetings.

• Ensure we stay on top of our grant requirements, including drafting grant reports and coordinating other team members to fulfil those requirements

• Work with External Affairs team to create excellent supporter journeys for online donors.

Pipeline development

• Work with Head of Fundraising to undertake research into new fundraising prospects and to develop a strong funder pipeline

• Stay on top of new developments in the charity sector and wider funding landscape

• Make recommendations to Head of Fundraising on new funders we should engage with or seek to build relationships with

• Maintain accurate pipeline data and prospect records, ensuring regular updates

Planning, strategy and vision

• Contribute to the delivery of our income generation strategy - including meeting relevant targets set out in the strategy. 

• Support the team with advance planning on funding bids, project managing complex cross-team processes, matrix-managing small project teams and ensuring all key milestones are met 

• Proactively suggest ideas for ways of improving our processes and ways of working to better support our income generation targets or better deliver our work.

About you:

We’re seeking someone who is ambitious, driven and emotionally intelligent. We need a relationship-builder and a clear and concise communicator, ready to step into an exciting new role and help build a fundraising function which leaves a lasting legacy.

Essential qualities 

• A proven track record of securing five-figure grants or income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate partners.

• A demonstrable track record of writing impactful and effective funding proposals, and leading the end-to-end process of applying for grants and reporting on those received 

• Strong copywriting skills, and the ability to articulate the impact from donations

• Excellent project management skills 

• Solid relationship management skills, with the ability to lead donor stewardship and develop excellent working relationships with key teams internally

• A genuine commitment to the organisation’s mission, as well as to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a busy to-do list

• Ability and desire to be hands-on and get stuck in

• Excellent attention to detail, record-keeping and commitment to high standards.

Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to supercharge First Give’s next phase of income growth. Head of Individual Giving

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.

You’ll also play a key role in developing new fundraising products, optimising donor journeys, and ensuring our CRM and data systems support excellent stewardship and insight-driven decision making. This is a senior position with significant scope to shape the programme and make your mark.

Volunteering Mass Engagement Lead (x2)
Full time (34.5 hours), we are open to a conversation about how you work these hours 

12 month fixed term contract (please note, we may also have a third role on a 9 month fixed term contract with the possibility of part time hours)

£26,500 - £29,500

This role is home-based with regular travel required (including some weekends) to our events and team meetings. Please be aware that some of our events are based in very remote locations so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous. There will also be some manual handling involved due to the nature of the role.

The Senior Partnership Officer will play a pivotal role in building, strengthening and diversifying Bipolar UK’s high‑value relationships, with a particular emphasis on corporate fundraising and identifying strategic, mutually beneficial collaborations that support the charity’s long‑term needs.

• Drive the growth of corporate fundraising through proactive identification, research and cultivation of new corporate prospects.

Our Time Charity is seeking an experienced Corporate Fundraiser to help grow vital income through meaningful, long-term partnerships with businesses and corporate supporters.

This role plays a key part in delivering our fundraising strategy by connecting purpose-driven organisations with our mission to support children and families affected by parental mental illness. You will build and steward corporate relationships, develop partnership and sponsorship proposals, and represent Our Time Charity to external audiences.

Context and Background

The NSPCC’s purpose is to prevent the abuse and neglect of children across the UK.

The Strategy and Knowledge (S&K) Directorate exists to help shape the world around us - and what the NSPCC does - so that it reflects what we have learned and can help keep children safe from abuse.

The Directorate is responsible for organisational strategy, developing and influencing public policy, championing an evidence-based approach in all our work, developing innovative services and managing our knowledge and information.

This role within our Policy and Public Affairs team will assist in delivering our influencing campaigns asking for public support to persuade government to change laws and policies to better protect children and young people. This exciting role will play a pivotal part supporting the team’s work so we are able to deliver large-scale, impactful campaigns in support of the NSPCC’s policy priorities and our organisational strategy.

Job purpose

This role will support the planning, delivery and evaluation of the NSPCC’s campaigns to mobilise the public behind our influencing goals and galvanise decision makers to act. The postholder will:

• Support the development of our influencing campaigns to inspire new and existing supporters to take action to keep children safe - including through research to inform the planning of campaigns and the creation and dissemination of impactful communications such as emails, social posts and supporter actions.

City Year UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager to drive new business and nurture existing corporate relationships.

Join a youth and education charity which empowers diverse 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time volunteering in schools. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, our volunteers support children who are furthest away from opportunity in the UK.

The Role

This role is central to building a strong, sustainable income pipeline and increasing support for our programmes.
