The role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the Philanthropy and Partnerships team at Diabetes UK. With more people living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed. Role description:
In this role you will
- Oversee prospecting and data and information management that underpins all of the Philanthropy and Partnerships teams activities working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Create and implement innovative and data driven strategies for prospect research, moves management, partnership approval and pipeline development
- Evaluate and provide critical analysis of fundraising and prospecting activity to deliver actionable insight, process innovation and project management
- Create project management plans for funding our ambitions and critical pieces of philanthropy and partnerships operational work

The role
Working to the COO, the Finance & CRM Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function and overseeing the operation, data quality, and user support of the organisation’s new CRM system. The role encompasses financial processes, CRM data and reporting, governance, and wider organisational activity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
• Manage finance operations: ledgers, payment runs, reconciliations, VAT and Gift Aid where applicable.
• Work with the external payroll bureau to prepare monthly payroll.
• Liaise with HSBC regarding direct debit set-up and management.
• Run and validate financial reports and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Provide support in updating Companies House and Charity Commission records.
• Liaise with Somerset House regarding office administration.
• Support the external audit with reports, schedules and response to queries
CRM and Systems Management & User Support
• Manage daily CRM operations and provide support for reporting on contacts, organisations, events, fundraising, and prize submissions.
• Carry out system admin including user access, fields, workflows, and reports.
• Perform regular data quality checks and cleansing.
• Act as first-line CRM support for staff including onboarding new users.
• Manage access permissions.
• Liaise with CRM supplier, logging and tracking support tickets.
• Communicate system updates internally
• Support CRM-related compliance and data protection.
• Create simple CRM process documentation.
• Support CRM use for planning and delivering events.
• Oversee CRM workflows for prize submissions including tracking and outcomes.

- Define, refine, and continuously communicate the CRM product vision, roadmap, and value proposition

You will have demonstrable experience as a Product Owner, or similar role in digital, technology or CRM product environments. You will have hands on experience of a leadership role in agile teams and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft dynamics 365, including Agile Product Owner certifications and completion of 365 Fundamentals Learning Pathway.
This is a full time, permanent position. You will be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

Role purpose
Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver excellent supporter care, including responding to email, post and telephone enquiries, issuing receipts, and carrying out donor follow‑up.
- Provide warm and consistent stewardship to donors, including personalised contact such as telephone calls, letters, handwritten cards and emails.
- Be the first point of contact for community groups, schools and clubs, offering guidance, support and fundraising materials.
