We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business, and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.

This is a permanent part-time, and yet flexible role, for 3 days a week. We’ll explore the exact hours and timing with you and together find what works.

Your work with us will raise awareness about the climate crisis and the importance of sustainability in the business world in order to create a liveable future. You’ll help us restore wildlife and marine habitats, improve livelihoods in rural communities, protect against deforestation, alleviate climate anxiety in our young and of course help tackle climate change head on.

What does the role involve: 

• Grow our annual and long-term funding.
• Research and successfully secure new long-term relationships with exciting brands and large corporate donors whose company values align with ours.
• Take the helm in the ongoing stewardship of these accounts, keeping them enthused about being part of JUST ONE Tree, the impact they’ve had and what their involvement means we can achieve together.
• Designing and implementing strategies to increase funding and strong partnerships that raise brand awareness and reach new audiences.
• Research networking, speaking events and opportunities for the CEO, yourself and others to attend, to build our network and profile. 
   

About you:

What’s in it for you

Working remotely – Like to work from home? No worries, our team is spread out all around the world. However, for this role we are seeking someone who lives in the UK and a commutable distance to London for team meet-ups, client meetings and attending events.

About the Team

You will be part of the Help for Heroes Community Fundraising Team, who work together to build support in the community to secure donations and build long time partnerships with community organisations / supporters and volunteers to deliver the annual community fundraising budget year on year. You will report to the National Senior Fundraising Manager and work collaboratively across the charity to drive income to support our veterans and their families.

WWF, the largest conservation organisation in the world, is seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to manage and oversee the expansion of their online fundraising and to achieve acquisition and retention income growth targets.

WWF is an independent conservation organisation, striving to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife. The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). The post-holder will create and implement online donor acquisition and retention strategies, as well as develop a diverse portfolio of fundraising products for WWF International. The role is also responsible for providing vision and leadership for WWF International in the fast-moving area of digital fundraising.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team. WWF International is aiming to strengthen its digital fundraising capacity by optimising the current technical infrastructure (contact management tool, mass engagement tool, etc) and develop a strong online donor experience to acquire and retain donors in selected WWF International markets.

The ideal candidate will have significant levels of experience in the field of digital fundraising and of using digital to drive supporter action online and offline. This should include experience of designing, planning and delivering successful digital activities, such as designing and optimising the donor journey, SEM/SEO/SMO, social media (paid social) and/or digital advertising campaigns (paid search, Google grants) that generate incremental income. In terms of skills, you will need to be creative, entrepreneurial, be able to think strategically, design effective data-based action plans, and possess excellent project management skills. Finally, alongside strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, you will be proactive and results-driven with a ‘can do’ attitude to work.

This role will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. Line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

 About the Role 

• Lead the implementation of a celebrity strategy and engagement plan to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with high profile individuals
• Work with the Brand & Communications and Fundraising teams to proactively identify and grow relationships with talent that broadens our reach as a charity 
• Develop creative concepts which can be used to engage celebrities and amplify their involvement across multiple channels and platforms. Draft briefing notes for celebrities, quotes and press releases about their activity. 
• Review existing relationships with high profile supporters and assess where there are opportunities to leverage these relationships to help deliver St John strategic messages. 
• Develop and participate in a network of counterparts at other charities to maintain a focus on continual improvement and innovation within this field in relation to high profile supporters and upskill St John People to spot opportunities for celebrity engagement.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be highly motivated, and results driven. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a strategy to enhance Action4Youths profile. This role is key in promoting brand awareness, engaging audiences, driving traffic and will enable the success of increased sales and fundraising.

You will lead on the creation of engaging content plans to promote Action4Youth’s work to multiple audiences, across multiple channels including PR, web, social media, e comms and print to increase engagement amongst partners, supporters and donors.

This job combines management responsibilities with being hands on and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is practical and able to get things done effectively.

Key areas of responsibility:

Strategy

• Supported by the Development Director, lead on the development and implementation of our marketing and communications strategy to position the charity and influence its many audiences.
• Develop engaging campaigns and events, from inception to implementation, to grow brand awareness, sales of our programmes and facilitate community fundraising.

· Lead on the formation of engaging and creative project plans to activate successful campaigns across all channels.

Marketing

· Take overall responsibility for the production and implementation of creative and compelling multimedia content, including, scheduling, reporting and analysis for driving and improving results.

· Analyse and report performance metrics and insights by producing regular performance, reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI reports in order to monitor the effectiveness of digital activity.

· Ensure the website works for optimum customer and visitor journey to improve analytics and ensure content and pages are easily accessible.

· Create and co-ordinate digital advertising and email marketing activity to support campaigns and organisational goals and provide reports to monitor effectiveness.

• Collate and prepare all marketing materials for a range of print collateral to support the charities work and define distribution and dissemination channels.

Communications

· Be the PR and media lead by planning, developing, and implementing PR and media strategies.

