Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly and passionate staff team in Accrington, Lancashire.
We provide quality care and support to residents with a range of support needs, primarily learning disabilities. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including: movie nights, gardening, board games, arts and crafts and many more!
Your role will include:
- Providing personal care, administering medication and helping with other domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning,
- Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities,
- Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest,
- You will be paid on a weekly basis.

You will promote structure, boundaries and routine in the home and in the local community to enforce a safe and nurturing environment. You will also be involved in the effective running of the home, facilitating activities in the home, completing daily household tasks and maintaining the wellbeing of our ladies by offering consistency and predictability. We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who are willing to provide a person-centred approach to care.
Experience of working in the care sector is desirable but not essential as we will provide all training necessary for the role. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our team in Coppull, Chorley. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to work within our supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, physical needs, and support needs. Your role will involve providing consistent, positive support, helping each person achieve independence and outcome-focused goals within their own person-centred plan.
As a Senior Support Worker, your duties will include ensuring that all service users receive high-quality, individualised, person-centred support, providing mentorship, support, and guidance to the staff team, developing warm and trusting relationships with service users, and encouraging them to express their needs, views, and concerns. You will also support the management of service delivery, effectively meeting the needs of the service users. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require working evenings and weekends.
