We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic housing manager to work within our small, busy housing team to provide an effective and responsive service. The role: The Housing Team Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Housing Team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused tenancy management services for ex-Service personnel and their families. Under the guidance of the Head of Housing, the role ensures strong tenant engagement, effective performance monitoring, and compliance with all health and safety regulations. The manager will oversee housing and tenancy budgets within agreed limits, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in alignment with The Stoll Foundation’s charitable objectives. A key aspect of the role involves cross-functional collaboration to maintain a safe, supportive, and responsive housing environment that meets the needs of our community.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of housing and tenancy services, supporting a small team of officers.
- Providing high maintenance standards
- Achieving rent arrears targets and closely managing arrears to minimise losses.
- Achieving performance outcomes and objectives and presenting regular reports on KPIs.
- Ensuring that housing, property and tenancy services comply with best practice, the law and all relevant policies and procedures.

About the role
We are the UK’s largest independent non-profit investigative newsroom. Our reporting is published by media partners around the world and holds power to account across five areas: environment, health, big tech, dirty money and local power.
This role will manage 2–3 of our editorial teams, providing strategic fundraising support to help them deliver journalism that drives real-world change. While the exact portfolio will be confirmed with the successful candidate, the role will initially support 2-3 of our core teams and may also contribute to work on emerging issues such as mis- and disinformation and its impact on UK communities.

Our fundraising
The Bureau is almost entirely funded through grants and donations – without our supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. Over recent years, we’ve grown to a team of 35 people with an annual income of £2.8m, backed by a committed network of trusts, foundations, and individuals.
This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team as we build on those strong relationships and explore new ways to diversify our income.
Responsibilities

Work with project leads to develop their ideas into a strong case for support, translating complex issues into powerful, accessible narratives for funders.

Manage relationships with existing funders, ensuring timely reporting, effective stewardship and continued support.

Research and develop a pipeline of new prospects.

Write compelling proposals and applications to secure new grants.

Collaborate with our other Fundraising Manager, who leads on the remaining themes, and provide support in those areas when needed.

Support the Bureau in identifying ways to diversify our income, such as helping to grow our major donor programme.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035.
Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission.
To ensure Scotty’s delivers high-quality, consistent, and scalable support to those affected by military-connected bereavement, by leading all aspects of service delivery.
You’ll own the structure, systems, standards, and team needed to deliver support across all four Family Programmes (SMILES, SUPPORT, STRIDES, and the planned START programme) and help ensure our support reaches the growing number of families who need us.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Programme Operations & Service Infrastructure
- Overall accountability for the service provided to the bereaved military community.
- Leading, and working closely with, the Head of each delivery Programme to ensure all activities are impactful and meeting the needs of our community.
- Mapping and maintaining the full beneficiary journey across all programmes and cohorts (CYP and adult).
- Developing our first adult focused services and building them in line with the charity’s long-term vision to be supporting more than 25k bereaved people by 2035.
- Being the link between our service delivery and both internal and external technology partners to ensure our systems match, and meet the needs of, our processes.
- Alongside our Operations Team, lead the scoping of a full future CRM (Salesforce) rebuild and related beneficiary tech interfaces such as websites, future app development etc.
- Oversee the design of a 2026 ‘light’ CRM phase to support individual adult service delivery.
- Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of our services.
- Accountability for Safeguarding within the organisation.
Team Leadership
- Support Programme Leads (e.g. Heads of START, SMILES, SUPPORT), providing direction and support as well as ensuring clarity of ownership and goals.

- Work with our Head of People to oversee service recruitment and onboarding.
Quality, Measurement & Improvement
- Define and embed service-level Success Measures (KPIs) across all activities ensuring we know what success looks like for all our activities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Research & Impact to ensure data collection is usable and meaningful.
External Partnerships & Collaborations
- Proactively develop senior-level partnerships with other military and bereavement charities, Armed Forces support organisations, and relevant service providers and stakeholders.
- Explore and propose strategic collaborations where they strengthen the support we offer to families.
- Ensure the new START (single point of contact) Programme becomes an active network-builder in the space.
- Represent Scotty’s externally at events, conferences, meetings etc within the sector.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key link to Outreach and Fundraising — providing insight and service stories to fuel content.
- Work with the Ops team to align delivery processes with systems, IT, and compliance.
- Support bid development and reporting for funders by sharing service insight and outcomes.
The 30-day goals for this role are:
- Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction.
- Spending time with the Families Team and understanding everyone’s role within the charity.

- Development underway of ‘Light’ CRM to launch adult services having supplied detailed brief.
- Taken full accountability for the success of our Family Programmes and associated impact.
- Attended 2-3 sector group meetings representing Scotty’s solo.

About the Role
As Customer Services Manager, you will lead and develop the charity’s customer services, resident engagement and communications functions. Your work will help deliver the organisation’s mission of providing safe, secure and good quality affordable homes for single women across London.
Reporting to the Director of Operations and managing a team that includes Customer Service Advisors, a Resident Engagement and Resolutions Officer and a Communications Officer, you will ensure services are consistent, resident centred and delivered right first time.

BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. We deliver our support across London through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. This is an exciting new role in which you will proactively generate and grow fundraising income across all fundraising streams to enable us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the Irish community. You will support our fundraising strategy by contributing to digital communications and creative content across all channels, in cooperation with project delivery teams. We're looking for a passionate and strategic Supporter Services Manager to join our Fundraising & Marketing Operations team. This will be a full time, 9 month fixed term position based at our offices in King's Cross, London.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated Supporter Services team focused on delivering excellent customer service, whilst managing our relationships with fulfilment agencies which deliver our income processing and merchandise delivery. The role is a hybrid position with an expectation of minimum two days per week in our central London offices.
What you'll do
- Provide clear direction to the team regarding their individual and team based KPIs

- Day to day management of all Engagement Operations third party relationships, including but not limited to Elovate, our primary fulfilment partner.

- Develop and maintain a “Sense brand” for handling incoming communications, to be consistent across communication channel.

- Monitor and, in partnership with the Head of Engagement Operations, update SLAs when they do not reflect a fair balance between organisational ambitions and the reasonable capacity of the team.
- Actively engage and build relationships with colleagues across the charity
- Use informal connections and formal briefings to ensure that you are a product expert in all aspects of the Engagement directorate’s work
- Periodically assess our merchandising process, recommending improvements where realistic and achievable

About you

The Financial Accounting & Control Manager will report into the Head of Central Finance and lead a team of four, overseeing primary ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts production, tax compliance, and treasury management. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness and technical compliance across financial processes, while providing high-quality financial advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation.