• Generate story-worthy press releases to facilitate coverage, increase awareness of all areas of service provision and elevate campaigns.

· Work collaboratively with the media and build strong relationships with key press and community figures via networking and events.

• Plan press and photo opportunities and attend events to optimise engagement.
• Develop and implement regular E-comms to different audiences by building strong and compelling email campaigns.

Other

· Monitor and report on performance against monthly KPIs and objectives and ensure planned expenditure is within budget.

• Monitor and evaluate the success of all marketing activities and use outcomes to inform and shape the future of our initiatives.
• Oversee media monitoring systems
• and ensure compliance with GDPR/Data Protection.
• Line manage the Marketing Executive and provide effective support and development.
• Work closely with Senior Management Team and other Action4Youth colleagues to effectively prioritise communications from the charity.
• Proactively build relationships with the wider statutory and voluntary partners across the charity’s areas of operation.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

At least 5 years’ experience in a PR and /or marketing function (agency or client).

A proven track record of managing media relations and planning successful PR campaigns.

Extensive knowledge of digital media across all platforms, including web, socials and E-comms and implementing and managing campaigns.

Experience of developing and delivering multimedia campaigns to multiple audiences.

Experience of managing budget planning and allocating resource.

Strong written and verbal skills across all delivery platforms: PR, socials, web and E-comms. With the ability to write creative and engaging copy.

Experienced in using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and Later (Desirable)

Experience of collating and utilising analytics to inform future development.

Experience of leadership and managing and developing a team.

Experience of the charitable sector. (Desirable)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.

Experience of creating compelling and engaging marketing collateral through software such as Canva. (Desirable)

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role to lead on Safe Ground's programme delivery, including content creation and producing, with a strategic direction!

SIG Safe Ground is an award-winning charity which delivers high-quality, group work interventions to people in prison and community settings. 

Our arts-based therapeutic group work focuses on relationships and identity, particularly in reclaiming and reframing imposed identities while offering access to new perspectives, creating opportunities for discussion and debate, and inviting participants to take risks, experiencing themselves and each other in new ways.

You will report to the Head of Criminal Justice Services and line manage the programmes coordinator, as well as work closely with our services based within HMP Lowdham Grange and HMP Altcourse. You will lead on the development of new creative work, identifying gaps and opportunities, working alongside various teams to open new business opportunities to secure funding, and facilitate the programmes we deliver, mainly in prisons and community settings. We are looking for someone to bring a new creative outlook, able to be agile and think of new ways to promote Safe Ground, and develop our resources, this could include delivering theatre productions, films, and podcasts. 

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9 - 5 although you may need to work outside these hours as required. The role will be hybrid, working from home, our central office in Islington, and able to visit various sites across London, Nottingham, Liverpool, and additional locations as required. 

Please note: This role will include the need to undertake additional prison vetting as part of the onboarding process as occasional service delivery in prisons forms part of this position.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

• Manage a network of delivery sites and ensure contractual compliance, in locations which include but is not limited to prisons and community settings.
• Oversee the development of additional creative content including but not limited to theatre productions, short films, events, and other media products.
• Co-facilitate group work programmes, working in partnership with relevant colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with teams to monitor and gain feedback, evaluate, and develop programmes to ensure they are fit for purpose and drive engagement. Ensure revisions are implemented and coordinated organisation wide.

CREATIVE LEAD

• Create and deliver engaging high-quality programmes which support rehabilitation, reintegration, and reablement for participants in various stages of their personal journey which can be used as the core curriculum for various delivery teams.
• Design and deliver high quality training and quality assurance support to management and delivery teams across the SIG network.
• Support with the creation and dissemination of social media content and other content to enhance SIG Safe Ground’s reputation and brand.

ORGANISATIONAL GROWTH

• Provide strategic operational leadership and direction for Safe Ground, support with the continuation of finding new and existing opportunities working alongside various leadership teams.
• Lead on new contracts, supporting teams to ensure new contracts are implemented to a high standard following correct processes and policy.
• Coordinate aspects of promotion, recruitment, and evaluation of Safe Ground’s programmes.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours
• Previous experience in contract management and reporting of projects or programmes
• Previous experience in facilitation of programmes and/or training for various groups
• Previous experience in people management and development
• IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
• Ability to create, develop, and deliver new programmes and/or creative content in various settings such as prisons, communities, and wider criminal justice settings
• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to travel to various services and work within the prison setting

What we would like, but not essential:

• Relevant professional qualification in applied theatre, drama, or a field related to programme delivery or health and social care in criminal justice system
• Previous experience in developing, producing, and/or performing professional productions for example film, television, or theatre productions
• Previous experience with commissioners, supporting or contributing to research and evaluation projects
• Previous experience in supporting winning new contracts for example in bid writing or fundraising activities
• Financial Management experience: Budget setting, analysis, and cost reduction
