Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that purchasing administration from point of order through to payment is administered in line with agreed Service Levels
- Ensuring Suppliers are informed and up to date with payments, striving to ensure positive supplier engagement as a baseline to securing favourable terms

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver an effective email CRM programme for ZSL and its Zoos (London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo) across the broad range of audience groups (zoo visitors, donors, members, experience bookers, etc.). Your key responsibilities:
- Design and build on-brand email marketing campaigns from end to end. Including copywriting, building emails on Dotdigital, sending campaigns and manage A/B and MVP testing strategy to ensure continuous optimisation of email campaigns.
- Own the overall email campaign plan and delivery, working with audience owners across ZSL to manage email communications, providing guidance and best practice.
- Analyse and segment customer data and maximise this data to deliver effective targeted activity, managing the quality and frequency of messaging. Use this insight to identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling programmes.
- Develop and deliver customer data acquisition strategies and ensure all activity is GDPR compliant.
- Work with the Membership Marketing Manager to fully develop, deliver and manage an effective CRM programme for ZSL to build (automated) supporter journeys along the customer lifecycle, driving loyalty and growing the value of each customer and ROI from CRM activity.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to track and analyse campaign results (engagement, conversion rates, web analytics, ROI) to produce regular reports on campaign performance, and continuously implement improvements based on findings.
- Develop strong working relationships with our Ticketing and Systems teams to understand and use Tessitura, our membership and donations CRM platform as well as ticketing and experiences data from SEE Tickets.
- Manage ZSL’s email service platform (currently Dotdigital) including being responsible for managing and maintaining the data within it to ensure that all customer data and communication is GDPR complaint, management of the ESP budget and management of the relationship with the ESP supplier.

The Operations Manager is responsible for Dose of Nature’s day-to-day operational management, providing a welcoming and efficient front face and ensuring organisational effectiveness to support the delivery of Dose of Nature’s strategic objectives. Dose of Nature is a mental health charity whose objective is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. Our work is rooted in a wealth of scientific evidence that demonstrates the physiological and psychological benefits of spending time in nature. We deliver ‘nature prescriptions’ to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Our Dose of Nature Prescription Programme is overseen by psychologists and is a genuine alternative to both medication and more traditional psychological interventions. Through a combination of education, first-hand experience, and practical and motivational support, we aim to encourage a greater connection with nature, and inspire lifestyle changes that will have a significant and lasting impact on mental wellbeing. Project teams are formed to address specific initiatives, tasks, or delivery projects. ● Ensure the deliverables of the CCX Operations Team are met in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.

● Manage and supervise staff or contractors within the operations team to ensure effective performance, including roles such as Business Applications Manager, Finance and Office Manager, Data and HR Coordinator.

We are looking for someone with:
● Experience working with young people and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
● A strong understanding of early careers recruitment/application processes.
● A dynamic personality with strong written and verbal communication, combined with empathy and patience, to effectively engage with diverse individuals.
● Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities including administrative aspects.
● The ability to balance firmness with sensitivity when necessary, particularly in managing relationships and safeguarding the wellbeing of young people.
● Relevant lived and/or professional experience (i.e. experience of the challenges faced by those from less-advantaged backgrounds)
● A growth mindset, open to feedback, learning and development
● Excellent IT skills, including demonstrable usage of CRM databases (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent) and other tech tools.

As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.
Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.
Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.
