Bow Foodbank is proud to be a community solution to the problem of food insecurity in East London. Volunteers are involved in every area of foodbank life, from carrying out day-to-day tasks to supporting back office functions and governance of the Foodbank. This role is vital to make sure our volunteers have a positive experience and can contribute to our work.

You will support the Operations Manager in ensuring volunteers are equipped to come to our sessions and support the work of the foodbank. You will be responsible for managing every stage of the volunteer journey, from onboarding to providing feedback.

• · You will work with the trustees and senior team to ensure volunteers have a strong voice within the foodbank, 
• · You will be the volunteer platform super user, leading volunteer administration and record keeping.
• · You will be responsible for monitoring volunteer training, ensuring that volunteers are equipped to volunteer safely            and uphold  the values of Bow Foodbank as we interact with members of the community.
• · You will maintain the volunteer CRM and be the main point of contact with the platform provider.
• · You will roll out and maintain the Volunteer Handbook, ensuring all volunteers have access to Bow Foodbank                    Policies and  Procedures.
• · You will work with the Corporate and Community Manager to plan group volunteering sessions.
• · You will work with the Volunteer Wellbeing Lead to ensure volunteers have access to the same signposted                        services as our guests.

Role purpose

This role would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a charity finance role, who has experience or knowledge of all the core accounts department processes and some understanding of different charity income streams. You might be studying for an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT or ACCA) or be qualified by experience.

A training package may be available for an applicable accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Day to day management and systems administration of Xero accounting software, expenses software (ExpenseIn), and other linked financial applications.
• Carry out monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors and creditors, and set up payment runs.
• Prepare monthly management accounts journals (prepayments, accruals, depreciation, deferred and accrued income) and control account reconciliations.
• Being the systems administrator for the Fundraising CRM system (Donorfy) and linked platforms and applications (e.g. JustGiving, Stripe, EventBright).
• Database management of Donorfy and linked platforms and applications.
• Reconcile data between Donorfy and Xero, and where necessary, with other linked platforms and applications.
• Ensure Gift Aid returns are correctly submitted to HMRC (via Donorfy)
• Support with the development and implementation of new systems and procedures.
• Provide training and induction to new joiners in using Donorfy and ExpenseIn as well as for any other relevant platforms and applications.
• Business partnering - provide day to day support to the wider organisation with finance and fundraising system queries, payment information, and supplier queries.
• Working with budget holders to provide transaction reports, income and expenditure reports, and updates on payments from finance and fundraising systems to assist them to manage their project budgets.
• Assist Finance Director and Fundraising team where necessary with financial reporting to funders.

Skills/ experience

Essential

• Proven experience in all areas of accounts - purchase and sales ledger, banking and cash management, basic management accounts.
• Experience of Xero or similar cloud-based finance system.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel and an ability to quickly learn new systems.

Desirable

• Accountancy qualification or studying for (e.g. AAT, ACCA).
• Experience of Donorfy or similar CRM system.
• Experience of dealing with charitable income and an understanding of how to account for restricted grants.
• Experience of liaising with auditors and other external stakeholders.

The Data and CRM Team require a Scrum Master to join the team who will be responsible for managing the sprint cycles for the Salesforce Development team and Business Intelligence team.  Following the launch of Salesforce as ARUK’s new CRM system in December 2023, the team have adopted Scrum methodology, and the Scrum Master will be required to continue to embed this new way of working in the team.

The Scrum Master will have a strategic role to play in understanding the organisational priorities and how this influences the work of the Data and CRM Team.  You will be required to work across teams and at all levels of the organisation, with communication a core part of this role.  You will also be required to provide project management support to key initiatives in the Data and CRM Team.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Facilitate the Salesforce Development team and Business Intelligence team’s fortnightly sprints.

· Manage the sprint meetings, ensuring outcomes are always clear and blockers are identified at the earliest opportunity.

· Work with the sprint teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the backlog is maintained, priorities for upcoming sprints are identified, tasks are sized, and the sprint workload is realistic.

· Responsible for ensuring blockers are identified and working with the relevant stakeholders to eliminate them.

· Facilitate discussions between teams where there are conflicting priorities or new priorities emerge that require re-prioritising the sprint backlog.

