We are seeking an organised, proactive and diligent Membership and Engagement Coordinator to lead on the administrative support for our members and the wider Engagement team. The post holder will be responsible for providing a seamless experience for members wanting to join the ESU or for those renewing their membership. The Membership and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships with members and branch chairs, finding ways to involve members in the work of the ESU and maintaining oversight of the organisation’s CRM. The post holder will also help support the ESU’s events and international work.

Responsibilities:

· Support the Membership Manager to implement a new recruitment strategy to grow ESU membership in agreed target audiences

· Work with the Membership Manager to ensure a straightforward renewals process, this includes sending email and postal renewal communications, updating lapsed memberships and taking credit and debit card payments.

· Ensure membership records on the CRM are accurate and up-to-date.

· Assemble and dispatch Welcome Packs to new members.

· Act as the first point of contact for current and prospective members and assist with their queries.

· Assist with the production of monthly membership statistics and reports.

· Ensure the ESU has robust and clearly documented membership processes and make suggestions to enhance and resolve issues that arise.

· Maintain records of international ESUs and support the Director of Global Engagement with sending communications to this group.

· Liaise with branch chairs to support their requirements and provide details on membership statuses for their branch members.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.

About World Child Cancer

Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.

World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.

Overview of the role

This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.

You will join a small but ambitious and high performing team that contributes significantly to World Child Cancer’s annual income of c. £2m.

Hackney Foodbank is looking for a Volunteer Manager to join their team 2 days per week (14 hours).

Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

The Volunteer Manager role is responsible for recruiting, engaging and deploying volunteers into a wide variety of roles across the charity.

• Work with the Warehouse Manager and Food Distribution teams to support the recruitment journey and retention of volunteers. Encourage people to volunteer through a variety of marketing and promotion approaches, including social media and working with our Communications and Fundraising team to develop a strategy for volunteers. Develop, coordinate, and engage a network of around 150 active volunteers. Book and signpost volunteers to relevant and engaging volunteer training sessions. Role Description

Volunteers

o Working with the CEO and Head of Support Services develop and deliver the Volunteering Strategy for the organisation.

Role: CRM & Systems Administrator

This new role is essential to the success of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director’s Office and the whole team, in providing effective research and administration support. The CRM & Systems Administrator will provide support across all fundraising areas including individual giving, corporate sponsorship and trusts and foundations as well as playing a vital role in keeping all Museum systems working effectively.
This includes processing donations and gift aid and maintaining records on the CRM. You will work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to help implement the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy and streamline all CRM and supporter processes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with a flair for collaborative working and information management who is looking to expand their administration skillset and make a tangible impact on our work, in particular supporter relationship management.
Critical to this role and the ongoing project of managing information, income generation and communications, will be the collection, management and sharing of data within our data and digital eco-systems.

Key objectives in first 6 months:

• Completed the migration of supporter data to Beacon CRM, working closely with the Project Manager: Director’s Office to ensure that data is managed in the most effective way to aid relationship management and income generation going forward
• Planned a phased migration of day-to-day organisational information into SharePoint over 12months to ensure effective working practices across the organisation
• Supported all staff with records management and general administration
• Supported the HR Manager with timely and efficient HR administration including inductions, off-boarding, staff training & events
   

Key responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Finance Processes

• Maintain and regularly update the CRM system by logging all applications made and pending, prospects, funding received, reporting deadlines, reports, thank you letters and all other supporter correspondence
• Process donations, pledges and ticket payments from individuals, organisations and trusts and foundations, ensuring gift acknowledgements on CRM are up-to-date and any information related to gifts, grants and donations received is captured accurately and consistently
• Day-to-day administration of the Museum’s Friends, patrons and corporate sponsorship schemes and 1700 Clubs, as directed by the Philanthropy and Partnerships team
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records of funded projects
• Support the Finance team with Gift Aid administration as required

Data & Insights

• Assist in data capture and gathering, including statistics or insight to support reporting, business cases, reports and funding bids
• Research trusts, businesses, and individuals with a view to identifying potential supporters and maintaining an up-to-date and accurate records of such contacts, updating the team, CRM and prospect pipelines on changes to information
• Ensure that strict confidentiality and GDPR legislation and guidance is adhered to in all aspects of recording data and sharing information in research profiles
• Work with internal teams to appropriately segment and steward new contacts through the CRM, including making data selections for email marketing campaigns.
• Monitor data quality by regularly creating and executing processes to cleanse and standardise data in the CRM
• Help to ensure income from visitors is maximised via Goodbox, Beacon, on-site signage and communications etc, and, with support from the Visitor Engagement, Commercial & Operations & Communications teams, move every customer on to their next step of supporter journey, evaluating touch points and messaging both onsite and online

