World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holder (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cantonese speaking Programme Assistant to join the STEP team making a real difference in the lives of people rebuilding their futures in the UK. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, including administrative coordination, data management, and frontline communication with participants and referral partners. You will play a vital role in ensuring the programme runs efficiently and that both participants and staff are supported with timely and accurate information.

You will also contribute to reporting, analysis, and quality assurance activities across the programme, working closely with Employment Advisors and Programme Managers to ensure referrals are processed effectively, data is maintained accurately, and enquiries are handled professionally and sensitively.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Previous administrative or team support experience
• Experience in a customer service or support role would be desirable
• Strong administrative and IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A systematic and organised approach to work
• High levels of efficiency and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• A proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders
• Advanced level of English
• Competency in Cantonese and Traditional Chinese

Established in 1993, we have channeled £24 million to +220 conservation leaders in 80 countries, benefitting wildlife, landscapes, and people. We fund mainly in Africa, Asia and Latin America where income is often hardest to raise and can have the biggest impact for people and biodiversity. WFN is governed by a committed trustee board. The Opportunity

We are looking for a diligent and data-minded Grants Assistant to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the WFN grants team in monitoring and evaluating active grants, analysing and assessing the charity’s impact, and in the smooth running of our grants programmes. This is an entry level role, ideal for a candidate looking to put their conservation expertise into practice, and to support impactful grassroots conservation work around the world.

The Grants Assistant will support the Head of Grants and Grants and Network Manager in WFN’s application and review processes, grant management, and impact evaluation work, and will support the flow of information about the work our winners are doing on the ground to the rest of the WFN team. As we prepare to launch an ambitious £150 million philanthropic campaign, we are seeking a strategic and driven Prospect Development Manager to lead the delivery of insight-driven prospect management across the Philanthropy and Partnerships Directorate.

You will play a critical role in creating a steady pipeline of new potential supporters for the fundraising teams, as well as helping shape the data and analytics strategy that will measure the impact of our campaign.

You will ensure that business-as-usual activity—such as briefing materials, due diligence, fundraiser portfolio reviews, prospect research, and insight—is delivered to a high standard, with the understanding that over the course of the campaign, these activities will be undertaken primarily in service of the campaign itself, rather than in addition to it

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is passionate about understanding and engaging supporters who make transformational change possible.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Strategy and Planning

· Develop and implement the prospect development strategy to support the successful delivery of a new High Value campaign and long-term income growth.

· Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between, BAU, campaign goals and supporter engagement strategies.

· Lead on campaign data reporting, impact measurement, and forecasting to inform decision-making across the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships teams.

· Ensure the team are maximising the power of AI within Prospect Development.

· Own the campaign Gift Table and utilise it as a key management tool.

· Lead on the strategic planning, income pipeline modelling, and campaign progress reporting.

Prospect Management and Research

· Lead the identification, qualification, and tracking of new major donor and partner prospects across individual, corporate, and foundation giving.

· Lead on the design and delivery of regular portfolio reviews for relationship managers, using data and insight to optimise pipelines.

About the role

We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with us as an Evidence Officer, working as part of the Strategy, Impact and Evidence team. 

Sustrans’ Strategy, Impact and Evidence team is a leading centre of excellence in active travel research, monitoring and evaluation and we are recruiting now. As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.

Focusing on monitoring and evaluating the impact of infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, you will work on a range of projects around the UK and be involved in the planning, delivery, analysis and reporting of our monitoring and evaluation work.

About you

You will own some experience of project management as well as delivery of project monitoring and evaluation. You should also have some experience of working and communicating with suppliers, partners and/or clients.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting a Cantonese speaking Team Manager to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will oversee a team of Employment Advisors who provide remote support to participants, assisting them in accessing job opportunities, education and training.  

You will be responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance and support to the Employment Advisors, monitoring and managing their workflow and providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance. Your responsibilities will also include quality assurance of STEP programme delivery, monitoring and reporting programme outcomes and compiling and analysing data on the effectiveness of the team’s interventions and activities.

The role

Governance Administration Assistant

The Governance Team at KCLSU are looking for an Administration Assistant to be the first point of contact for our student groups booking visiting speakers, as well as carrying out general administration support in our governance function and the wider organisation.

Key responsibilities include; 

• Processing the Visiting Speaker Risk Assessment Procedure for low and medium level risk events ensuring compliance with the Visiting Speaker Procedure 
• Processing Joint Risk Assessments between KCLSU and KCL for Visiting Speakers, including liaising with Kings Venues.

• Organising meetings with Student Groups in support of developing informative spaces for students to understand the Visiting Speakers process

• Supporting the Governance Coordinator (Visiting Speakers) in the identification, administration and escalation of incident reporting
• Assisting in the general organisation of meetings, availability of participants, room bookings, room set up, and catering, if required.
