Job description

Offering flexibility for homeworking and an opportunity to help shape a new income strategy, we're excited to have this brand-new fundraising role to share with you.

Has there ever been a more important time to champion the needs and happiness of older people in our communities? We're proud to be heading up the search party for a relatively new charity dedicated to funding local community groups and events across the UK that enrich the lives of elderly people. Combatting loneliness and social isolation by staying fit, active and healthy, it's all about enabling older people to stay connected and contribute to their local communities.

This role would ideally suit a good all-rounder with experience across a mixed portfolio of events, community and corporate account management. You'll work with corporate partners and individual supporters to organise fundraising activities and in aid of events, providing exceptional supporter experience and stewardship.

You're a friendly, warm and engaging people-person who excels at building rapport quickly. You are comfortable and confident communicating to diverse audiences in writing, on social media and face-to-face. You love to learn and are committed to developing your skills and knowledge, as well as being a generous team player. Creative and naturally curious with strong time and project management skills.

This is primarily a home-based role with a national organisation covering a wide geographical patch. Under normal circumstances, you'll be travelling regularly to meet supporters and need to be at head office in Warrington one day each week (once the office is reopened).

Please apply with a copy of your CV for lots more detail on this amazing opportunity to our Northern consultant, Ellen Drummond: [email protected]

Deadline: 9am on Monday 27th July
Interviews: 31st July; w/c 3rd and 10th August
