About the role

The engagement directorate is responsible for growing awareness, trust and engagement with Breast Cancer Now - so more people get support and give support. It leads the £47m we raise annually today and our ambition to grow this to £69m by 2029/30, alongside a new £60m Campaign.

At the heart of this is a focus on relationships - using data and insight to create meaningful experiences that inspire people to give their time, money and voice. Within this, the insight & experience function sits in the high value intelligence & experience team, supporting our high value partnerships and campaign ambitions. With a focus on more holistic, supporter-led engagement, this role will help strengthen how we understand, engage and inspire high value supporters.

Working closely with the senior high value insight & experience manager, the high value insight & experience manager will help develop a consistent approach to gathering and using insight, shaping engagement across both everyday activity and campaign delivery. The role will collaborate across teams to ensure supporter-facing activity is aligned, high quality and insight-led.

The high value insight & experience manager will play a hands-on role in delivering cultivation, stewardship and recognition activity - supporting events, experiences, communications and key supporter touchpoints. This includes developing a strong suite of engagement opportunities for high value audiences and helping ensure supporters feel valued, recognised and connected to the impact of their support.

About the role

You will play an important role in helping Macmillan harness philanthropy to deliver our mission. Macmillan Ventures is our impact investing programme, backing the most promising technologies in the sector – from precision medicine to AI‑enabled diagnostics – by partnering with some of the most exciting start‑ups in the world to transform cancer care.

In this role, you will build and inspire a community of forward‑thinking philanthropists to provide the capital needed to power this work. You will help shape and grow Macmillan Venture Partners, positioning it as a compelling, high‑impact opportunity for philanthropists who want to combine charitable purpose with an interest in innovation and venture capital.

Working closely with a network of senior volunteers, investment professionals, entrepreneurs and technology pioneers, you will unlock new relationships, grow significant income and strengthen Macmillan’s position as a leader in philanthropic impact investing. This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of philanthropy, innovation and cancer care.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop new and existing high‑net‑worth relationships in support of Macmillan Ventures.
• Deliver income against an ambitious multi‑million‑pound campaign target over the next five years.
• Steward and cultivate high‑value gifts (£50k to £1m+) from high‑net‑worth individuals with a strong interest in delivering Macmillan’s mission through innovation and venture capital.
• Contribute to shaping our Impact Investing proposition, working closely with the wider Philanthropy and Macmillan Ventures team to create a compelling case for support.
• Inspire and support a network of senior volunteers to expand our reach and grow support, particularly among investment professionals, entrepreneurs and technology pioneers.
• Work closely with the Stewardship and Operations team to drive a data‑led approach to fundraising, including prospect research, pipeline management and impact evaluation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships colleagues to ensure a joined‑up approach to cultivation and stewardship across the wider division.

About you

You will be an experienced high‑value fundraiser who brings:

• A track record of securing six‑ and seven‑figure donations from high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Experience of working with senior volunteers to grow networks and secure donations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills, with the confidence to lead relationships with successful, high‑profile donors.
• Experience of working across a large, complex organisation to deliver a great donor experience.
• Experience of using data and insight to drive fundraising activity.

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our ambitious and supportive Philanthropy & Partnerships Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in growing income from corporate partnerships, helping to fund the vital care and support Southern Hospice Group provides to local people and their families.

Working with both existing and prospective corporate supporters, you will develop and manage a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships, securing support through strategic partnerships, sponsorship, employee fundraising and gifts in kind. Working closely with the Philanthropy Managers, and the Trust Lead, you will lead the teams to secure, and grow, vital funding from philanthropic and trust sources to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally. The role currently leads a team of 7, which will continue to develop over the coming years.

The postholder will drive forward the Philanthropy & Trusts strategy as well as oversee KPI development and measurement, and budgets for the teams. The role is also responsible for growing the prospect and donor pools for both Philanthropy & Trusts and ensuring that the team’s donor development plans reflect best practice in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.