· Ensure there is an excellent communication strategy in place, so all key stakeholder groups are fully informed of the prioritisation process, progress during sprints and what has been delivered each sprint.

· Coach the Data and CRM Team in Agile Scrum principles and practices and guide the team to a higher scrum maturity.

· Train new starters in the Data and CRM Team and key internal stakeholders in the ARUK approach to Scrum delivery.

· Provide project management support for the Data and CRM Team on internal team projects that fall outside of the sprint work.

Job summary
The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a Society of over 1,700 members from 100 countries, who work in, or are interested in tropical medicine and global health.

RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. They happen across the UK and around the world, both online and in person. Our events add to the impact of our work in tropical medicine and global health, but also raise funds to allow us to continue our work as a charity.

The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised, flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be comfortable liaising with venues for meetings space, developing budgets for events, managing logistical aspects of the events programme and setting up new events online and in person.

• Lead the ongoing training and support to colleagues on Beacon CRM database. 
• Ensure our database and other data solutions comply with data standards and maximum value can be obtained from the data captured.
• Create dashboards and visualisations, providing insights to enhance how CoppaFeel! measures impact and tracks performance. 
• Create and manage bespoke reports to provide insights for teams.
• Improve the data flows from third party software to our CRM system, supporting colleagues with its functionality.
• Translate data into easy to understand information and reports.
• Identify improvements to data processes (Eg collecting / collating data/ automations etc) and project manage their implementation.
• Work collaboratively across CoppaFeel! to collect user requirements for new and existing data products. 
• Responsible for data imports and data flows. 
• Maintain and manage consent on the CRM ensuring GDPR compliance.

The Supporter Relations Team plays a pivotal role in building relationships with our supporters and assisting our fundraising team to raise vital funds that will support our mission to beat blood cancer within a generation. The main purpose of this role is to lead and develop the Supporter Relations Team to deliver excellent customer service to our supporters from the beginning of their journey with Blood Cancer UK. Our processes need to be as efficient and effective as possible to get the best from our supporters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. The post holder will take responsibility to help build lasting relationships with our supporters through written and verbal communication and ensure efficient administration of donations and maintaining accurate data on our CRM system. The Website Project Manager role:

An exciting role as we take our organisation forward with a new website, with improved UX and UI. The Website Project Manager will have responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the project with support from the Head of Digital and Director of Marketing and Digital.

Essential experience, skills and knowledge required for the Website Project Manager role:

• Established project manager with at least 2 years’ experienceof large scale website projects including CRM/Database integrations 
• Proven skills of managing all elements of a project from end to end working with the agency across build, design, testing and any relevant integration of co-dependent data ie. CRM system  
• Exceptional PM skills including timing and budget control and ensuring internal team is kept up to date at all times 
• Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture whilst being operational 
• CRM/UX/UI: Expert in content management systems and have extensive experience in developing user journeys, optimising user experience and delivering multi variate testing  
• Excellent PC and web skills  
• A great understanding of SEO and the impact of actions on search visibility 

Key responsibilities of the Website Project Manager:

• Working with the Director of Marketing & Digital, Head of Digital and the web agency to oversee the content and design, technical work up, and finally the delivery of the website
• Working closely with the Marketing & Digital team to migrate content to the new website, managing the strategy and timings to ensure this key milestone of the project is achieved on time
• Organising workshops and other internal meetings to ensure that all directorates have input and have clearly defined tasks and timelines to follow
• Assisting the Head of Digital and wider digital team in the management of the current website as well as the new website. This includes regular updates, page creation for campaigns and search engine optimisation
• Creating deadlines and action items to achieve the end goal, and be the point person for the management of each item
• Managing communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date 
• Delivering the project on time and within budget
• Assisting the Head of Digital in creating a Standard Operating Procedure for management of the website once it’s up and running

Other knowledge, skills and experience

• Digital marketing principles and activation techniques 
• Good knowledge of W3C web standards 
• Experience of a variety of CMS systems
• HTML/CSS and Workbooks knowledge is advantageous but not essential 
• Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge

St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing, and improving community connection amongst older people.
