As our Fundraising Officer (Corporate) you will be a key member of the income generation team for Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity, joining at an exciting time following significant growth in revenue generation. Our University has a proud history of philanthropy stretching back to its foundation in 1900. There have been a number of fundraising campaigns, including a £1m urgent capital appeal after the Second World War and a £1.4m campaign to fund the Vale ‘student village’ in the 1960s. Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.
The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. They will also lead on the stewardship of these relationships, delivering tailored engagement plans that demonstrate impact and maximise retention.
Alongside delivery, the Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will monitor performance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data, working collaboratively with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to maximise results.
Key Responsibilities
Major SOHK Events
- Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
- Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
- Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
- Source high value auction and raffle prizes
- Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
- Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
- Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up
Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)
- Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed
- Research and make high quality approaches
- Confidently write winning pitches and present at meetings
- Secure new partnerships to achieve income targets
- Stewardship: Act as the main point of contact for partnerships that are allocated to you; nurturing and strengthening the relationships

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in event management, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of fundraising or engagement events
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities

- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and suppliers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally

About the role
The Major Funding Partnerships Directorate is responsible for generating a significant part of AIUK's income, with an ambitious strategy to grow fundraising substantially between 2025 and 2030. The Corporate Partnerships Manager sits at the heart of that ambition - owning a portfolio of high-profile corporate partnerships and prospects, and bringing an entrepreneurial, impact-investing mindset to a competitive market.
This is not a conventional corporate fundraising role. You will develop creative propositions and identify new routes to value - inspiring companies to engage with Amnesty in ways that go beyond traditional charitable giving. Day to day, you'll cultivate senior relationships, shape bespoke value propositions, build and maintain a prospect pipeline worth at least three times your annual income target, and brief the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team ahead of C-suite engagements. You'll also lead on complex partnership negotiations and design high-impact events that deepen corporate engagement.
The human rights impact is real and direct: the income you secure funds Amnesty's campaigning and global advocacy - protecting people from unjust imprisonment and abuse of power around the world. The companies you bring on board don't just support a charity; they become active partners in that mission.

The role may be for you if:
- You have experience in major partnership fundraising, with a track record of securing significant five to six figure gifts and growing high-value relationships.
- You can cultivate and engage senior corporate leaders, and are comfortable briefing the CEO and Senior Management Team to support high-stakes partnerships with C-suite contacts.
- You can develop insight-driven, commercially compelling cases for support - ideally within a campaigning or advocacy-focused organisation - that inspire companies to invest beyond traditional charitable giving.
- You bring an entrepreneurial approach to prospect research and pipeline development - spotting opportunities beyond the obvious, and building a forward-looking portfolio worth at least three times the annual income target.
- You collaborate positively and contribute to an inclusive culture, and have a good knowledge of corporate social responsibility programmes and/or social impact investing.

About the Role

- Lead on regional corporate campaigns and initiatives, maximising income and engagement

- Coordinate and grow the CHSW Business Club, developing a compelling annual events programme
- Develop and manage corporate sponsorship, CRM and CPA agreements in line with legislation and best practice
- Contribute to, and deliver against, CHSW’s fundraising strategy for regional corporate income
About You
- Experience in fundraising, sales or marketing with a proven track record of meeting income targets
- Strong experience building and managing external relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable:
- Experience in charity or not-for-profit fundraising
- Knowledge of corporate fundraising regulations (e.g. CRM, CPA)
- Fundraising qualification (e.g. Certificate in Fundraising)
