A fantastic permanent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Fundraising Officer to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive fundraising team. This is a home-based role and will suit an individual living in the North of England. You will be reporting to the Corporate & Regional Fundraising Manager and working in a very varied and exciting working environment.

The perfect candidate will enjoy forging positive and robust relationships with supporters including corporate partners, small businesses, philanthropic groups as well as supporting community fundraisers across the North of England, to raise vital income for our Association.  

You will use your creative and professional skillset to provide high-quality account management, stewardship, and growth across all managed income streams. No two days are the same and we are looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach and able to multitask effectively.

The role of Fundraising Lead is to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. You will develop high value 6- and 7-figure fundraising relationships, primarily with the private sector, but also with HNWIs in the future, bringing on board new supporters, so maximising income and sustainability.

With proposals already in play with leading brands, a supportive Head of Fundraising, and active trustee involvement, this is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact in an ambitious organisation.

As Fundraising Lead, you will:

• Lead corporate new business, with full responsibility for a £300k year-one target
• Build and manage a proactive new business pipeline, using prospect research tools, networking and trustee engagement
• Secure six-figure, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing creative offers across unrestricted, programme-based and blended opportunities
• Focus in the short-medium term on corporate new business, moving to incorporate HNWIs in time
• Work with the Head of Fundraising, SMT and board members to open doors and build senior-level relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues including the account management team and bid writer to ensure seamless handover and delivery of secured partnerships
• Represent STEM Learning externally, positioning the organisation as a credible and attractive partner for major corporate supporters

Ideal skills and experience:

• Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate partnerships, ideally multi-year
• Experience building a corporate pipeline from scratch, including research, prospecting and networking
• Strong understanding of how to package and position fundraising propositions to align donor interests with organisational priorities
• Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, including trustees, boards and senior corporate contacts
• Target-driven, entrepreneurial and proactive, able to deliver short-term results while building long-term income growth
• Collaborative and resilient, with the ability to represent STEM Learning externally and inspire confidence internally

Main Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Fundraising

• Identify, develop and secure corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships, payroll giving, and in-kind support.
• Build relationships with local businesses, engaging them in volunteering and staff fundraising activities.
• Prepare compelling proposals, pitches and presentations to secure new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
• Recruit and steward local businesses for the Unpaid Carers Hub, our web-based corporate partnerships offer.

Community Fundraising

• Pro-actively grow income from local community groups, schools, clubs and faith organisations across Surrey.
• Act as an ambassador for the charity at local events, deliver talks and presentations, inspiring people to support our work.
• Support and encourage DIY/community fundraisers, providing resources and guidance to maximise income.

Events

• Plan and deliver fundraising events from concept to completion, managing budgets, logistics and marketing timelines to ensure strong ROI.
• Recruit participants for charity-led and third-party events, including running challenges and bespoke campaigns such as I’m a Director, Get Me Out of Here!.

Communications and Stewardship

• Work with the Fundraising and Communications teams to create engaging fundraising materials, content for social media, newsletters, and supporter updates.
• Deliver excellent supporter care, ensuring donations are acknowledged promptly and relationships nurtured for long-term engagement.

Data, Reporting and Administration

• Maintain accurate records on Salesforce, producing reports and data analysis to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
• Track, evaluate and report on activity, identifying learning points to improve future performance.

Other Duties

• Represent and promote Crossroads Care Surrey at networking events, business forums, and in the wider community.
• Contribute to seasonal appeals and cross-team campaigns.

Person Specification

Essential

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising within the charity sector
• Proven track record of generating income for corporate partnerships and from community fundraising groups such as Rotary clubs.
• Strong relationship management skills, with experience of building and sustaining partnerships.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including pitching and presenting.

Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser 

We are seeking a motivated Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to secure vital income and build strong partnerships with funders across the UK.

Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
Location: Remote, UK wide
Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week (permanent)
 

About the role

As Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, you will play a key role in generating income to support our mission of sharing the joy of live music in care settings. You will manage a portfolio of small and medium value trusts and foundations, writing compelling funding proposals and delivering excellent stewardship to strengthen long-term relationships.

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.

• ​Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects 
• Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth 
• ​Work with the fundraising team to develop and maintain strong relationships with fundraisers, donors, partners, and key stakeholders ​
• Contribute towards the growth and success of fundraising efforts, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the vital ongoing funding of brain tumour research ​

• At least one year of fundraising experience, with a proven track record in income generation 
• Strong experience in supporter stewardship  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters and partners alike ​
• Passion for Brain Tumour Research and its mission to fund research and ultimately find a cure

This is a key leadership role within the fundraising team, managing a portfolio worth over £1.6m and leading a team of two: a Corporate Fundraising Manager and a Special Events Manager.

About the role

• Lead and grow a corporate partnerships portfolio worth c.£850k, with around 30 partners including well-known brands from hospitality, sport and property.
• Drive new business and steward relationships to an exceptional standard, with a clear ambition to grow corporate income to £1m+.
• Oversee a high-value events portfolio (c.£750k income) including a Winter Ball, Golf Day and other supporter-led events – supported by an experienced events manager.
• Contribute to senior fundraising strategy and play a vital role in shaping the future growth of partnerships income.

JOB PURPOSE 

This exciting role focuses on raising income for the Start Network and its global initiatives, including the Start Fund, Start Ready, innovation and the expansion of a locally led network. The postholder will be an experienced trusts and / or corporate fundraiser who wants a role focused on business and relationship development. They will be responsible for an exciting portfolio of existing and prospective funders (that give 6-7 figure grants), adopting a relational approach to fundraising. 

You will be responsible for carrying out prospect donor mapping, growing a fundraising pipeline, building relationships with prominent foundations and corporates in the humanitarian space, writing technical proposals as required, pitching to donors well-articulated concepts, and building fundraising capacity within the organisation. 

It is critical that the postholder is comfortable with developing new relations. We have grown a significant number of new donors within our Foundations and Corporates over the last few years, and we hope to continue the growth of the team in this exciting role, so proof of having grown an income stream is key.

Finally, the Partnerships Funding Advisor will sit within a team of 4 focusing on strengthening and increasing the philanthropic portfolio and will work alongside the Partnerships Engagement Officer, one other Partnerships Funding Advisor and will report to the Partnerships Manager. 

The Community Fundraising Team is an integral part of the Charity Fundraising Portfolio, by supporting a diverse range of inspiring supporter led fundraising activities. It is an exciting time to join the Team, as we plan for 25/26.

You will be one our 6 Regional Community Fundraisers, based across the UK. Overview

At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives on building relationships – with partners and with colleagues in the UK and around the world. You will be a brilliant communicator, someone who can juggle multiple priorities and inspire people to believe in our story. Ideally, you will have at least a year’s experience in a relationship management role (in a commercial or fundraising setting), and a particular interest in international development. In return, you will be part of an ambitious and high-performing team, working with national and global corporate partners, gaining international programme exposure and being given the opportunity to take responsibility from the outset. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Fundraising

· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements

· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.

· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants

· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.

· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships

· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content

· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases

Community Fundraising

· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests

· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems

Additional Responsibilities

· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector

· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.

You will be critical in strategically driving our growth, improving practices and increasing efficiency, through guiding and supporting colleagues across the fundraising department. You will work particularly closely with the Major Donor, Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Teams to help grow pipelines and bring to the forefront the most exciting opportunities.