Organisational Infrastructure

• Schedule priority internal meetings, including all-staff meetings, diary meetings and training sessions
• Support Project Manager: Director’s Office with Leadership & Governance, including setting up and scheduling of Trustee meetings, ensuring hybrid options are delivered, catering etc
• Arrange staff away-days, outings and celebrations
• Deliver general administrative support to SMT and colleagues as required, including basic IT support and HR admin, as directed by the HR Manager
• Manage the ordering of office items, including stationary and support users with IT inductions, including DSE requirements and checklists
• Work the Project Manager: Director’s Office, and with all departments to understand and map requirements for an integrated digital infrastructure framework
• Work with all departments to ensure that digital assets are stored according to data retention and records management best practice guidelines
• Work with the Director of Commercial & Operations, the IT Working Group and IT Support contract via Cara Networks to support the smooth migration of data currently stored on shared physical drives, to SharePoint and other digital platforms, through a phased transition process
• Facilitate the use, internal awareness and confidence with digital systems, creating and managing logins and taking responsibility for suspending user accounts when staff leave

• To perform any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Directors, Project Manager: Director’s Office and Philanthropy and Partnerships team.

Person specification
Essential:

• Excellent administration and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and face-to-face with the Museum’s different stakeholders
• Experience working with not-for-profit databases, such as Beacon CRM

We're currently hiring for the role of Data and Interventions Manager. This will sit within the newly formed Development Team, which will lead on fundraising and supporter relations, and help ensure excellent use of data across the organisation.

This includes providing support to those living with a brain tumour diagnosis, their family and their friends. As part of our services team, you will ensure we engage all groups including those disadvantaged and less heard from, championing the voices of our wider community to grow our involvement network.  You will also collaborate with those professionally committed to the cause, including our research community, to ensure that people affected by brain tumours have the chance to both shape and participate in research opportunities. You will be responsible for measuring and sharing the difference we are making through the delivery and analysis of our Improving Brain Tumour Care Surveys, empowering the community to identify the gaps in treatment and care experiences, so we can make a difference where it matters most.

Key accountabilities:

· Grow the involvement of the community in driving development of The Charity’s work including support, campaigns, fundraising, research and strategy

Bexley Food Alliance Project Coordinator

The Bexley Food Alliance is a new network which was funded by the GLA to work towards taking pressure off the emergency food aid services and providing increased financial support to Bexley residents. This network has now expanded and aims to build a collaborative network of agencies that can increase fairer access to healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate food, as well as any additional support residents might need. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to take over the day-to-day running of this network (see below for a brief description). This is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to take on a part-time, one-year project, perhaps as a stepping stone into something more significant, or perhaps you’re returning to work or changing careers. This is an opportunity to be at the start of an exciting, innovative partnership project, shaping a network and forming strong alliances with various agencies. 

You will work closely with the VCS within Bexley to build the capacity and capabilities of local groups, provide partnership/networking opportunities that enable them to carry out their own objectives effectively and offer high quality services.

You will work flexibly, applying initiative to provide consistent and seamless support to organisations.  You will support across a variety of charity development but focus on food partnerships and wraparound support to provide more holistic support.

Key Duties:

• Build and promote positive working relationships between VCS groups and organisations, statutory partners, commissioners and funders.
• Work with a wide range of delivery partners and other key stakeholders to maximise the use of community resources and ensure opportunities are maximised.
• Undertake community and outreach work – particularly to parts of the borough where the VCS voice is less heard.
• Encourage and support groups to seek funding from a range of sources including contracts and grants and provide the necessary support.
• Use our database to keep well maintained records of support given, funding achieved as a result of our support, case studies and outcomes, brief summary reports for monitoring and development purposes.
• To continuously engage in a mapping process, highlighting existing providers and supporting the start-up of new services.
• To organise and facilitate network meetings bringing organisations together to tackle food poverty and offer increased support with additional needs such as financial, physical and mental health wellbeing.
• To build relationships with various organisations, offering diverse support to increase collaboration, new offers and increased support.
• To work closely with the Local Authority to support policy change.
• To build relationships and network outside of the borough to bring in good practice and successful initiatives.
