Bedford Foodbank is an independent charity operating as a member of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks. We employ 2 paid full time and 5 part time staff and are supported by 120 volunteers each week. The mission of Bedford Foodbank is to provide emergency food and support to individuals and families in crisis, ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry. The vision is to be a beacon of hope and support for those facing financial difficulties providing a minimum of 3 days of emergency food and support.
Role Purpose
The Operations Director role is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the foodbank, ensuring sustainable service delivery while driving income generation and fundraising growth. You will oversee operations, fundraising strategy, partnerships, and compliance, ensuring the charity can meet increasing community need in a financially sustainable way with a passion for tackling poverty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all operational aspects of the foodbank, ensuring efficient, safe, and compassionate service delivery.
- Oversee logistics including food sourcing, storage, distribution, and volunteer deployment.
- Deliver a fundraising and grant writing strategy to ensure long-term financial sustainability
- Monitor operational performance and report regularly to the Trustees.

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the finances, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) with +5 years of accounting experience at a senior level

Fundraising Manager - Tiphereth
About Tiphereth
Tiphereth is a Camphill community in Edinburgh providing residential care and day services for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are part of the wider Camphill movement, which emphasises intentional community living, meaningful work and shared life between people with and without support needs.
Our community brings together over 200 people with our members, staff, vocational co-worker and volunteers across residential homes, supported living services and vibrant day services. Role’s Primary Objective
The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.
In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Above all, you will need to connect authentically with our ethos and be able to communicate the distinctive value of Camphill community life to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values
• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue
• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on fundraising trends, opportunities and risks
• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding
2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy
• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts
• Develop compelling cases for support and funding proposals for capital projects and programme development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting
• Support the CEO and trustees in their donor engagement activities, preparing briefings and facilitating introductions
• Maximise tax-efficient giving through Gift Aid and other mechanisms
3. Grants and Trusts
• Research and develop a pipeline of grant-making trusts and foundations aligned with Tiphereth's work
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications, working collaboratively with service managers to develop project proposals
• Maintain accurate records of applications, outcomes and reporting requirements
• Build relationships with programme officers and foundation staff to strengthen future applications
4. Marketing and Communications
• Lead the development and implementation of Tiphereth's marketing and communications strategy
• Oversee brand management, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, including timely responses to donors and interested parties
• Develop engaging content including the Annual Impact Report, newsletters, social media and website
• Champion digital fundraising initiatives and enhance supporter journeys to improve engagement and retention
• Raise Tiphereth's profile through media engagement, events and participation in sector networks
5. Community Fundraising and Events
• Develop and grow community fundraising income including individual giving, regular giving and legacy programmes
• Plan and deliver fundraising events and supporter engagement activities that reflect Tiphereth's values
• Support and coordinate third-party fundraising by community supporters

6. Team Development and Management

JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR (UK4U), the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for a Prospect Research Officer to join a small but high performing team with big ambitions. This role will play a key part in continuing to build our UHNWI, HNWI, Trust and Foundation and Corporate and pipelines, by working closely with the Prospect Research Manager, fundraising colleagues as well as UNHCR internationally.
This role reports to the Prospect Research Manager, who is responsible for developing and driving the prospect research strategy, due diligence and all high level, strategic prospect research. The post holder will help identify research, organise and evaluate a prospect’s financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the organisation, operating within the organisation’s due diligence process. The role will support UK for UNHCR’s due diligence process by helping to renew due diligence on existing pipelines, to completing some new due diligence profiles on lower-level prospects through utilising key due diligence tools and platforms, working with the Prospect Research Manager and members of the Partnerships and Philanthropy team, SMT and UNHCR’s global due diligence team.
Passionate about the refugee cause and UNHCR’s contribution, you will have demonstrable experience of successfully identifying prospects as well as preparing and presenting in depth prospect briefs for across the high value fundraising pipeline from UHNW and HNW individuals, Trusts & Foundations and Corporates. You will be familiar with using a variety of information sources, of complying with GDPR and other regulations and working with a CRM database. Donor focussed and a problem solver, you will with have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be someone who enjoys working as part of a team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Working with the Prospect Research Manager to support the overarching strategy for the prospect research function and to help deliver a strong and sustainable prospect pipeline.
- Prepare prospect research profiles for the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, whether in preparation for individual meetings or for a range of events.
- Support the Prospect Research Manager’s work with the Director of Private Philanthropy to identify UHNWI prospects and their work with the Senior Philanthropy
- Advisor to identify prospective members of UK for UNHCR’s first advisory development board.
- Using a broad spectrum of sources, identify, research, organise and evaluate a prospect’s financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the organisation. Support fundraising staff in prioritising prospects.
- Keep up to date on trends and new ways of working within Prospect research and due diligence.
- Work within UK4U’s due diligence policy and processes, supporting the Prospect Research Manager to maintain a system to enable the organisation to track due diligence carried out, ensuring compliance with all regulatory best practice standards.
- Produce in-depth, well-written reports on prospects based on a combination of data from the donor database, open access records and other markers of high-quality donors.
- Support the Prospect Research Manager to embed best practice use of the database within the team.
- Provide general support to fundraising staff and work on special projects when called for.
- Support Prospect Research Managers bi-yearly pipeline reviews to ensure pipelines remain dynamic and fit for purpose.

Role Overview:
Food Bank Aid is five years old and is constantly developing its fundraising and communications, so our Team needs to be flexible in their approach to work and as such, the list of responsibilities below may not be exhaustive.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement:
This role involves managing our website, social media channels, email campaigns, and supporting the wider team with graphic design needs. You’ll be the central figure in managing marketing processes, reporting on performance, and ensuring smooth workflows across the charity.
Website Management:
- Maintain and update the Food Bank Aid website using WordPress, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and aligned with our messaging and using Google Analytics to provide insights on traffic, engagement and user behaviour.
Email Campaign Management:
- Create, schedule, and manage email campaigns nd monthly newsletter using MailChimp, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Design and build landing pages to support email campaigns and drive conversions.
- Run reports on email campaign success and provide insights for improvements.
Social Media Management:
- Maintain a social media calendar and align with different messaging pillars and content priorities.
- Work with an external agency to develop engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives awareness of Food Bank Aid's mission and activities.
Task & Project Management:
- Manage and prioritise marketing tasks, projects, and workflows, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns run smoothly.
- Support team members with marketing-related tasks, maintaining an organised and efficient work environment.
Graphic Design Support:
- Create visually appealing content using Canva for social media, email campaigns, website updates, and other marketing materials.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Food Bank Aid’s branding guidelines.
Development:
· Assist the CEO in communicating with Family Trusts and Foundations to unlock funding and provide updates
· Assist the CEO in key digital fundraising campaigns, activities and events
· Represent the charity at partnership events to carry out activities
Qualifications & Skills:

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. The Role
CoppaFeel! is seeking an inspiring and strategic Fundraising Director to lead our fundraising activity and help to drive the next phase of our growth.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy, ensuring a strong, diverse and sustainable income portfolio that enables us to reach more people and move closer to a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed early. The Fundraising Director will provide bold, strategic leadership to shape the next phase of CoppaFeel!’s growth, evolving our fundraising model, reducing reliance on any single income stream and ensuring long term sustainability. While oversight of day to day fundraising performance remains important, this role is fundamentally future focused building resilience and driving innovation.

Duties and responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Work as part of the CoppaFeel! SMT shaping the organisational strategy, culture and cross departmental ways of working
- Set and lead an ambitious, multi year fundraising vision aligned to CoppaFeel!’s organisational strategy and impact goals
- Develop and support the Fundraising Team in the delivery of the fundraising strategy to ensure long term sustainability and maximum impact

The Fundraising Officer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising activities and events. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in line with the Central London Samaritans' fundraising strategy. Responsibilities include engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Head of Branch Operations and Branch Director: Identify specific programs and funding priorities and organise targeted fundraising campaigns and events.
- Plan and Coordinate Fundraising Events and Campaigns: Oversee the planning and coordination of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Track and Process Pledges: Monitor, track, and process pledges made at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
- Manage Online Donations: Oversee online donation activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.
- Identify Funding Opportunities: Seek local and national funding opportunities and contribute to the development of the organisation's fundraising strategy.
- Manage Fundraising Income: Maintain reports, track donations, handle donor correspondence, and evaluate the success of fundraising activities.
- Identify Partnership Opportunities: Look for partnership opportunities for joint fundraising campaigns to expand the donor base.
- Represent Central London Samaritans: Positively represent the organisation in all aspects of work, adhering to its values.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by your line manager that are appropriate to your role.

Hours of work:
The basic hours are 21/28 hours per week spread over Three/Four working days. Within these hours there may be need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities should be carried out during weekdays. The amount of out of hours work will be agreed on an ongoing basis.
Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Head of Branch Operations and in line with the staff handbook and the European Working Time Directive.
Limitations:
The post holder will be required to work within the rules and regulations of Samaritans and accept the authority of the Director and the Chair of the branch’s Board of Trustees, who have discretion to delegate authority to the post holder and to withdraw it.

This is a full-time Chief Exec role offering an exciting time to join an organisation making
