About the role
In this role you will provide expert support to the Finance team providing financial analysis, delivery of financial month end tasks, production of management reports and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes, which will enable key stakeholders to make the best decisions, taking into account the financial impact, the most effective use of resources and alignment to our corporate strategic objectives.
You will build strong relations with the Finance colleagues you support, providing financial reporting and management information, and advising on operational issues and processes.
You will provide analysis and scrutiny of financial outcomes and other indicators of business performance to inform decision making.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of financial analysis and reporting in a large organisation.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills with demonstrated financial analysis on large data sets.
- Technical finance knowledge and ability to use accounting and office software packages.
- Building and maintaining relationships and influence across a variety of stakeholders.
- An accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential.

Summary of the role:
The Supporter Relations Engagement Team is involved in the planning and development of programmes and projects that puts supporter engagement at the heart of everything do we do. They play a pivotal role in making Muslim Aid more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. The team’s aim is to increase the depth and value of supporter relationships whilst also encouraging repeat giving and overall supporter retention through targeted engagement strategies.
Working within the Supporter Relations Engagement Team, you will develop a supporter centric approach to planning effective multi-channel, multi-product supporter journeys to grow loyalty, engagement, and income. We are looking for someone with an audience and data insight driven approach to identify moments that matter and key touch points to improve the supporter experience. By doing this, you will ensure that each touchpoint across the supporter experience is engaging, effective and reflects Muslim Aids brand and values.
As a confident communicator you will help develop a culture based on understanding and interpreting supporter behaviours and motivations. Using this information, you will lead on mapping journeys and engagements across communications, campaigns and the fundraising portfolio to maximise a supporter’s lifetime value.
About the Role:
- Create new innovative supporter journeys to increase engagement, loyalty and improve income generation.
- Deliver improved supporter journeys and care strategies using insights, evidence and feedback.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant supporter/customer care skills obtained from the commercial or charity sectors.
- Proven engagement developing internal relationships across a complex organisation – working with internal clients to develop and adapt briefs to improve supporter engagement.
- Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Experience of developing innovative and creative engagement programs for supporters/donors.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.

About the role
The role of the Standards and Regulation function is to monitor newspaper, magazine and digital publishers’ compliance with the Editors’ Code of Practice and to take action to address concerns about editorial standards, including by undertaking investigations into serious standards failures as necessary. It’s a busy team that coordinates closely with others at IPSO and outside the organisation, engaging with members of the public, journalists, and experts on a wide variety of subjects. Some recent issues that the standards team has worked on are reporting of sexual offences, suicide, major incidents, and domestic abuse.
As the Standards Policy Officer, you will carry out a range of tasks, including analysing information drawn from complaints received by IPSO, supporting the annual statements process and engaging with a range of representative groups who have concerns about press reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Standards and other colleagues across IPSO.
This is a role for someone who is interested in news and journalism, has excellent communication and analytical skills, and enjoys working with others to achieve a shared purpose. Candidates who demonstrate relevant experience will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through a written exercise prior to short-listing for interview. Dementia UK is currently seeking two Database Officers to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.
As a Database Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files from a variety of sources, seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams and maintaining the accuracy of database process guidance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Your ability to function effectively within a team, coupled with your initiative in prioritising and organising your workload, will be key to success.
With the charity’s move from Raiser’s Edge to Dynamics 365, you will also be involved in the testing of the new database, training of end users, and the writing of new process documentation. About the Role
As our Policy Advisor –Research and Data Monitoring you will support the highest standards of research development, analysis and communication of data relating to the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector.
In this role, you will lead high-level analysis and quality assurance of WASH data use as well as management research resources, include the Research and Evidence Bank, the Research Tracker and the Statistics Bank.
You’ll also:
- Contribute to the design and commissioning of research projects to support advocacy, campaigns, media communications
- Oversea and manage small research projects – facilitating the sharing of research outputs and learnings within GPAC and across the organisation
- Work closely with GPAC colleagues and other WaterAid UK departments and ensure that information on commissioned research projects and learnings are shared widely across the WaterAid Federation (Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Sweden, UK, and USA)
- Play an active role in the research team, support colleagues and provide feedback as required and support any other relevant processes within the remit of the Policy team and GPAC in general
Requirements
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data and statistics, including an ability to seek the latest data from regular sources and to access new sources of data relevant to WaterAid’s work
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills (English language)
- An entrepreneurial approach to supporting influencing work, including the ability to take the initiative and rapidly adapt work plans to seize new and unforeseen opportunities.

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office in London (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). The Analysis team currently works in 3-week planning sprints with two virtual team stand ups a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to contribute to the efficient and accurate handling of income and supporter data. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of income processing, reconciliation, and Gift Aid preparation within a busy fundraising environment.
Working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the charity's CRM (ideally Dynamics 365), ensuring data is correctly coded, imported, and reconciled, and supporting documentation and reporting for audit-readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Import and process income data from platforms such as CAF and direct bank transfers
- Apply correct fund, project, and donation method coding to CRM records
- Conduct weekly income reconciliation using templates and bank reports
- Track and resolve data discrepancies or missing information
- Prepare and maintain documentation for reconciliation and data handling
- Support accurate Gift Aid preparation and legacy income coding
- Coordinate closely with Finance to ensure journal outputs are accurate
- Contribute to data cleansing and reporting to improve CRM data quality
- Assist with fundraising platform integration and support wider CRM projects
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Experience importing income data into CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Understanding of reconciliation and income processing within a nonprofit or fundraising setting
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with reports and reconciliation tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy
- Good knowledge of Gift Aid, coding, and financial tracking
- Familiarity with GDPR and other relevant data protection standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
