About the Role:

This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.

We will be looking for someone who can offer more to really get themselves stuck into Urban Synergy to help grow the company and develop the role into their own.

What You'll Do:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.

Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.

Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.

Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.

Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.

Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.

Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.

Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.

Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.

Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.

Ensure budgetary alignment with partnership goals and objectives.

Who we are looking for:

Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector. Minimum of 5 yrs experience in this area. 

Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Works collaboratively within a team and also work independently

Comes with ideas and suggestions on how to develop and nurture our partnerships.

Self-starter, who is results-oriented with a track record of achieving fundraising targets.

Is socially dynamic, successful at networking and is able to nurture and maintain positive relationships

Strategic thinking and ability to align partnerships with organisational goals.

Exceptional writing and communication skills and displays a commitment to excellence through careful attention to detail.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

SPEAR is a lifeline to hundreds of people each year who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness across six London boroughs. We provide essential outreach support, a variety of accommodation options, tenancy support services and vital health programmes. In 2024 we supported 804 people experiencing homelessness. This included 466 people found rough sleeping, 227 people in accommodation-based and floating support and 84 young people aged 16-25.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our corporate giving and partnerships income stream. Corporate Giving at SPEAR comprises just over 20% of our fundraised income, with a mix of direct giving, local COY partnerships and employee fundraising. This is a key role within the Fundraising and Engagement team, responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate partners to generate sustainable income and deepen engagement with SPEAR’s mission.

You will also play a strategic role in identifying new prospects, securing partnerships, and delivering excellent account management to all existing supporters. The Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Manager will play a leading role in the execution and delivery of our ambitious income generation strategy.

This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with existing and potential corporate partners within the RICS community.

The Role

Reporting to our Head of Development, the post holder will be responsible for creating relevant fundraising material and developing fundraising activities, whilst building and accessing a network of Corporate Champions and monitoring performance against the income generation strategy.

You will be responsible for managing and mentoring the Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Account Executive and together will implement a corporate  stewardship plan that will create meaningful engagement and opportunities for corporate giving and fundraising.

We’re looking for someone with experience of working in corporate or community fundraising, individual giving and/ or events management, who knows how to build and sustain strong relationships with external stakeholders to deliver objectives. 

You’ll also be comfortable delivering compelling partnership proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences, and will represent LionHeart at a variety of RICS, partner firm or fundraiser events and other networking opportunities.

This is a permanent role offered on a 30-35 hours per week basis, with a full-time salary (35 hours) of circa £40,000, dependent on hours agreed and experience.

As we enter a critical decade for environmental action, we’re looking for a strategic, ambitious, and collaborative Head of Corporate Fundraising to lead our corporate partnerships programme and secure the vital income needed to power our mission.

We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to help us grow and nurture high-impact relationships with corporate partners, charitable trusts, and grant-making bodies. About the Role

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a central role in driving income growth and increasing the impact of our partnerships. You’ll work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to deliver our partnership strategy—developing new funding opportunities, managing existing relationships, and ensuring excellent stewardship throughout the partner journey.

This is a dynamic and varied role that offers scope for creativity, strategy, and hands-on relationship management. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to bring partner activity to life, demonstrate impact, and align our work with shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, including charitable trusts, corporate sponsors, and grant-making bodies.
• Deliver high-quality stewardship and build strong, long-term relationships with supporters.
• Identify and secure new partnership and funding opportunities in line with organisational strategy.
• Create compelling, tailored proposals and pitches that align with partner objectives and Fuel Bank’s mission.
• Track partnership performance, prepare reports and evaluations, and share impact stories with funders and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate across departments to align partner activity with service delivery and communications.
• Contribute to income planning, forecasting, and the delivery of financial targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in partnership management, business development, account management, or fundraising—ideally within the charity, non-profit or social impact sector.
• A track record of building successful relationships and delivering income growth.
• Skilled in writing proposals, reports, and presenting ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working with budgets, forecasts, and reporting tools.
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to spot new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role is an Account Management and New Business split and would suit someone with great communications skills, who is bursting with energy and creativity, and unafraid to try new approaches. We foster an environment where it is ok to make mistakes, be creative and try new things so that we can bring our prospects and partners the best opportunities to grow.

In this role you will:

• Build and manage a fast paced and highly effective new business pipeline for opportunities within a 25-150k threshold
• Prospect, engage, pitch and win new business opportunities with high value corporates at a partnership value between 25-150k
• Manage, steward and relationship build with our current partners to ensure partnership uplift
• Work with project teams to collate accurate reporting and impact data for the partnership accounts you manage and look for impact opportunities for your pipeline prospects
• Collaborate with teams across Carers Trust to build pitch decks, proposal toolkits and engagement tools for the corporate team to deliver to partners and prospects
• Work with the Corporate Manager and Head of Corporate to sell and scale our new employability offer to corporate prospects

Our ideal candidate:

• Will have a good track record of securing new business opportunities in a charity or sales role
• Will have experience in account managing relationships
• Strong interpersonal and pitch building skills
• Capacity to take initiative and identify opportunities
• Financial literacy sufficient to present project budgets and corporate partnership costings
• Self-motivation with enthusiasm for working flexibly as part of a team
