The role
The post holder will work alongside our Co-Executive Director, Head of Legal and Legal Administrator in developing and managing Foxglove’s legal work. You will develop and drive forward a significant number and range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams, in multiple jurisdictions. This will require you to have the comfort and ability to navigate diverse settings, while also having the insight to weigh up the benefits and challenges of pursuing cases in different jurisdictions. You will serve as an external representative for Foxglove’s work, writing and speaking on topics of relevance. You will also be a sparring partner for others in the team, bringing a creative mindset and political savviness. UK and international travel are required. Flexibility with working hours will sometimes be needed.

Person Specification
Essential
- Substantial experience in legal practice and conducting litigation and a demonstrated understanding of litigation strategies.

Length and Salary
The role is permanent. The annual salary is £88,400 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role will include significant UK and international travel. About the Role

About the role

The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join us as Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. We are looking to recruit a Digital Innovation Adviser (Paternity Cover) to join our Programmes team on a fixed-term basis (16 weeks). This is an exciting opportunity for a technically-minded professional with a passion for responsible AI and digital innovation to play a central role in Elrha's growing portfolio of AI-focused work.
In this role you will have the opportunity to shape how Elrha integrates AI and digital tools across its humanitarian research and innovation work. You will lead the delivery of our AI Lighthouse partnership with NetHope, act as our internal responsible AI adviser, and develop exciting new business development opportunities including an AI Sandbox and Rapid Innovation Fund. You will also play a key role in building Elrha's internal AI strategy and ensuring our digital platforms remain fit for purpose.
Your application will need to demonstrate:
- Experience delivering digital or AI-enabled initiatives, with a good understanding of how AI is being adopted in practice across humanitarian or nonprofit organisations - including the governance challenges, ethical considerations, and barriers to scaling that commonly arise
- Experience contributing to business development, including developing funding concepts, concept notes or proposals for donors in the digital innovation or humanitarian technology space
- An understanding of responsible AI principles - including equity, inclusion, and what it means in practice to translate ethical frameworks into day-to-day institutional use - and the ability to act as an internal point of reference on these issues for colleagues
- The ability to develop and communicate a clear internal strategy or policy position, working across teams to build consensus and prepare documents for senior sign-off
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to capture learning from technical initiatives and translate it into clear outputs for internal teams and external audiences
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently, prioritising and delivering to a high standard under pressure
- An interest in the humanitarian or development sectors, ideally demonstrated through academic qualifications and/or paid or voluntary work
- Experience of large-scale digital innovation initiatives, humanitarian evidence synthesis, organisational digital transformation, or working with technical partners to design or implement AI-enabled solutions would also be an advantage.

- Remote working as standard – staff can access office bases in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester if required/ appropriate. We expect staff to attend team meetings and away days in person as required.

Overall job purpose
Our Health and Safety Officer will help us embed, maintain, and develop high standards of Health and Safety, across CCT’s whole estate and its people. They will work closely with our small Health and Safety Team to create, implement, and establish our Health and Safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legislation. They will advocate for, and set an example around, best practice in Health and Safety.
We have recently published our TRUST values, which outline the behaviours and expectations that act as our foundations at CCT. We have attached the pack, outlining each value, which we will also be using as part of our shortlisting and interview process to find the right candidates that align with our values.

We’ve made substantial progress in recent years, with improvements and expansions to our delivery model and significant growth in our staff team. To support this growth, we are recruiting for a full time National Director of Operations to lead our delivery across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and emerging community settings, with an ambition to reach Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in scaling our impact and strengthening our presence across the criminal justice system and beyond.
As National Director of Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our learning programmes in prisons and community settings. You will ensure high‑quality, consistent and accessible delivery, overseeing a team of six Regional Managers and a wider workforce of around 65 staff, volunteers and over 2,000 peer mentors trained each year.
Working closely with senior colleagues, partner organisations and national bodies such as HMPPS, you will drive programme excellence, innovation and partnership working. You will also play a key role in new business development, operational strategy, contractual delivery and ensuring we can reliably demonstrate the impact of our work.
The role requires an experienced operational leader with a deep commitment to improving outcomes for people facing disadvantage. You will bring:
- Senior leadership experience in a complex, multi‑site environment.
- A track record of delivering large-scale programmes and leading distributed teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience working with statutory bodies or large public-sector partners (e.g. HMPPS).
- Excellent judgement, communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Understanding of the criminal justice system, safeguarding, or alternative education environments (desirable).
- A collaborative, inclusive leadership style aligned with Shannon Trust’s values.

This is a home-based role but will require travel around the UK including overnight stays. This role is 5 days per week (35 hours) with working days/hours to be mutually agreed in line with business needs.
