Purpose of the role:

To be a proactive and experienced administrator to:

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy and growing Therapeutic Service through excellent administration.
• Work closely with and support the Therapeutic Service team to ensure effective administration and organisation of the service.

Main duties:

• Work with the Therapeutic Service Manager in:
• Administration: welcome clients to the premises; handle client queries over email/telephone and ensure messages are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Develop, reviewand maintaineffectiveinformationadministrativesystems within the counselling service including the office calendar, attendance records, and client waiting list.
• Liaise with the volunteer counselling staff in organising the counselling assessment interviews, maintaining the waiting list, organising counselling appointments by letter and telephone.
• Administer the progress of new referrals and assessments and report any changes in schedules.
• Administer returned registration questionnaires.
• Send out information packs, referencing the clients, dating and organising the questionnaire.
• Action new client allocations in a timely manner.
• Ensure messages from client to counsellors are delivered efficiently.
• Take cash or card payments from clients and issuing receipts.
• Support volunteer counsellors and other staff in daily administrative duties.
• Work closely with the other Therapeutic Service Administrators for the smooth transition and transfer between day and evening services.
• Work together with the other Therapeutic Service Administrators to ensure the counselling rooms are kept in good order for clinical practice in line with Health and Safety guidelines and Clinical Governance measures.
• Keep a record and update counselling personnel information.
• Send service updates and distribute leaflets every quarter to key stakeholders.

Opoka is a subsidiary of Chrysalis Group and provides emotional support and guidance to women and children escaping domestic violence. Our services are delivered by specially trained bilingual IDVA’s, DV Outreach workers, Counsellors and Helpline & Crisis Response workers as well as a team of volunteers, peer-mentors, and community champions across the region.

We are seeking a Support Worker who will provide high quality practical and emotional support to women and children escaping domestic violence seeking refuge in our safe houses. You will oversee the smooth running of our safe houses and work alongside our Housing Team to provide an intensive housing management in our safe houses.

You will be bilingual in Polish and English and be able to converse fluently as organisational and communication skills are a key element to this role. You will have an understanding of safeguarding and domestic violence whilst bringing a trauma informed and a non-judgemental approach to this highly sensitive and confidential role.

High levels of time management skills and the ability to accurately enter highly confidential information into our databases so that your fellow team members can follow individual’s caseloads are essential.

About the role

• Practical experience of processing supplier invoices, expenses and other financial transactions accurately.
• Experience of bank and/or supplier account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Good working knowledge of Xero or a similar accounting system.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and spreadsheets.

• The ability to organise your workload, manage competing priorities and meet financial deadlines.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to investigate queries and escalate issues where appropriate.

Experience of month-end processes, charity finance and/or working within a not-for-profit organisation would be advantageous.

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator to join our award-winning Bright Futures Children and Young People's Programme.

In this rewarding role, you will plan and coordinate engaging and inclusive educational, recreational and enrichment activities that help refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing and feel connected to their local community.

Location: We have offices in Kingston Upon Thames, greater London.

Hours: 14 hours per week – 2 days a week* (including paid half-hour lunch break).

Salary:  £12,740 (FTE £31,850) for 2 years.

Leave: 26 days per annum Pro Rata plus bank holidays.

Starting Date October 2026.

*The peak activity periods for this role happen during school half-terms, which means extra hours will be required during these times. Purpose of the Role

The Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating, delivering and monitoring educational, recreational and enrichment activities as part of our award-winning Bright Futures Children’s and Young People’s Programme. Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan and coordinate holiday activities, trips and workshops that promote learning, wellbeing, community engagement and social inclusion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with activity providers, venues, schools, community organisations, cultural institutions and other partners to secure and coordinate activities, trips and enrichment opportunities.

What will you do?

We looking for someone to join our team of Suicide Bereavement Advisers who are the first port of call for people looking for support following their loss.

It is a hybrid role with a 60/40 split between working in our office in Westminster and from home.

About the role

As a Suicide Bereavement Advisor you will:

• Manage a caseload of assigned clients.

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients over the phone and via email and SMS.

• Provide a safe space for them to talk about their loss and how it is impacting them, offering them empathy and validation.

• Provide information and advice about practical issues they may be dealing with.

• Where appropriate, refer them to our Counselling Service and help them to fill in the application form.

• Support them to access other relevant services through signposting.

• Log all contacts in our client management system, ensuring accurate records are kept and maintained.

• Meet agreed performance standards around call duration, timely note completion and consistent caseload management, in line with our commitment to fairness and consistency for clients and team.

• Help with ongoing initiatives to improve our services, including opportunities to contribute to resource creation, training and presenting, and wider projects.

• Support the Client Care team where needed, including covering the phone line and helping with administrative tasks when available.

• Liaise with other relevant organisations to build our connections within the sector and increase awareness of our services.

• Attend and contribute to team and staff meetings.

• Attend training, conferences and workshops in line with continuous professional development.

• Represent the charity at relevant events

• Work in accordance with our values and follow all policies and procedures.

About you

You will have experience of working on a helpline or a client-facing role, ideally in the area of mental health; or you may be studying to be a counsellor.

The role

Lead the growth and delivery of Cruse's External Training & Consultancy programme, combining business development, customer relationship management, and delivery oversight to make Cruse the leading provider of bereavement training in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

You will be responsible for managing our external training programme. The programme has been delivering high-quality grief and bereavement training to over 370 external organisations and thousands of individuals for the past ten years. This role will be responsible for sourcing, planning and managing customer engagements, and ensuring Cruse is the leading training provider for loss and bereavement in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

You will be responsible for developing a sales and marketing strategy, targeting relevant organisations and selling our training products. You will be overseeing the organisation of training sessions and then handing over to one of our trainers to deliver the sessions, providing support where needed, monitoring and acting on feedback, and always ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service.

About the Role

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, insurance, uni money and much more. Children and young people love having the chance to talk about money, ask questions and think about what they are going to do with theirs!

We are looking to recruit a member of staff to help carry out the day-to-day management of the Workshop content, resources and delivery through our freelance trainer network, as well as deliver some Workshops directly to children and young people themselves. The applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring The Money Charity’s Financial Education work is carried out efficiently and to the best standards, with opportunity for in-role development and professional growth. 

We are looking for somebody with the drive and initiative to take this area of work forward as we seek to grow our delivery levels and reach in 2027 and 2028. The applicant should have fantastic presentational skills, enjoy being creative, and be confident in a classroom environment. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing children and young people with life skills, as well as supporting the charity’s aims and objectives.
