Key Responsibilities
National Growth
- Develop strategy for national growth and ensure effective delivery of strategy, with a focus on growing our work in unserved and developing regions of the UK and building a diverse range of church partners
- Engage with thinking around the intersection between social impact, employability and the church to ensure we are at the cutting edge within the sector, developing an understanding of local needs and challenges and how Resurgo can best inspire and equip partners to catalyse sustainable and impactful social change.
- Work with wider leadership team to understand and fine tune barriers to growth, including considering recruitment and operations support needed by partner churches, and funding avenues and the operation of the seed fund, which provides start-up funding to churches in the early years of launching a Spear centre.
Pipeline Development
- Identify, build, and develop relationships with potential partners through networking at Christian conferences and running our own events, identifying and introducing our work to key networks, and offering relevant coaching sessions as a means for churches to understand Resurgo’s coaching, employability and impact management.
- Introduce potential and existing partner churches to the Spear programme as a means of creating sustainable social impact in their community, particularly with young people, and provide opportunities for them to engage with the programme with a view to considering launching a centre in their own community where this is a good fit.
- Build a pipeline of potential Spear partners, and steward these relationships from the point of introduction, through to confirmation of programme launch, reporting to the Senior Leadership team against monthly KPIs and annual growth targets.
- Work closely with the Impact team and Director of External Relations to consider the ‘client’ journey of a church from point of initial interest to uptake of one of our programmes
New Centre Set-up and Implementation
- Oversee a team who project manage the launch of new Spear centres in partnership with local churches, including overseeing all
practical and operational aspects of the centre setup, recruiting new coaches, and ensuring required policies and systems
are in place.

Back Up’s vocation service aims to be the leader in supporting people with spinal cord injury to return to work and our Vocation Coordinators are the main point of contact to help service users reach their vocational goals. They work in partnership with spinal units and other stakeholders such as employers to raise aspirations, coordinating activities such as our Skills for Work courses and Careers Fair, as well as providing telephone support to service users.

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

Providing ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Employers, and maintaining strong relationships.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.

About Bookmark
Bookmark began life just over five years ago with a clear mission; they want every child to read. Currently more than one in four children are leaving primary school unable to read well. These children are more likely to drop out of school, experience unemployment, poverty, and poor mental health. Poor literacy disproportionately impacts children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and Bookmark wants to make sure that all children have access to the reading resources and support they need so they can succeed in school and beyond.
Bookmark are a wonderful organisation with big impact. About the role
As the Senior Philanthropy Lead at Bookmark, you will work with the Head of Fundraising to manage and grow our philanthropy portfolio within the wider strategy. You will lead a team of three to deliver on the fundraising strategy, line managing both the Philanthropy Manager and Senior Fundraising Executive. Your role will involve proactively researching and identifying new potential Bookmark major donors and working with trustees, staff, and the Partnerships Board to build a robust pipeline of supporters and secure introductions.
You will own and build a portfolio of new major donors through the full donor cycle who give £25,000 or more, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. You will create compelling, relevant, and tailored funding proposals, reports, and collateral to inspire and inform donors, reflecting Bookmark's strong brand. You will lead on the Philanthropy events strategy and program, providing support to the Philanthropy Manager and wider team in delivering income-generating, cultivation, and stewardship events.
In addition, you will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure opportunities to maximize income for the fundraising team. You will devise and deliver annual plans, together with associated budgets, in line with the charity's strategic objectives. You will use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording and forecasting of major donor income, enabling efficient reporting and KPI management.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have a successful track record in high-value fundraising and acquisition, including a proven track record of securing five or six-figure gifts to meet or exceed targets. You must have experience line managing individuals, nurturing their development, and managing their performance to achieve results. Ideally, you will have experience developing and managing a calendar of successful charity events that meet fundraising targets and managing or working with a fundraising board or high-value committee. You should have the skills to influence, motivate and persuade people to donate and experience writing successful, inspiring, emotive, and technically accurate cases for support and proposals tailored to a major donor audience.
You should be experienced in growing and managing a pipeline, planning for your portfolio, and increasing income.

Role Summary
As our Director of Philanthropy, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future where everyone chooses delicious, healthy food that is good for all humans, animals, and the planet. Responsibilities
1. Major Gifts, Corporates and Foundations

Identify and prepare proposals for new revenue streams (think outside the box!), with an emphasis on the climate-food nexus. This includes potential HNWIs as well as large institutions, corporates and climate foundations.

Identify and develop processes and systems to support the growth of major-donor and foundation income.

Qualifications
Required:

Minimum of five years’ experience in senior fundraising at a non-profit, preferably with an international focus. A similar or additional corporate background would also be useful.

Understanding of effective altruism, and up-to-date knowledge of European fundraising trends.

A track record of identifying and securing significant, multi-year funds from donors (minimum five to six-figures), particularly new donors and foundations.

Significant experience in researching and developing strong stakeholder relationships, as well as experience with writing concise reports.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to generate vital income for their work in making a society in which people are safer and feel safer. This will be achieved through sales of Suzy Lamplugh Trust products, including training courses, consultancy exercises, web-based provisions, and resources to reach income and expenditure targets. The role will be required to work alongside key colleagues and teams to develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy for Suzy Lamplugh Trust products, as well as look to continuously improve and enhance products and services.
Candidates should have a broad understanding of the role corporate partnerships play in advancing strategic objectives of charities, and in particular demonstrate excellent sales and business development skills around products and offers. They are looking for someone creative, proactive, and collaborative who can take their training and consultancy packages to new audiences and really extend the impact of the charity's work. The postholder will be required to liaise with senior leaders and the wider commercial team on the progress of sales against budget and contribute to addressing challenges in a solution-oriented manner, while providing analysis of sales leads, and income and expenditure forecasts.

Job Description
Communications:
- Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues
- Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach.
- Oversee the creation, development, distribution of compelling, impact-driven story-telling about Kineara’s work and beneficiaries using interviews, blogs, case studies, etc.
- Use a range of platforms to distribute print and electronic content including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters reports, e-newsletters, and Kineara’s website
- Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications

We are looking for an Internal Communications Executive to join us on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The role supports the Internal Communications Lead in creating and delivering internal communication and engagement activity for all Teenage Cancer Trust colleagues.
The main focus of the role will be to:
- Manage the day-to-day running of our internal communications channels, under guidance from the Internal Communications Lead.
- Maintain, deliver and evolve regular channels of communication including e-newsletters and intranets to all colleagues.
- Partner closely with our Services colleagues, and act as a point of contact for all other departments, to communicate with, about and to our staff in specialist Teenage Cancer Trust units based in NHS hospitals across the UK.
