Trusts and Foundations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from Trusts and Foundations from first engagement to account management, delivery and reporting.
First Give is a small charity, with a growing fundraising team and big ambitions. You will therefore be someone who thrives in a start-up environment, willing to try new things. We are looking for an exceptional writer, someone who can translate the impact of our work into proposals that inspire and motivate the reader to give.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and the Director to manage relationships with existing donors, and leading on the development of high value bids to expand our work. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident communicator and grant fundraiser with experience managing and deepening relationships with high value trusts and foundations gifts – someone who thrives on storytelling and social impact. We currently have a strong pipeline of trusts and foundations and are looking for someone eager to write applications and secure funding.
Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week; core hours - 10am till 4pm
Location: We have office space at the Pears Hub in West Hampstead, where some people come in one or two times a week, we're very flexible.

We are recruiting a fixed-term Policy Campaigns Manager to lead our campaigns function at ARUK. The Policy Campaigns Manager will report to the Senior Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager and have line management responsibilities for the Policy Campaigns Officer.
In this role you will be joining a friendly and fast-moving Policy and Public Affairs team, during an exciting year for dementia research as we campaign on our core mission for a cure. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to oversee our active campaigns and identify opportunities to mobilise our supporters and drive influence and impact for and with people affected by dementia.
You will lead the development of the campaigns function for ARUK, building on existing initiatives, championing best practice in campaigns and building our reach and engagement. You will also be responsible for working across a range of functions including our policy, research, communications, digital, brand and volunteering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver our live campaigns and marshal our campaigner base to advocate for change in dementia research and for people affected by dementia
· Work with colleagues across research, policy and public affairs teams to develop and deliver our campaigns that mobilise people affected by dementia and our supporters to influence decision makers and change policy and practice
· Work with the policy managers to ensure that our campaigns align with our strategic priorities and theories of change
· Work closely with public affairs colleagues to plan campaign actions that align with key political influencing moments e.g. Budget; Spending Review; King’s speech; General Elections
Develop and deliver our campaign communications to grow the reach, influence and impact of our campaigns
· Lead the development and growth of our campaigner network, building supporter journeys, and producing compelling and creative campaigner communications across email, social media and other channels
· Work with colleagues across CRM and digital to improve data management, delivering regular reporting on campaign actions and use this data to enhance the campaigner experience and empower more people to take action.

Line Manage our Policy Campaigns Officer
· Oversee the work of the policy campaigns officer including setting objectives and providing support to a range of workstreams.
· Consider the learning and development needs of the policy campaigns officer and ensure that they are able to grow and develop in their role.
Involve people affected by dementia in campaigns development and delivery
· Identify campaign champions and storytellers with lived experience who can advocate for change
· Provide training and ongoing support to people with lived experience to empower them to take part in and shape our campaigns
Research, insight and continuous improvement
· Provide expert advice across the charity on campaigning, taking an open, flexible and innovative approach
· Develop mechanisms to keep abreast of best practice in campaigns and any legal or regulatory issues specifically around mental capacity and consent, data protection and lobbying etc

The Philharmonia is seeking to appoint a Box Office and CRM Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of the Orchestra’s CRM strategy, systems and audience experience. The roles focuses on ensuring a seamless customer journey while overseeing the effective operation of the Box Office and the ongoing development of Tessitura.
This is a key role overseeing both the day-to-day operation and strategic development of the Philharmonia’s Box Office and CRM function. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing ticketing and customer strategies that maximise sales income, improve conversion and enhance the audience experience.
As a public facing member of staff, the Box Office and CRM Manager will be a key representative of the Orchestra, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient and accessible service whether booking online, by phone or in person. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service is therefore essential.
The role will also lead on the effective management and ongoing development of Tessitura, supporting audience insight, segmentation, reporting and customer journeys across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Development, Finance and Concerts, the successful candidate will help ensure that customer data is used effectively to support audience growth, income generation and informed decision-making.
Previous experience of using Tessitura is essential. From hall dressing and campaign set-up to system optimisation, reporting and user support, this role will be one of the Orchestra’s lead Tessitura users. Experience of working within a Tessitura consortium would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic planning and implementation:
Work closely with Marketing and Development colleagues to develop and implement CRM strategies that support audience growth, income generation, membership retention/acquisition and fundraising objectives
Develop customer journeys, audience segmentation and data-led approaches that improve conversion, retention and engagement across the customer lifecycle
Support the development of sales forecasts, benchmarks and performance analysis, providing insight to inform campaign planning, pricing and decision-making

Brief role description
The NST Client Advisor plays a key role in the Nova Support Team, acting as the first point of contact for veterans who have served in the UK armed forces and are at risk of, or are involved in, the criminal justice system. Role Description
Volunteering Matters Brighter Futures CEC works with pupils (aged 12-18) who are care experienced or on the edge of care across the City of Edinburgh.
The project has two parts, one is to work one to one with the young people referred to the project, supporting them to experience a volunteering placement with local charitable organisations that will build their confidence and allow them to grow and learn new things in a different environment out with school.
The second part is our group work, the Youth Engagement Manager will be responsible for up to 7 small groups within schools across Edinburgh.The Youth Engagement Manager supports the young people engaged in the groups to develop and deliver a Youth Social Action project within their community.
We’re looking for a patient and engaging Youth Engagement Manager to join the Brighter Futures team in Edinburgh. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values and strategy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
To build relationships with the young people, acting in a non-judgemental way to support them through their Brighter Futures journey.
Consistently role modelling and displaying Volunteering Matters organisational values
Deliver and develop the Brighter Futures Schools programme across the City of Edinburgh, meeting ambitious targets and milestones, ensuring all young people engaged achieve positive outcomes
Develop and deliver our Social Action group work project in different schools across Edinburgh.
Work alongside staff form residential units, parents and carers to help support building a relationship with the young people referred to our one-to-one work
Build relationships with different high schools across area through both our group work and one to one program.
To maintain excellent relationships with charity and not-for-profit partners in Edinburgh - ensuring diverse, high quality volunteer roles are available that reflect the needs and interests of young people.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, volunteers, families, school staff, social work, NHS, Education partners, third sector organisations and others.
Support the young people to complete awards and qualifications linked to their volunteering.
To manage all elements of a young persons experience, from referral to completion of their journey
To manage the risk assessment, safeguarding, quality assurance and audit processes as appropriate
Ensure monitoring, impact and evaluation information is collected and that Brighter Futures meets it’s agreed targets, reporting format and schedule.
Assist the Senior Project Manager by preparing Impact Reports
Administration tasks including maintaining effective and accessible records, the use of Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom and other software such as Canva

Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports.
Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments.
Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions.
Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support.
Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy.
Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff.
Identify and support the recruitment and supervision of Day One volunteers, where appropriate.
Work closely in partnership with our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region.
Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed.

Event management and delivery

· Work with the team to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation to meet acquisition targets.

Administration and database
· Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise.

· Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.

· An understanding of the importance of good supporter/customer care, and how to provide this in a fundraising context.
· A strong interest in events & community/ peer-to-peer fundraising activities.
· A results-driven attitude and strong sense of personality accountability.
· Excellent communication and relationship building skills, including written and on the phone/ in-person.
· Excellent organisation skills and an ability to identify the best use of time to complete your work.
· Very good attention to detail, IT skills and the ability to use a CRM database.
· A belief in PCR’s work, goals and our values: innovation, collaboration, accountability & championing the patient voice.
