This is a new role working across Battersea’s Income Generation department, in particular, Philanthropy, Partnerships and Commercial (PP&C). This new role will provide effective EA support to the Head of PP&C, and to the Senior Corporate & Commercial Manager and the Senior Philanthropy & Trusts Manager). This role will manage external and internal communication to and from the Head of PP&C and the senior managers. You will also provide a range of administrative and co-ordination support to the wider PP&C team.

Your Role as a Fundraiser for Hope for Southall Street Homeless
You will secure £210,000 p.a. to cover the running costs of HSSH. This will include the salaries of five staff, grant-funding for emergency/ temporary accommodation for guests who wish to return to their home country (currently covered by a Government grant at 100%) and other running costs (eg insurance) and overheads (eg Third Sector body fees).
Your responsibilities will include :
Trusts
- To conduct an initial audit of existing Trust and Foundation donors to maintain and maximise potential income from these donors.
- To carry out prospect research using Fundsonline and other established Trust directories to identify new prospective donors.
- To establish a calendar-based pipeline showing submitted and planned applications, with required updates (including scheduled date, name, projected amount, and next action), to ensure timely and targeted applications and follow-up communications with donors (both existing and prospective).
- To monitor and respond to local and wider appropriate grant opportunities.
Corporates
- To scope local and wider district and borough opportunities for corporate partnerships, starting with warm contacts and existing donor networks.
- To build natural, face-to-face, contact and foster deep relationships with new corporate partners.
- To maintain a pipeline (as above) of corporate donors, prospects, communications, and planned approaches.
Community / Individuals

Who We Are Hope for Southall Street Homeless (HSSH) is a charity founded in 2015 to provide a permanent night shelter in Southall. The need for this was identified by the Churches in Southall Leadership Team – at the time part of the wider Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter initiative – due to the high number of rough sleepers in Southall, at the time, over 31% of all Ealing’s rough sleepers.
HSSH is embedded in the multi-ethnic, multi-faith community of Southall and reflects that diversity in its Board of Trustees.

3. Matching gift requests with pledges from donors and preparing information on gift requests.
4. Maintaining a live list of all requests for gifts from approx. 60 services and projects, and over 100 companies and community groups, updating as matches are made and requests are filled.

6. Co-ordinating deliveries of gifts from donors to projects, ensuring needs and requirements of both parties are met.
7. Accurately creating and maintaining donor and donation records on Family Action’s Salesforce based CRM system.
8. Assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Administrator with donation processing and administration.
9. Stewarding Toy Appeal fundraisers, encouraging the use of fundraising platforms such as JustGiving, providing fundraising materials and sharing the impact of their fundraising.
10. Researching to find suppliers for gifts that need to be purchased using donated funds.
11. Supporting the Marketing and Communications team by providing regular information and updates about the appeal.

The ‘High Value Fundraising Operations Consultant’ will play a crucial role in representing the Philanthropy & Trusts team through this CRM transformation programme.
With a strong understanding of high-value fundraising, you will work closely with colleagues across Philanthropy, Partnerships and Commercial (PP&C) to understand the nuances of working with major donors, trusts and foundations, and partners.
You will use this in-depth understanding of the team’s key relationship management and data needs to represent PP&C as a subject matter expert through the CRM transformation programme to ensure the system meets the strategic and operational requirements of high-value fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering:
- Shadow members of the Philanthropy & Trusts team to gain a comprehensive overview and insight into workflows, processes and associated system and data requirements.
- Provide new ideas and initiatives to the Philanthropy & Trusts team for consideration to implement within the new CRM system, e.g. KPI monitoring, moves management.
- In collaboration with the CRM transformation programme team and Data Services team, document and articulate the specific data requirements for high-value fundraising, including relationship management, prospecting, stewardship and reporting.

- Champion user needs and advocate for system features that support strategic fundraising goals.
Process Improvement & Change Management:
- Identify opportunities to streamline or enhance existing workflow, systems, data and reporting processes in preparation for system transition, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development of new workflows, systems, data and reporting processes that align with the Launchpad system’s capabilities.
- Contribute to change management efforts, helping to communicate system changes to internal stakeholders and support adoption across high-value teams.
- Support training sessions and act as a knowledge hub for team members during system implementation.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience working with or supporting high-value fundraising teams (major donors, trusts & foundations, or corporate partnerships).
- Strong understanding of fundraising CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge or similar) and the workflow, system and data needs of philanthropic teams (e.g. KPI monitoring and management, donor stewardship journeys, prospecting, due diligence and moves management).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience of effective cross-functional working.
- Experience collaborating with data services teams or on implementation projects in a charity or fundraising environment.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with the Director of Vegan Corporate Projects and Corporate Projects Manager to develop and manage a strategic plan for PETA's work with companies
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with corporations and institutions, and negotiate to improve/increase their vegan options while reducing/eliminating meat, dairy and eggs
- Work with caterers at major sports arenas in the UK to encourage them to expand and promote their vegan food offering
- Encourage chicken shop takeaways to have vegan chicken options on the menu
- Develop positive ways to reach farmers, farming organisations, and the public, to promote plant-based agriculture
- Ensure consistency and best practices in external communications
- Prepare and deliver presentations to executives
- Initiate and execute projects to encourage the public to try a vegan lifestyle
- Develop and make recommendations for ways to increase media coverage of vegan eating in order to help push it further into the mainstream
- Oversee, organise, participate in, and execute vegan-related awareness events
- Attend meetings in order to brainstorm and develop future projects
- Work with PETA's media and marketing teams to achieve maximum exposure for our corporate work

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience in advocacy, public relations, or corporate affairs
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver presentations, address and overcome objections, and negotiate and close deals

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
- Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns

Role Purpose
Hatch is on a mission to build a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem, one where underrepresented founders have the resources, support, and funding to thrive. We are looking for a relationship-driven Fundraising Manager to secure, steward, and grow funding partnerships across trusts and foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
You will play a key role in unlocking income growth through strong relationship management, compelling bid and proposal writing, and strategic prospect research. While managing your own portfolio of funders, you will also support senior fundraisers to progress high-value partnerships, developing your skills and confidence as you grow your own partnerships.

Your role will focus on:

Key responsibilities

This is a Trusts and Foundations-focused Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer role with a mix of responsibilities across family Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Foundations, Wealth Management firms, and HNWIs. The Role