The post will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, but in particular with the Head of Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial, the Senior Corporate & Commercial Partnerships Manager, the Senior Fundraising Operations Manager and the Special Events & Stewardship Manager, to collaborate on joint projects and ensure contacts are shared to maximise all opportunities.

To enable Operation Smile’s global surgical activities, OSUK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraisers and trusts and foundations.

We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Partnerships Officer, the Partnerships Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing corporate partners through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.

The position will build on existing partner relationships with high-profile businesses like Superdrug, the Perfume Shop and Johnson & Johnson, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects in relevant sectors, working closely with the Director of Partnerships.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships Development

• Ensure achievement of annual income target for corporate partnerships
• Take primary responsibility for managing the current pool of medium and large corporate partnerships, including global partners (working with Operation Smile Inc), to ensure their growth and longevity – strategic input into the growth of each partner will be essential
• Develop and implement plans for partner activity to maximise all income channels, including corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, cause-related marketing and more
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new corporate fundraising prospects, creating propositions/proposals and making approaches, working with the Director of Partnerships
• Enhance our employee engagement and community fundraising offer with simple, easy-to-do fundraising activities, linked to key moments in the calendar
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to partners and internal stakeholders
• Represent Operation Smile UK in global corporate partner discussions, applying any global strategies to develop successful fundraising plans for the UK
• Lead on the development and management of any corporate partner cultivation events

Additional Responsibilities

• Line manage one Partnerships Officer, supporting them to manage inbound community fundraising requests and existing relationships, as well as smaller corporate partners
• Oversight of community fundraising income target delivered by the Officer
• Create and maintain annual corporate partnerships and community fundraising budgets and business plans, including activities from current supporters and forecasting new business income

• 2 years’ experience in a corporate partnerships or business development role
• We promote flexible and hybrid working, with 2 days per week in our London office in Battersea (nearest stations Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Town). There will also be some UK travel for meetings, conferences and events.

As we scale up the role of fundraising at LSHTM, we are recruiting 3 senior specialists to work closely as part of the department’s leadership team in providing strategic and tactical direction of key areas of our work as our Heads of Development Operations, Trusts & Foundations, and a new area – Corporate Partnerships.

We have created a Head of Corporate Partnerships position for an experienced practitioner to join us, and explore and strategically design a focused programme to engage corporate support.  We have identified a number of potential prospects and are now seeking a creative and enterprising specialist who has a track record of working with key stakeholders to develop attractive value propositions that have secured new corporate partnerships.  Success in this role will require intellectual curiosity and a strong relationship-focused approach, with creativity, resilience and strong ambition to build something new and achieve results.

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Lead to join our cause.

Created as part of investment in the Trust’s fundraising capacity, this exciting new role will take the lead on our work with businesses to help us achieve ambitious corporate income targets to support nature’s recovery across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading on all operational aspects of corporate engagement and fundraising, and inputting into strategy with the Senior Manager of Philanthropy & Partnerships, you’ll have responsibility for corporate membership, partnerships, philanthropy and social value funding, as well as having the opportunity to work closely with colleagues on vital nature-based solutions and green finance income generation opportunities.

With support from colleagues across the department, you’ll provide stewardship to a portfolio of mid and high value relationships, develop funding propositions for new and existing supporters and act as a champion for corporate fundraising across the Trust.

About you:

You’re an outstanding communicator with sound experience of new business development, as well as high-quality account management skills and knowledge, with a proven track record of developing and managing business relationships and driving income growth. You’re a proactive, positive and confident fundraiser with the skills and experience to take the lead across a range of important corporate income streams.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing corporate partners and funders to secure income. With a focus on new business development, this role will look to build new corporate relationships that are capable of multi-year funding at a six-figure gift level. Working closely with the Head of Development and a Development Officer, this role will build a prospect pipeline and develop relationships through different methods to achieve successful partnerships. 

To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you will have proven experience in business development and be able to demonstrate building long-lasting six-figure partnerships with corporate partners. This person will also be confident in pitching propositions to potential corporate partners, and be able to create engaging proposals.
