About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s growing Community Fundraising team as the Senior Regional Fundraising Manager, where you will lead, inspire and empower your talented team of Regional Fundraisers and Fundraising Managers to unlock the full potential of our highest-value supporters—individuals, community groups, and regional corporate partners—across the UK.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our community fundraising strategy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving innovation in supporter engagement. Championing a relationship-led approach, ensuring every supporter feels valued and inspired to raise vital funds. You will lead collaboration with other teams such as National Corporate and the Marketing and Communications team to drive new business pipelining and amplify Community Fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent Dementia UK at external events and sector initiatives.

You will be responsible for effectively recruiting, training and developing staff, creating an aspirational culture where the team are motivated to meet and exceed targets. Using insight, analysis and audience understanding, you will inform strategic decisions and continuously evolve our regional fundraising approach to maximise impact and income.

We are looking for you to bring a strong background in community fundraising and a track record in growing fundraising income. Confidence in setting and managing large budgets, reporting on KPIs and adjusting plans as necessary is essential. An understanding of delivering community fundraising products and scaling ideas that support donor acquisition and retention is vital, with the ability to use insight to shape pipeline and stewardship planning. You’ll also be an experienced team leader who can motivate and guide others to deliver results.

We are looking for someone with impressive programme management and change management experience, who can lead through others. Someone who is both attentive to detail, and an expert communicator. 

You will lead a team of four experts in project and event management, who support clinicians and specialist advisors to deliver truly impactful programmes, projects and networks, with and for the hospice sector. 

You’ll shape our approach to programme management across the team, developing and embedding ways of working that give our work consistency, quality and meaningful results. 

You will also spearhead the delivery of two new, vital programmes of work - supporting the wellbeing and professional development of the hospice workforce, and improving access to quality hospice care for people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage.

Perhaps you’re working in the charity and/or healthcare sector already, or you might bring senior programme management experience from other fields. 

Either way, you’ll become part of a close, 17-strong Programmes Team at Hospice UK. We work together and alongside external experts, to design and deliver evidence-based programmes, projects and events, which help hospices provide the very best care in their communities.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:

• Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.

Business Development

About the role

We're now looking for an exceptional fundraising leader with expertise in Individual Giving and the ability to engage with Corporate Partners. This is a pivotal role that will shape and deliver the philanthropic and corporate strategy, building meaningful relationships and driving income growth to support the mission.

As a key member of the senior team, you'll lead and inspire a talented bunch of fundraisers, overseeing individual giving and corporate partnerships. You'll bring creativity and strategic flair to donor engagement and communications, campaign creation, fundraising events and building innovative partnerships with businesses that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of Liverpool's cultural landscape.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience leading individual giving (and/or membership), or fundraising in arts, culture, education or the wider charity sector.
• Has a proven track record driving significant departmental income, upwards of six-to seven-figures.

About the role

As Trusts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Crisis’ income from charitable trusts, foundations, and lottery funders. Alongside managing a portfolio of high-value supporters, you’ll take the lead in identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding opportunities - building relationships with partners whose priorities align with Crisis’ mission to end homelessness.

Working closely with the Senior Trusts and Statutory Lead and the Head of Philanthropy and Development, you’ll help shape and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy that balances sustainable partnership management with bold new business development. You’ll bring creativity and strategic insight to finding and engaging new funders, developing compelling propositions that open doors to long-term collaboration.

This is a relationship-driven role that blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery. You’ll produce persuasive proposals and reports, developing strong relationships with funders and trustees, and collaborating across Crisis to communicate our impact through compelling cases for support. You’ll also manage a healthy prospect pipeline - driving forward new relationships while ensuring the team meets its income targets and continues to grow its supporter base.

About you

You’re an experienced and confident fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant gifts - at the five- or six-figure level - from charitable trusts, foundations, or statutory funders. You thrive on new business development: from researching and engaging cold prospects to building tailored, strategic relationships that grow into long-term partnerships.

You’re a persuasive communicator and strategic thinker, able to craft compelling proposals and deliver inspiring pitches that resonate with senior funders and trustees. You bring energy, curiosity, and resilience to prospecting — spotting opportunities others might miss and following them through to success.

Highly organised and results-oriented, you balance short-term delivery with a focus on sustainable growth. You’re confident using data and insight to guide your approach, measure progress, and refine your strategy. For a large UK-wide Housing Association, we're recruiting a Category Manager on a 12-month FTC. During a period of significant investment in service provision and effective category management and business partnering, the Category Manager will continue this journey of operational excellence and will develop and lead strategic sourcing, agreeing procurement strategy for several supply chain categories taking a commercial and compliant approach in development the best routes to market.

• Work alongside the group procurement team and senior procurement manager to develop and deliver operationally excellent strategies for a portfolio of supply chain categories
• Lead on the development, procurement and implementation of category strategies, ensuring contracts awarded deliver value for money
• Identify key supply relationships to drive improvement in value for money, performance, quality, service and innovation
• Develop successful supply chain relationships though supplier visits, and understanding end-to-end supply chains

Strategy, vision and impact [25%]

• Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives 
• Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme 
• Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets 

Leadership, line management and training [25%]

• Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun 
• Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
• Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme

Relationship management [20%]

• Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees 
• Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
• Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room

Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]

• Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets 
• Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
• Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment 

Operations [10%]

• Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies
