What will you be doing?

The Role:

Fundraising at Julian House is stepping into its next phase of growth, and we are looking for a strategic and innovative Senior Fundraising Manager to lead the team to new heights.

Fundraising generates vital income for the charity, helping us to provide life-changing and life-saving support for vulnerable people across the South West. We are looking for someone who can grow income across a range of streams in support of this mission, with a focus on regular giving, major donors, corporate partnerships, and legacies.

You will be leading a small team of committed, creative fundraisers, with the autonomy to establish new work streams from scratch and develop your team to help you deliver ambitious strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications / Requirements: 

• Significant knowledge and experience of a wide range of fundraising; with a demonstrable track record of growing income in at least two of our fundraising growth areas: legacies, major donors, corporate partnerships or regular givers.
• Experience of leading and implementing strategies, including setting and overseeing strategic projects led by others.
• Experience of using CRM systems to their full potential, interpreting donor data, analysing findings and making decisions based on your analysis. Knowledge and experience of the Donorfy platform is desirable, but not essential. 
• Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

About the role

Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. Our client has an opportunity for a Service Manager to provide leadership to the Mental Health service, collaborating with external partnerships and delivering a vital service to users across Birmingham

The Service 

The main aim of the Mental Health Connector Service is to work as part of a collaborative partnership with both Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) and Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) teams within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams. 

This transformational service is an integral part of local Primary Care Networks (PCN) across Birmingham and Solihull. 

The service will assist with providing support and interventions to service-users in primary care by providing access to support around social catalysts of poor mental health.  This includes issues such as debt, housing, domestic violence, substance use, homelessness, isolation, relationship breakdown, unemployment, and other social crisis issues. 

The service will see a team of Mental Health trained professional, Local Authority, Education and voluntary sector staff working together to delivery liaison, consultation, and intervention delivery. The service is an all-age service and will be based in a Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams.

The Role

• You will manage and support the on-going development of these services and test “proof of concept” in relation to offering alternatives to NHS response to mental health services. 

• You will monitor activity and report against key performance indicators and outcomes in line with service level agreements and requirements from our partner organisations. 

• You will provide a high level of line management leadership to each of the teams, encouraging continuous improvement and engagement through team meetings, service reviews, individual supervisions, and appraisals.

• You will coordinate deployment across the individual service areas in line with contractual agreements, ensuring that each area is represented.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
• Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.
• Be the expert in understanding movements regarding social networks ensuring ArtsEd has a presence and brand building content on the right platforms.
• To have responsibility for all digital advertising, including social paid adverts.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content

• Analytics

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.
• Explore  new methods for collection of data and how this can be used to improve recruitment processes
• Complete quarterly digital impact reports
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Implement regular surveys of students and staff, collecting quantitative and qualitative material to support marketing and communication campaigns.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Shape outcome based on data.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. The Services Manager will be the key operational lead for the Alliance, and oversee successful delivery of housing casework services to young people fleeing violence and exploitation who are referred in. You should have experience of working in services that support young people fleeing violence or who are impacted by the criminal justice system, and have a solid understanding of housing options for young people under 25. Lead Counsellor (Full-Time)

Reporting to the Project Director, the Lead Counsellor will be leading a team of up to 10 counsellors, overseeing the counselling service of the Ethnic Minority Well-being Centre, an initiative of the HKSAR Government.

The selected candidate will benefit from working in the collaborative and professional environment of a fast-growing Hong Kong NGO, engaging with a group of global mental health advisors as well as contributing to the betterment of Hong Kong community’s ethnic minority population.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Ethnic Minority Well-Being Centre’s cases, protocols, supervision, administration and capacity building, including but not limited to the following:

• Oversee all cases accepted by the Ethnic Minority Well-being Centre and ensure the counselling team are conducting counselling treatments according to the standard practices and protocols of the Centre.

• Work with Project Manager to manage screening and intake of all cases, and assign cases to appropriate counsellors

• Work with Counsellors to manage risk assessments and the case follow-up process with clients, and filing of these notes.

• Work closely with Senior Management on managing protocols around potential clients and  clients with suicidal risks

• Provide supervision to the counsellor team

• Provide direct counselling to clients

• Review and enhance service protocols as necessary

• Provide necessary information of counselling cases for reporting purpose to stakeholders and funder

• Develop content and deliver talks, including capacity building training, for social workers, mental health professionals, teachers, NGO staff and other stakeholders

• Lead Counsellor will also be expected to be under supervision by an external experienced counsellor and should meet the supervisor once every month

The individual MUST:

• Be a registered clinical psychologist recognized by one of the following organisations:

  • Hong Kong – Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists; Hong Kong Psychological Society

  • Australia - Australia Psychology Accreditation Council

  • Canada - Canadian Psychological Association

  • UK - Health and Care Professional Council

  • USA - American Psychological Association

• Be a master degree holder in counselling/clinical psychology or relevant subject discipline;
